GDKP is poison and is ruining classic. The top spenders are just swiping illegal gold and bragging about it. It is disgusting and you just advertise for htis more and more by posting these videos.

I mean, what’s not to like tbh? You get paid insane amounts of gold every run with the splits and then you spend that on gear. I don’t understand what you have against that, what’s different than getting it handed to you in a guild run?

Because you have to be geared to run GDKP’s as a carry, you can’t get gold to buy gear without running GDKP’s (no one is buying raid gear with regular farming gold) and it’s too late in the game to join current raids as a newer 70 or even a Kara geared.
It’s a vicious loop that’s killing the game.
I saw a warrior in AB today with the sword and he had 3x6 strength gems in it

@@wowjon2605 depends on how much arp you have already. Natural gear progression for fury warrior coming out of BT can leave you really strapped for hit, and grip of mannoroth having hit and haste and being a fast oh is really good for rage generation. Personally, I'd value that over the arp on MV.
But if you're in that sweet spot where MV arp is letting you wear 2x mongoose on 6200 armor bosses then I could see MV being a bit better. Ultimately, plug it into a sim with your current gear and they'll probably end up very close.
I didn't even see that get looted...where did that weapon pop up from???

I don't know why everyone is crying about GDKP so much. Do you guys not understand that if you have a fixed group of people who play in a GDKP the money only switches hands temporarily? The total pot might get boosted by a few oilers who buy gold but you don't have to buy gold to get in.

@@eh7602 Obviously man, which is most people. That's why nobody wants to come back and play TBC; they can't. They grind to level 70 solo because everyones buying boosts, they hit 70, and they can't raid because everyones doing GDKP. It's bad for the game.
@@Solaxer I'm not sure about TBC but I played on Gehennas in classic and even though I started playing again in p4 and made a new character I was doing GDKP's within a month or 2. It's mostly a matter of networking and if you join a decent guild or meet some people through chat they will often give you a shot at joining the GDKPs.
But I have to admit that I never got into TBCC because of this for the most part. The boosting meta, the closed circles, toxicity etc. was more than prevalent in classic and I had enough of it.

You know what's fked up? That sword is only like a 5 dps upgrade... Last weapon in the expansion and the tier belt for pallies gives more dps
It is more than that though. Biggest reason for belt, wrist and boots being so good is purely the expertise. Once you have that you can basically stack as much stats as possible on all the other gear pieces.

Sword dropped last weekend for 38k in my run
those bracers are so good you will use them most likely at 80 too. i did it at least no the p-server i play
they’re really good at 70 but they’ll get replaced fast by 187 dungeon blues
@@brandonkruse6412 nope. There are no other bracers with hit crit and arp + gem socket. You may miss stamina sinc ethry don't have any but the rest is just insane.

Not exactly true. I don’t understand how people don’t understand how gdkps work.
You get paid a lot with the splits, when you get outbid so you stack gold and it evens out. I have over 70k and I haven’t bought gold whatsoever, the only time I did was back in classic lvl 60 phase 1 where I bought like 2k to help me pay for the mats for sulfuron hammer when I got the Eye from Rag.
I wonder how he got that 40 k gold hmmmmm........ sure was not buyed over some shady site

Most GDKPs split the gold among the players depending on how high their DPS is. Tanks usually get a standard fee same for heals and the organiser usually makes 10%.
Well, raiding has nothing to do with gold buying, this is not raiding, this is trading.
