Dude, when people play in guild raids - such items are reserved to guild leader -> raid leader -> main tanks -> guild officers. And no one gets anything for this.
Here - the whole raid got 10k+ gold each.
Also, pre-sold means just that there would be no bidding post-factum. But I suppose raid participants were allowed to outbid these 350k when the raid was arranged. They just didn't. They agreed to all conditions of the raid - including pre-sold Legendaries. And now they cry that they want it, and how unfair it is. Also, damn hunters would gladly take any agility melee weapon when they can.
GDKP - is a PUG raid, but with extra steps. You cannot expect to receive best loot just cause you want it. And since it is a pug, no one cares how actively you raid at all, cause you see them all first and last time.
Also, that legendary would become useless after 3 months (cause prepatch came 3 months after Sunwell) - so don't even try to tell how useful this item would be for the whole raid because hunter would directly use it, blablabla.
At the very least, this warrior seems like dedicated player - considering he also has a Warglaive.
Legendary items are more about the prestige and glory, than about simple utility. In that measure - the warrior is the best possible option to get it. These double legendaries will be a glorious achievement even 10 years down the line.
State of wow classic is absurd. Imagine having 2 actively raiding hunters and have the bis legendary given to a melee for +1 dps boost.

The bow isn't even bis for hunters I am pretty sure the other sunwell bow is better because the generated ammo by the thorisdal is worse than the epic arrows. So I am pretty sure the epic sunwell bow sims more dps due to better ammo dps

You know you can farm such amount of gold legitimately - if you put some effort in it.
Look no further than Asmongold's mom. He said she had no less than a million gold back in BC or WotLK. And around 15 millions in Cata, or something on that scale.
I'm legit mad a warrior got it. gold buying in EU is so bad. it's a stat stick and obviously MEANT for a hunter. it does 60 more dps then the second highest alternative. 350k for that is ridiculous for someone who can't use it.

i personally quit tbc because of gdkps everyone wanna do this sh**, like 9 out of 10guilds, this isn't the game we played back then bro, its all about who's richer irl, complete clown fiesta since its also so easy to manipulate who gets the loot(the leader and his friends others gets screwed up all time)

On my German big server there is only like 1 or 2 DKP guild/groups. For about 25 guilds clearing content.

gdkp would be so awesome if it was not for gold buyers.. it is the best way to raid and make sure everyone get something out of their time spend.. but buying gold just makes it super corrupt
This GDKP is not "normal person"s. If playing from the start of Classic and being savvy to use the AH, as well as being a frequenter of GDKPs, you can get massive amounts of gold. My strategy in Classic was to constantly be hawking the AH for cheap materials to convert to consumables. Even without waiting for high demand times, you could always make gold this way but if you waited for when the demand was high, you could make insane returns. Same with just buying up the cheap stuff over the week and selling it again on the weekend.
I think most of the Uber rich have just been doing gpdkp raids all xpac and making money off people coming in to get some items. Then they all just pass gold back and forth. Definitely gold buying going on though
@@joshholmes1372 this is correct answer. Like if you look at guzu, he had 6-8k payouts and for this raid alone he made 30k. Doing it every week on multiple characters makes you that rich. Of course it's impossible without having gold buyers, but they don't buy in hundreds of thousands.

Allowing that bow to go to a warrior is pretty dumb. Then again you'd have to be pretty dumb to spend ( buy ) that much gold for it as a warrior anyways.

The fact that GDKP's exists feels wrong to me. I mean do whatever you want with your gold but buying loot, especially at these ridiculous prices that in no way possible has been made legitimately, seems very pay-to-win to me.
If the gold is made legitimately you can argue that its not that bad cause that means that person has put in a lot of effort to accumulate that gold. But lets be honest, in no way possible can you make 350k gold legitimately. That person has bought that gold, and with that gold bought loot. That is the definition of pay-to-win.
You can make it legit, but it just takes a very large amount of time. Plus if you get good at running the AH it's possible. Just takes a lot of time and effort.

This is why gdkps should be banned along with everyone who is caught doing them. This way this sort of practice will be discouraged and nobody will buy the gold in the first place to be able to spend it like this.

We took enough crap from melee folk back in classic vanilla just a year ago with trinkets and basically everything else when we did much less damage. Id say its just what comes around goes around at this point

You can do over 450 gold per character on dailies alone (without vendoring a single item or interacting with the AH). A person with 6 alts makes 2700 gold per DAY on that alone. Now add several "passive" gold generation from professions, like cloth and bars transmutes. Now add actually using your professions to make money. Now add AoE grinding and selling BoEs.
Although it isn't easy and requires a LOT of time and knowledge, you can make over 30-50k a week as a dedicated veteran player who plays 14+ hours a day on several characters (which is actually scarily common in Classic).
As much as RMT is a shitty reality of Classic, not everyone who is rich RMTs. TBC has been out for a year now. People have had time to make ludicrous amounts of money.

Not necesssarily. I have a friend with over 3 million gold.. he's run multiple GDKPs of "past current" content since Classic each week, those pots stack up over time.
