Yeah, 13k in WoW tokens, but on third party website it's more like 3k. Still a lot of money though
I don't even understand the psychology behind this. What's the point of spending this much if it's gonna be replaced by another ring next patch (and when that happens they'll probably spend another $10k+ on it). Where's the fun in this? I thought whole point of raiding was to progress with your guild and challenge difficult content. I understand wanting to just gear up but then why spend so much when you know it's going to be replaced in just a few months?

Yes, to be very honest, this is completely out of hand now. This is why I would never be a part of a GDKP, it’s purely based around how much gold people have bought with real money and funds a bad environment within the WoW community. Within WOTLK, people should not even be seeing amounts of 100,000+ gold… let alone this is just a cut of one raid.. this is really aweful.
In original Wrath 30-40k was considered a hell of lot of gold. It's ridiculous nowadays
