- Michael Richards is a multiple Emmy and SAG Award-winning actor best known for playing the iconic character Cosmo Kramer on the classic sitcom Seinfeld. After cutting his teeth on the Los Angeles comedy circuit alongside legends like Robin Williams, Sam Kinison, and Andy Kaufman, Richards landed minor film and TV roles throughout the 1980s, including the cultish late-night sketch comedy show Fridays and Weird Al Yankovic’s oddball comedy UHF, before exploding into pop cultural consciousness as Seinfeld’s Kramer. Richards’ latest project, his newly published book Entrances and Exits, provides an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the highs and lows of his career, from his unconventional upbringing by his schizophrenic grandmother and single mother to his training as a theater actor and honing comedic instincts on stage, his time in the army during Vietnam, and his big break. With candor and humor, Richards chronicles how his private life and curiosity shaped his comedic talents, culminating in his Kramer fame before a health scare intensified a spiritual quest informing and inspiring his insightful memoir.

Michael provided most of the innocent, uncontrollable belly laughs my family had together in the 90s. We are just one family of millions. Thank you so much ❤
Cosmo Kramers voice being insightful is delightfully unexpected.
We missed you micheal. You brought joy to so many. The life of seinfeld.
Fantastic interview. Other than his book, probably the longest interview Michael has ever done. Love it. Indeed listening to him talk and describe his life is so fascinating. Thank you so much. Glad he agreed to this interview.
God bless Michael Richards.
Hope you have the peace you deserve Michael! Love/Respect
His final statement at the end of the conversation is so powerful.
Great interview. Listening now it does seem like Michael is almost shamanic or some kind of savant. Which helps explain his lapsed behavior almost 20 years ago. He's a sweet soul who brought joy to millions. Michael I hope you are well and peaceful. Thank you Rick Rubin for having him on.
Thankyou! Really enjoyed Michael. Definitely like the all the stories and mention of Red Skelton
Giddy up!

@frequentiis haha! Happy trails Sir 🙏🏼
SEINFELD FOREVER
Buck up f-head, his casual refernces to everything from Goethe, to vaudeville, to Jung, and his life altering dream about being a clown holding the globe were all sides of “Kramer” I had no idea were there. Another fascinating interview…
I love the idea of sitting at the bottom of a pool in a weighted chair and focusing on your breathing. Of course I'm terrified of water ... 🤷
my brother sent me this one, yall always snapping
YOU CAN TALK YOU CAN TALK YOU CAN TALK!
Oh damn I didn't expect this, I genuinely hope people forgave him for that "incident" on stage almost 20 years ago (although it was pretty hilarious). Looking forward to listening to this one👌
Hmmm
@BillDo-gd5me lmao so true, for the record if anyone cares I'm white and I forgave him before it even happened🤣🤣
🫀🫀
