    A friend commissioned me to make this sweater for her and she loved the results. Thank you taking the intimidation out of sweater making for me. It's the first sweater where I have actually been happy with the end product. I'll be making more of your designs in the future.

    Hay Carrie......I absolutely love this... sweater... I am going to make one of these...🤔🤔..maybe... for myself🤔... your instructions are wonderful....I happen to be a ... big ol granny... so I’ll need to make it larger and I’m not very talented so hopefully you’ll have instructions for larger sizes ... I’m not able to read written patterns so even with stitch count... I don’t always know when and how many... to make adjustments to larger sizes... I know... that’s sad... but that’s me... I see .. I do....so again ty so much

    This is awesome, thank you! But you did not include buttons or any closures....?
    But I suppose I could work that out by just slip-stitching three stitches in the ribbing along the inside, every three inches, then making buttons (or buying them) and attaching them to correspond.
    Also, pockets could be added by simply making two oblong patches and sewing them. OR, seam-pockets could also be added if a 6" gap is left when sewing along outside seam. Then using muslin or cotton fabric for the inside fabric, just sew two pieces together and join along the gap in the seam to form a pocket.

    Sorry to ask

    • @Ellie.J.R.4628
      @Ellie.J.R.4628 2 года назад +1

      It would be possible… I have done other cardigans with buttons so I don’t see why not. Just decide how many buttons you want on your cardigan decided on the space between each button and on your ribbing do a chain 2 skip 2 for your buttons holes. Hope this helps.

    Hi Carrie. I have a question about the number of ribbing rows. You said to crochet until 19 inches, but then to crochet 64 singles stitches, would you not need 64 rows of ribbing then? If I need 64 rows of ribbing then the cardigan will be way too big. Thank You

    • @Ellie.J.R.4628
      @Ellie.J.R.4628 2 года назад
