Are you playing with adventure sync when ur not in pokemon go u should pop 1 egg in 2 hours 2km or 1 10km a day

I think it just ticks me off a bit that a lot of the new Pokémon introduced recently have been egg exclusive, like Varoom and Charcadet. I like the rarity of certain Pokémon being only available through hatching eggs, but it’s starting to feel like Niantic is making the method their current go-to for releasing new Pokémon.
Egg exclusives can be something fun and keep me interested! But if they make them impossible to get (like Larvesta, fem Salandit and Rockruff) the opposite happens, I've stopped hatching more than one egg at a time, it's a waste of resources
Just got a female salandit after 2 years and haven’t hatched the varoom so I don’t hold out for this new one. Plus need two of them to evolve. I walk and hatch a fair amount but it’s up to RNG
As someone with always just the free incubator, I generally don't even see most event eggs because I just don't hatch them fast enough.
Same here. I save up for 1 or 2 12 km hatches in a double stardust event, and the Riolu events the last couple years I used some saved coins from gyming
This bugs me so much. If they release a new Pokemon in eggs, why can’t they make my OLD eggs have the new mon in them as well?
But NO, you have to hatch your old eggs, get new eggs that actually have a chance of having the featured Pokemon in it and then pray that you actually get it.
And don‘t get me started on the fact that you only get a single incubator in the first place.

It’s kinda annoying when they release in eggs. I’m ftp, and I save up coins for incubators. Still missing the 1480 boxes full of incubators I used to get monthly. 😢
I’ve hatched a few Larvesta, but I don’t love egg releases. Not even trying for the new one now.
As a f2p trainer, egg locked mons create fomo for a week or so. I find egg chasing frustrating so I accept ill eventually get one.

so, for most people that work or go to school etc, (and the fact that if you really want a chance to get this monster, or maybe a few if you are a "collector" like me), you have to use a bunch of incubators and use up a bunch of time trying to randomly end up with one you want. I feel most people find it irritating, I certainly do. I mean, Niantic wants to give players some tasks to do that takes a while to work through, sure, but the hatch garbage is just unreasonable.

i do spend some money but i try not to and incubators are so expensive and buying the packages with incubators in them is still really expensive, so that combined with the alternative being glacial movement hatching eggs (still haven't hatched a larvester either)makes it seem overly predatory of niantic. so not a fan and their really needs to be a permanent super incubator so you can at least go two at a time though that's still nine eggs that you would possibly have to walk 108km for.
I'm around 25 eggs in so far with no Charcadet.

There are some 7km shinies that I just won't be seeing anytime soon. I'm no longer grinding for trade distance (I have that platinum medal). But I do farm for red, Strange Eggs and mass hatchings of purple, 10km eggs.
What annoys me greatly about hatch exclusive debuts is when Niantic thinks it's okay to pester trainers. Example: Larvesta's debut was in eggs. It takes 400 candy to evolve that pesky Pokémon. During the introductory event, Niantic thought it would be okay to push notifications regarding the event ending and fake inquiring as to whether or not trainers evolved Larvesta. Many trainers hadn't even hatched a Larvesta at that point.
Niantic needs to remember that while they like trainers spending real money in their augmented reality game, the majority of the real-world money comes from adults who need to work. Because that's where the adult money comes from to spend in their game.
Adding larvesta as a buddy will give you the candies do the daily process everyone does for half candy distance if you don't know how to super buddy plenty of videos. Don't get down make sure u take full advantage of adventure sync etc take advantage of the things at hand maybe do smaller eggs he's available this Is one you can get
larvesta will 100% get a comm day sometime, im not worried at all about grinding it. i managed to hatch 1 but its garbage, i'll just wait for the comm day
I agree, I wish there were some sort of monthly challenges we could work towards that actually encouraged more sophisticated gameplay. Maybe rewarding xl rares, or stardust or something.
I mostly use my infinite incubator, so yeah, one egg at a time.
I've spent my XL rare candy on my Zygarde 100% form. Too bad it's only 70% IV.... It's pretty good in Master League.
I feel like with Pokémon locked in eggs they could do a special research where the end result is the new Pokémon (1 guaranteed in maybe like a 20 km egg) similar to how certain pokemon in the main series are only available in eggs but also have them at the same rarity they are currently in regular eggs. I still dont have a female salandit and have only ever hatched 1 larvesta.
I am expecting Mega Rayquaza raid day also coming in this season too. During Mega Rayquaza raid day a timed research that will last for three hours to complete it, this timed research will award at least second Meteorite once timed research was completed.

Yeah, but winters by me are kind of cold and I don't walk much otherwise then. Summers yeah I can walk up to about 75km a week. I wish they gave a little more to start, like more forever incubators instead of charging for each thing. Same with storage, at least start with more than 300 pokemon and 50 items!
But the Pokémon, they sure make it the way you can choose your Pokémon.Eggs, you don't talk to Pokémon.You want and that would be the 12 hatch

I think egg hatching can be fun and adds a nice element of surprise, but with each release being egg-only, it starts to get a little tiring. I don't go out of my way to purchase, well, anything anymore, so I don't really grind for eggs. If I get a shiny or a rare/new Pokemon, great, if not, eventually I will. I wish they spaced things out more with egg-only releases though. Release things just in the wild again for once, you know? Not raids, not eggs, just in the wild. But I suppose that doesn't give them as much loot-box $$ :/
I'm f2p to the extent that I don't buy incubators, because I travel 10+km a day at my job, at a low enough speed that I get a lot of walking distance every week. I manage to hatch a decent amount of eggs daily (up to 3-4 depending) and I have none of the egg exclusive mons. I have been trying desperately to get Larvesta since its release.
I will say though, I like that they seem to be testing the waters on putting raid mons in eggs. I have multiple, but getting a Turtonator from an egg is pretty cool. They should do that more. Maybe expand the egg pool more so it's a little more of a surprise of what you'll get? I dunno, pros and cons to it all, just kinda thinking into my comment at this point.
While I'm at it too, my brother and I have discussed at length some theoretical items to help rural players: the Bicycle and the S.S. Anne Ticket. The idea is that these items would move you for a period of time to a Pokestop/gym. The Bicycle would be a local thing, say within a few miles, and the S.S. Anne ticket would move you to another continent/landmass (because, y'know, boat). Maybe even give a cheeky joystick or something, maybe randomly move you along a route. I honestly don't care. The idea of spending a couple bucks to instant transmission to Africa for an hour to try to find a Tropius without breaking the game's rules would be nice, though. Like, I'm never going to have the money to go to Africa, and if I do end up in Africa, my first thought probably isn't pulling out my phone and peeping the Pokemon Go scene in suburban Egypt. Maybe for a minute, but not to the extent that I'll be hunting specific regional Pokemon. Alternatively, they could just give us long distance trading. Then they wouldn't really need to do that. But could you imagine having an in-game way to be able to actually lucky trade with that Lucky Friend you have in Finland? I dunno.

i just hatched my 1st Larvesta on the 1st day of the recent Sinnoh tour LOL
I have recently been speaking with friends about how disillusioned I am with eggs at the moment. I'm only missing 3 or 4 hundos from the entire current egg pool, and a significant number of Pokemon available from eggs are not available in shiny form, making it seem a bit pointless. I do like having something to graft towards so Charcadet will reinvigorate things a bit.
I usually get incubators in the item boxes when I have enough coins to get one and then I use the Super Incubators to hatch 12 twelve km eggs at once with a star piece to maximize the stardust gains. Otherwise, I'm hatching one egg at a time in my free incubator. I'm not a huge fan of "egg"-sclusive releases because it usually takes me quite awhile to hatch them when I'm only hatching one egg at a time.
i do find it a bit annoying when pokemon are exclusive to eggs, raids not so much cuz you can at least guarantee the encounter, but tbh, i dont find it so annoying to the point where it really bothers me ig, like obviously id like to get the new pokemon, but im also just like meh, i get it when i get it, specially if its not something thats like absolutely necessary for me, like even if its a useful pokemon, as long as i have something else that fits the roll for gbl or raids or whatever it is, its whatever, i think it also comes down to me just trying to get less frustrated in general with the game, cuz i play and love the game a lot, but it also does get me very frustrated, so just trying to have fun with the game more
having said that, i definitely do prefer having the chance of getting the new pokemon from the wild or at least field research, even if it's rare, cuz then at least its like, ooh ima go out and hunt all day looking for the new pokemon as oppose to, ooh ima go out and walk around all day doing whatever, hoping i get lucky with eggs haha, anyway, is what it is
(also btw, im also pretty f2p, like ive spent money on the game, but not really anymore, so im using just the infinite incubator and any other ones i get from research)
If Niantic are going to restrict Pokemon to eggs the least they could do is make it possible to transfer eggs without hatching them
People need to understand that's not ninatic s decision take it up with the pokemon company/ Nintendo in the main games you can't delete eggs the closest thing is trade eggs
@@francismendoza7997 on the other hand in the main games I don’t get an egg I don’t want from spinning a pokestop - there are loads of mechanics that work differently between the two. And niantic is who needs to take it up with Nintendo/Pokemon company because as long as niantic is happy with it, there is no incentive work toward a change with the Pokemon company. In Pokemon go we are niantics customer and they need to know their customers are unhappy (or, they need reminded that their customers are still unhappy)
I maybe mistaken but doesn't niantic have control of in game structure and Nintendo and pokemon do the event set pokemon or did I read that wrong a few years back but yea I agree niantic cops alot of flack and let's be honest they going in right direction

Hatched first 3 Eggs for this event (2 x 2km and 1 x 10km) got 2 Charcadets in the 2km Egg and 10km egg!
I’m on around 35-45 eggs hatched, I had this week off work, was so excited, now I’m just sick of not hatching it 😂

In 2 days not working too hard I actually hatched 3 Charcadet's. Normally I have to hatch a lot of eggs to get the one that is locked to eggs. These only took about 7 eggs in total. I got two 2's and one 3 stars so kinda ok. Fingers crossed for you to get really good ones to evolve
I like egg exclusives, as long as they are released regularly over time. I already have every Pokémon released so far and I prefer not getting everything a minute after they are released sometimes just so I have something to do that's not "open the app, catch new pokemon, done". Yes I understand it's frustrating for those players that don't play all the time but there has to be SOME content that's not incredibly easy to get right? It has to be easy to get eventually though, looking at you Sandile...
Edit: Yeah I posted this before the end of the video, yeah I need a long term checklist too, just reached lvl 50 myself.
Personally I spend the RareXL on GO Fest Mythicals that were worth anything IV wise. I used my first batch on my 98IV Victini and the next batch's going towards my 96IV Meloetta!
I like that eggs have exclusive Pokemon, it gives you more incentives - at least in terms of the game itself - to go for a walk, including the increased shiny chance. I just hate that a lot of the new Pokemon are exclusive to eggs, and that they're so exceedingly rare to get. And THEN, there's the pokemon you have to hatch, that need an insane amount of candy to evolve, like Volcarona. Instances like that makes no sense to me.
My hubby and I each managed to hatch 1 Charcadet. We had a lucky trade saved up for something cool and used it on them😊 I think I will evolve to Armorouge❤
i just hatched by first larvesta this week and got my first charcuterie today :D
It took me 21 eggs to hatch him, I hatched (7),2km eggs, (4),5km eggs, and (10),10km eggs... it hatched out of a 10km egg.. I spent $45 in US currency and used all the coins in super incubators. It was quite frustrating bc my friend got him on the first 5km egg hatched I was so mad lol. Best of luck on the search, I'm looking for another one so I can evolve to the other evolution now.
i like having something to chase towards, but i dont like when its impossible (like larvesta or f!salandit), but i miss having research come out. i really like having a few different researches to work on at a time, and i far prefer that to egg rng

I am on the fence with egg exclusives, in general, but especially when they are mère days after Go Tour where they were some (the regionals). Let us at least replenish our incubators!
I can see from the comments I'm one of the few people who like eggs. My work means I miss all raid hours and many raid weekends. On the up side, work requires a lot of walking so I'm always hatching eggs. This week I have walked 88 km hatching 126 eggs of which 5 were Charcadet.

I’m a free to play player and these types of egg exclusives are tough on me bc I only have one incubator. Really annoying that this is another larvesta, which I still have not hatched after more than 100 egg hatches
i think that if they wanna introduce certain pokémon to be egg exclusive, they should be in the most common section during the event and then they can put it in a higher rarity section or something. it’s truly annoying when i’m trying to just pokedex something and it’s near impossible to get them. all my 2km eggs have been togepi’s and while it’s nice to get candies for my hundo baby, i just want the new one and not care what i get from an egg. i enjoy hatching eggs, and that shouldn’t change during an event such as this
I wanted a Charcadet but none of the eggs I got during the horizons event even had a chance of getting one 😭
Out of eggs you can get more candy than catching it in the wild. I do walk a lot, so egg hatching is daily practice.
I got 2 Charcadets in like about 15 eggs and i also have 2 larvestas but i still havent gotten salandit and varoom so my feelings towards it are mixed
im not into egg hatching and i always end up with 9 10 k eggs, im ftp and they do give a lot of incubators for free and i usually save them till a half distance event. i did get a shiny pikachu with the hat yesterday
I love getting out for walks, so I really don't mind the eggs, but the weather where I live isn't suitable for walking 7 months out of the year. It's really upsetting to see so many people enjoying the game, while we have to bunker down inside under 70cm of snow unable to participate.
I think if it's released like this in events and they're in 2k,5k&10k it's not bad since those eggs are more accessible per say, but when they lock them in 12k it's annoying because those are harder to get and hatch. Irregardless I can't say the same as a rural player or f2p as I am neither.
Probably be nice if they ranked the Pokémon better because as much as I adore skrelp I would be resentful of getting that out of a 10k generally let alone when trying to get an egg exclusive. Also when they do the releases they could soften the blow by cheapening incubators in the shop for a couple of days even if they cap that to like 10 cheaper incubators or something. And anyway we've all been asking for a second permanent incubator for years now, people were hoping it was gonna be a level 50 reward!
I'm somewhat okay-ish with Egg exclusive mons but only for a short while. Cause looking at Female Salandit, Dusk Form Rockruff, Larvesta, Frigibax were/arer really hard to obtain but it would be nice if they were a more balanced out tbh. I say were cause I got the Female Salandit, relatively quick. Dusk Form Rockruff when they were in raids luckily, none in the eggs so far and I think 1 or 2 Larvesta and like 1 or 2 Frigibax as well. Luckily Frigibax did spawn in the wild on occasion and managed to snag a few extra ones in.
But for sure all the pay things with all tickets for everything that's going on and being promoted entirely unnecessary kills the fun massively and besides that it's also utter BS.
Sure they want/need to make money but I think they harvested plenty enough already. But nooo it's never enough for the meatsacks.
I'm all for longer term gameplay, that's fine. My issue with egg-exclusives is they don't really add any gameplay. They're more of a background activity while playing with other things in the game. So I mainly object if the only newly added thing is egg-exclusive mons, and not really anything else worth playing for
Hatching eggs can be fun but frustrating at the same time. I finally hatched a Charcadet today after quite a few eggs. I lost count 😂
Not quite free to play here, but more like small spender. If it were great in PvP or as a raid attacker I think I'd be a bit annoyed by the pay to win aspect of it, but since it's kind of just a dex entry I'm content to hatch at my usual pace without going crazy buying incubators. 6 eggs so far (definitely not rushing it). Fun video. Always fun to hear that you want opinions on stuff!
egg hatchiing went down the sewers long ago, the only chance we can hope for the best results is field research events like the one we had just recently CHARGED UP, and im saying that cause finally got my first shundo ^^
I haven't gotten any Charcadet and at this point I'm ready to give up I have to many non event eggs in my storage and not enough incubators to clear out my egg storage and probably won't ever get it cleared out and even if I do get it cleared out it won't matter because 10km eggs are rare for me to get so I might as well give up because the 1 thing I want is going to be impossible for me to get
My friend uses a little desk swing for his phone to hatch while hes homebound, it works pretty well for him!
Yep 100% if you cant hatch eggs or walk your community then i dont blame people for getting phone rockers
There is 5 snapshots, noticed sometimes it doesn't trigger so try again anyway and it pops up. Maybe we are too fast?

23 eggs, hatched 5 Charcadet, 4 from 10km's, 1 from a 2km. 3 back to back to back.
Personally I like a challenge! It's nice to have something to work towards. BUT using the 10k eggs only for this purpose is torture. You can't even guarantee that you'll get the 10k egg or be stuck with 9 2k/5k eggs. So this time it was nice to have a chanse with all the eggs.
I like the egg pokemon, something to grind too. Maybe make them a little easier to get though. But I’ve gotten a few larvesta, even transferred some, couple jangmo os, and I have two varoom, one I have evolved since it was a 98, but I would love to get fem Salandit at some point, have only ever hatched a couple of those.
as a low spender I find that most egg related pokemon and events are entirely not worth doing- larvesta is actually a relatively good pokemon, being one of the best bug type raid attackers when evolved... but its just so so un worth it- the odds of ever hatching enough eggs to get 400 candy is like so so small, and then you're gonna basically want a hundo to spend all that on with how hard it is (also have fun powering it up as that would be another like 250+ candy)
it just makes it frustrating and not even worth trying, and having to hatch EVERY egg you get you cant even wait for good eggs then stock up and walk over a few weeks or something and you have to hatch eggs even if half the pokemon are shiny locked and you dont want any of the ones in them
if you could actually transfer eggs and stock up 9 10km eggs and walk them over the next week or two it might be somewhat more worth it? but even then its completely possible to not even get a decent stat pokemon or even one you want, nevermind the shiny on one you want
overall eggs are moreso like something im like omg eggyy!! when they hatch, but I absolutely give up the second something is in eggs if I get something I get something
as someone who plays a ton I only have 9 total shinies ever from eggs out of 356 total shinies on my account and 4 total hundos out of 47 on my account, which for being such a "big" part of the game is really dissappointing
though I do know odds can be finicky, out of 340 total lifetime raids I have 0 raid hundos and 0 legendary hundos even from trades... so lots of things in the game can have weird odds but eggs are especially pointless in my opinion
I have watch the entire first season of Pokemon Horizon, and i have to say, i wasnt sure if i would like it but it is worth watching it.....
It frustrates me to have new Pokemon behind an egg paywall.
Is there a limit on daily snapshots?
Niantic has been doing a good job with eggs recently. Varoom in 12 K eggs is fine because we can control when we get 12 K eggs. Regional mons in 7 K eggs during Sinnoh Tour was good for the same reason. Charcadet in regular RNG eggs (2, 5, and 10 K) was handled well too because even though we can’t control which of those 3 RNG eggs we get, Charcadet was in all 3. It would be a lot more convenient if Niantic would let us transfer eggs though.
in addition to the other egg issue that i 100% agree is a problem (its clearly an attempt to milk the player base for some money, and they really should disclose actual hatch rates, buying incubators is straight up gambling), there is one other problem that arises from locking mons to eggs (or raids) and that is locking mons out of great league (unless a very low level account hatches the egg and trades it to the high level account, literally incentivising multi accounting). while armarouge & ceruledge aren’t meta defining, there have definitely been problems with them doing this in the past (sneasler was allowed in the first fighting cup). niantic needs to make pvp more accessible, not less: looking at you, 1 encounter, 6 raids in 5 days, origin giratina that people maybe got to trade below 1500 that is making waves for those who have one

I was recently reminded as to why I don't spend money on eggs in this game. I purchased a box of incubators for Sinnoh tour, and went over 150 hatches with no shiny. Not a fan of eggs anymore, and especially egg locked pokemon.
I'm using the incubators I got from the 3 months so I got my free ones so after shinno tour I'm just finishing the rest up

I don't have a big problem with Egg exclusives, in fact I prefer them over Raid exclusive because remote raid passes are so inflated so at the very least I can get 1 event egg. That being said, I can't hatch them fast enough for that to happen sometimes. If we could have the ability to discard unwanted eggs because the pool isn't to your liking then we could have more chance to hoard at least 9 event eggs. Or just so not to waste resources on an egg you don't want all together, but that would go against Niantic's need for our money lol

Trying to get female Salandit, varoom, sandile etc was a nice long term goal even as mostly f2p
They should halve the egg distance for events like this. Also I wish they could shake up the 7km eggs, I'm so bored of them. I have all of the shinies and probably all of them lucky from all the distance trading.
I prefer the grind and 9 times out of 10, I forget about it eventually and it's an even better surprise when I do finally hatch them!
Took me 51 hatches, but I got 1 finally. I don't mind the hard to hatch ones.
I still don’t have Larvesta so I don’t have much hope for hatching the new one 😂
Egg exclusive Pokémon when they are in all three eggs for the informal event is fine as long as we have some gods damn reduced hatched distance

I find it annoying that certain Pokémon are locked behind eggs/raids. They should also be in the wild maybe but just rare
Interesting each egg has different rarity tier for charcadet 😂 I rather you get it in the wild though that goes to new pokemon generally

I hate new pokemons being released in eggs. I used all my incubators and hatched more than 40 eggs and no charcadet.
Don't mind egg exclusives. Gives you something to grind for. Not everything needs to be out in the wild
Combine these egg release Pokémon with all these tickets then passes you could spend hundreds a month and still miss out.
19 eggs for the first one, 12 more for the second.... got so over it that I ended up using some of my incubator stash. 100% waiting to evolve one/both as they are stinky 3*... regardless will probably trade them for more useful pokemon later on lol.... Still only have the one varoom I hatched when it was first introduced, so although I do really enjoy hatching, I don't enjoy Pokemon being egg locked when the pool of pokemon is so diluted with trash/transfers.
ie. The majority of time I only hatch with my free incubator for the stardust gains. I think many would be way more into hatching eggs if there was an actual purpose to do so like increased shiny odds, or better yet a new region locked pokemon to hatch each season (I bet a whole lot more people would be motivated to hatch eggs if there was something like Corsola, Sigilyph or Comfey etc. in them), meta relevant pokemon for either pve or pvp etc.
I like a low value chase, I'm not f2p so I'll toss some incubators at eggs during the event but just within my normal activities.
But boy do I agree on the long researches.
For me, I can’t say I mind the new releases being in eggs, however I think that’s attributed to my ridiculous hatch luck. Managed to get a Vroom on my first hatch, and back when shiny Noibat was first released it only took me three hatches to get a green bat. If it weren’t for the unlikely luck I’m sure I’d find the whole process tedious and annoying, especially as a mostly free to play player.
