This Airacomet has M2 HMGs plus a 37mm derp HEF launcher, more versatile than most Germans and Axis planes in general have.
@@andrehashimoto8056 dude MG 151s are some of the best CAS weapons, you can kill Russian APCs like BMP and Obj 906 and Anything with under 20mm engine deck armor like every British MBT and since the HE shells have SO much explosive effect you can ammo rack open top tanks like the M36 and M19. I just killed a Vickers MBT by taking out his engine with 151s i doubt it would be that easy with even 50 cals since they don't do that much damage. You're insane if you don't think Mg 151s are the best guns for planes and better than .50s at CAS, practice makes perfect just shoot anything that isn't an American heavy or medium and you should do great with Mg 151s. Also i only use air targets so you don't even need to change ammo to be effective at CAS.
@@alex941126 I disagree, the He 162 picks up speed very slowly,but loses it very quickly, and the props it faces are better at every aspect besides the max speed maybe, which you dont even reach befor fighting ensues in a normal battle and it starts loosing speed rapidly

The F6F and this plane have almost the exact same play style and flight performance. Big wings for insane instant turn, meh top speed and acceleration, pretty solid low speed performance(to a point).
Yeah this is a presumption but it's probably not good at altitudes you probably are gonna wanna keep it on the lower end of medium altitudes because most jets dont have very good high altitude performance especially these early jets
A plane outturning japanese planes is all you need to know in order to draw the conclusion, that Gaijin doesn't use anything but the skin and name of the real P-59. What else you need to see that this is another nail in the coffin of Rank IV Axis. To calm your excitement: P-59A is going to get boring real quick and the things it can pull off is the stuff of Arcade Flight Models. Gaijin being Soviet pricks and not adhering to history. No Wonder they cut historical from the name of prezent RB mode.
I'm an aeronautical engineer by education. I don't know much about the P-59s performance data from flight tests, but, like every aeronautical engineer worthy of their title, I can guess the performance of this plane by its appearance. This plane's maneuverability is totally justified. Low wing loading means that at high G's, it produces far less induced drag than its contemporaries. This allows it to maintain its energy, despite the fact that it has low thrust. With its combination of low thrust and a large wing area, you essentially have a jet that will always have a moderate to low specific excess power, but will not degrade that excess power much when it turns.
the problem with this plane is that it is so weird and rare that 95% of people dont know how to fight it, because when you see a jet you think Fast, doest turn, climbs well. and the p59 is the exact oposite.
@Deus Vult Um, what? These tasks are way better than the "build the vehicle" events, not to mention it takes me MAX about 1 1/2 hours to do the air tasks. That's 45 minutes for 2 days, but I've done the air tasks before in 40 minutes. The ground tasks though, they are more time consuming, but you were talking about the P-59 so that's besides the point. This event is one of the easiest grinds ever.

In my opinion the German mid tiers need buffs. For example the Do 335 can barely go above 650 at 7000m. This shouldn't be. It was by far the fastest prop of the war. Or the He 162. It is such a bad plane it needs to get more downtiers. Or the 262. It shouldn't face exclusively other Post war Jets but instead props. The Rocket assisted one is a different story

He got it from gajijn and to grind i use 4.7 usa tanks line up M6a1 m4a1 76 and p 47 d 25 worked well for me You can also use 3.7 usa , there are many options but this worked for me as a US player

@@brycewalker7797 I'm not Spit_flyer, but I think I've found an efficient method. I use the first P-63, SB2C-1c, P-47D-28, P-47D-25, and F4U-1d in air arcade battles. I myself am not an arcade player, but with this it takes me at least 40 minutes to get the Mark of Distinction, although I'm good with fighters. The longest it has taken me is about 1 hour 10 mins. The 3 tasks I go after are 7 assists, 11 kills in 1 match, and the 35 total kills. For the assists, just get a crit and leave the enemy alone. Hopefully a teammate will come by to kill them.
I remember it otherwise. I play the A6M5 and P59s were always trying to outurn me and getting their wings ripped off with 20mms because its massive wing

Ignore 37mm and go for 50 cals? 3x50cals? XD, they dont do anything, the power of 50cals is in number, even germans have more 20/30mm. If u want good 50cals, u take 0.3 lower F-82 with 6xM3 12mm and 8xM2 12mm that gives more mass fired kg/s than top tier jets.
The thing you are not doing right is using the amazing cannon this thing has, and you should not always rely on the 50 cals. to do the job, if you can use the cannon better you can have a blast ;)

Well, it had 6.0 on dev server, then they changed it's BR to 5.3. Actually, i think 5.3 is good BR for P-59. You just need to learn basics of energy fighting and you've won the fight. It can be balanced plane - sometimes very good, sometimes terrible, most of the times average.
How about IL-2M being abel to dance like a fighter despite having a 48 sec turn radies. and its sad german counter part the hs.129 having simulera stats though almost half the turn time and it handels worse then most heavy bombers
This plane is a Fucking disaster. First of all it is nothing like ist real life counterpart. It is 80km/h faster than it should be. It is way to maneuverable and the pilot is barely affected by the high G's it pulls. The cruise speed is well above that of many props and 5.3 is a joke. The He162 sits at 6.3 and should be this plane's competitior. The Me262 is a WW2 military jet that faced P-51 D-10's and D-20's and we got 2 post war P-,51's like the D-30 and H-5 that only face WW2 Axis planes you got AD-4's and Wyverns that already started a stupid trend of putting Axis against postwar and even Korean War planes. This plane should not be in the game. On top of that Axis doesn't get the Fw190 A-9 with the 2500HP engine as to not upset the status quo. It would run down this jet. It would run down the P-51 and the Typhoon and P-47 yet apparently the P-59 is more important. Rank IV Germany faces 6.0-6.3-6.7 Allied planes non-stop. Now they get a jet that is 5.3. You got these youtubers lying their souls to damnation as to not upset Gaijin. All these youtubers aren't anything closet to good pilots in the game or not even amateur aviation historians. And just Because they are somewhat public figurs, doesn't mean they are to be trusted Because they are lying about this jet here. Do Some research and do not swallow everything this guy says. This video is lies, the only thing that is true is this P-59 is a BS plane doing crazy shit it is not supposed to do.

So iirc the he 162 has way better speed and energy retention. The 162 could probably be 6.0 with the yak 15p but the 162 would probably cream the P-59 in a dogfight

Well, it had 6.0 on dev server, then they changed it's BR to 5.3. Actually, i think 5.3 is good BR for P-59. You just need to learn basics of energy fighting and you've won the fight. It can be balanced plane - sometimes very good, sometimes terrible, most of the times average.
I dont think it's good enough for 6.0 honestly. It performs like a 5.3

This plane is a Fucking disaster. First of all it is nothing like ist real life counterpart. It is 80km/h faster than it should be. It is way to maneuverable and the pilot is barely affected by the high G's it pulls. The cruise speed is well above that of many props and 5.3 is a joke. The He162 sits at 6.3 and should be this plane's competitior. The Me262 is a WW2 military jet that faced P-51 D-10's and D-20's and we got 2 post war P-,51's like the D-30 and H-5 that only face WW2 Axis planes you got AD-4's and Wyverns that already started a stupid trend of putting Axis against postwar and even Korean War planes. This plane should not be in the game. On top of that Axis doesn't get the Fw190 A-9 with the 2500HP engine as to not upset the status quo. It would run down this jet. It would run down the P-51 and the Typhoon and P-47 yet apparently the P-59 is more important. Rank IV Germany faces 6.0-6.3-6.7 Allied planes non-stop. Now they get a jet that is 5.3. You got these youtubers lying their souls to damnation as to not upset Gaijin. All these youtubers aren't anything closet to good pilots in the game or not even amateur aviation historians. And just Because they are somewhat public figurs, doesn't mean they are to be trusted Because they are lying about this jet here. Do Some research and do not swallow everything this guy says.
