Trio Quodlibet Mariechristine Lopez, violin Virginia Luca, viola Fabio Fausone, cello Recorded for Associazione Musicale Il Camerificio Villa Ala (Rivalba, To), December 2020
I came across your channel only this morning, very much liked your interpretations as well as your selections so subscribed immediately. Although I really like your selection of composers & pieces, I'd love to see more eastern Eur. composers added, especially Hungarians of the modern period & their less well known predecessors. Bartok has always been one of my favorites, particularly his non-orchestral pieces for piano and/or violin. There must be earlier composers of the region who are less well known, composers whose works would have influenced Bartok & his contemporaries. I'm not a musician & am not formally educated in music but I've always loved eastern Eur. music, whether it's by classical composers or is traditional folk music by peasants or by the Roma/Gypsies. I also love the Baroque & pre-Baroque music in which the traditions of Eastern (Persian, etc) music are blended with Western classical. Thanks so much for your programs here! Such beautiful work!
