- Robert Greene is an author known for his books on strategy, power, mastery, and seduction. The 48 Laws of Power, perhaps Greene's most famous book, found a particularly passionate audience among rappers and musicians, as the book resonates with the challenges and dynamics of the music industry. After 50 Cent read it, he approached Greene and the two collaborated on The 50th Law. It’s been mentioned in songs by Jay Z, Kanye West, UGK, Central Cee, MF DOOM, and Drake.

One of the greatest conversations I have listened to.... Ever!!!!
I survived a brain stem infarction, which has left me with permanent disabilities, which has changed my life soooooo much.
What I so appreciate in this podcast is how the total lack of hubris between Rick and Robert. Pure gold. 🙏🙏🙏
Hearing Robert talk about how his stroke has impacted him really moved me. There are so many little thinks we take for granted everyday. Rick, the way you reframed counting the cyclists was beautiful (53:50). Everything is a construct within our heads and sometimes changing/reframing the story is what makes the difference.
One great guest after another it’s crazy
Absolutely!!! Hectic!!!!!! ☺️☺️🙏
I love the ads on th3 TV, great soundtrack too!
It’s always so interesting to hear from Robert. What an awesome & enjoyable conversation. 🎄🎄🌸
Please add timestamps to your podcast! It starts to become one of my favourites!
ALL OR NOTHING
Exactly
Be the change you'd like to see in the world... And do those timestamps yourself 😅
I usually write by hand because of the anxiety issue. A blank journal page doesn't trouble me, but a blank Google Doc page with wordcount just a click away does. Writing into a journal is more organic, the composition emerges whole, and then can be transferred to other formats.
Been listening for a couple months at nighttime and I just feel conected to the universe with these and so much info in them gems in my ears
I really enjoyed this conversation! Gratitude
Quickly became one of my favourite podcasts! What a gem
I honestly wish Rick would talk more in his podcasts. He's too good of a listener!
I think his minimalism here probably reflects how he's learned to let artist express themselves, so, I think that is more instructive of his methods than if he explained himself, or talked more.
the way he talks about Robert counting the people and reframing that story at 54:00 ish is just amazing. listening to Robert's mind change on that was a powerful moment
Soooo precious!!!
Wow, that exchange between Rubin and Green at 20:00 is so raw. Idk the extent of their relationship, but for Rubin to jovially laugh at Greens experience, not at his expense, but with empathy, and to say something so wise in a way that Green would resound with is wonderful to witness.
These two men are one of my highest inspirations, and im privileged to listen to them have such an intimate conversation.
Great talk, really enjoyed
Please Please Please bring on Antonia Dodge. After listening to Robert, Antonia Dodge would be a complement his discussions so much. Please bring Antonia Dodge to the show!
Crazy how this channel has such little traction. Great conversation!
More for us I guess :)
Agreed!
thank you and bless you both!
Wooooooooow!! Thanks for this one!!
That was amazing! So wonderful to listen to Robert.
This episode was great!
Your speed, is your speed, there speed is there speed!
In the end, its between you and your source, it was never between you and them.
The journey is never about the speed, but the experience, you construct in your mind, the choice is ours!!!
What's that gonna be?
Competition is an illusion of the reality of their "fear"...
Wahoo! Love you both, thank you!
Hi Rick, I see you, what your doing. I think your a genius, and Dr. Greene, and Andrew Huberman too. BTW Sublime is my favorite band (best mix of genres).
This is gonna be a good one 🎧
Thank you!
Interesting information
Rick always seems to have a better way of looking at a situation and spinning it in a positive direction. Two of my role models 🙏
Very interesting, thank you...☮
Thank you
2 of my favorite humans!! Very exciting!!
I’d say one of my favourite humans and one of my least favourite humans 😝
Hahaha! Gotta love diverse opinions! Have a great holiday. Merry Christmas!
This is getting better and better. When we will see Sir Paul Mccartney in here?

This podcast is like my little secret
There’s fine line between anxiety and excitement
its actually located in the same place in the brain so its a lot similar than you think
One of the most insightful findings in the last 50 years of science. Pleasure and pain being co-located
You’re a fine line
Whats the name of the book that Robert mentioned in 9:30? I couldn’t understand it.
The emerging goddess. I googled it, the author is Albert Rothenberg
Hwy rick can you do a word with joshe homme
32:50 what book is he talking about? Cant hear the title(
Dangerous Liaisons, and the film is worth seeing too
This clip comes full circle for me as I am someone doesn’t believe in his protege Ryan hamiltons work nor do I believe stoicism exists. What’s unbelievable is me and a friend know Roebucks brother from rain parade in San Francisco. Small world
What do you mean you don’t believe in stoicism? Just curious
@@jimjamjerry I believe it is a false emotion to control people. Its a form of forced masking. Humans are animals with emotions and they should just as in touch with their stomach and gut desires and sex ones as their intellectual ones. This over emphasis on this proves to me that it really is nihilism, it is a charade being created for people to not deal with grief healthy or learn to communicate better. They want little emotionless robots who act like they are full of honor and dignity but they aren't at all. This war face/ethic and mentality will not win anything.
The best example of how much they have ruined this word and concept is just listening to Ryan Hamilton the protege slash research assistant for this person....poor guy. He is so brainwashed he just sits around quoting the dozen different versions of Marcus Aurelius' meditations over and over like its a bible and secret code to worship and unlock... this perfect leader a philosopher king warrior, CORNY!!!!!

@@PortervilleMusicSociety interesting take!
Best part was Rick suggesting Robert try to get to 100 people passing him because it's all just a mental construct and a story we tell ourselves. Why not just make a different story? I thought that was very clever and interesting. Worst part was Robert talking about how Israel shouldn't overreact because it will destroy a chance of a peace deal. I thought that was a clueless, naive viewpoint.
The story has to be rooted in reality. Not all stories work
She is an Ultimate, "Seducer".
The Seducee, seduces the Seducer. Her dark side, stays behind the moon , waiting to eclipse!!!
In the end, prison sets her"free"...
Ein wenig fühle ich mich verstanden...

His history of warfare is like a religious treatise on western liberalism, down to the Ukraine boosterism. "Just add chaos"... maybe you're a bit stuck in your thinking.
chaos is what loosens stuck thinking
I love how Robert says transcribing hours of tapes of 50 Cent and Chris Lighty talking about their experiences is the shit work. That’s literally a dream come true for me.
