- Hollow Block Maker in the Philippines. Filipino Jobs.
Village People Philippines is a channel created by a group of Filipinos to present to the World, what is real everyday life for many Filipino people.
Village People Philippines will focus mainly on two extended Filipino families who despite being financially poor, remain culturally rich. Proud Filipino families happy and content, enjoying the fruits of their own efforts and hard work. Not looking for donations, just the opportunity to share their lives and make new friends.
Many other village people have expressed a desire to also share their life stories and experiences, many of which would have otherwise never been remembered or heard. Herbal healing, superstitious beliefs, witch craft, gold panning and other activities will also be featured on the channel, as will videos of parties, festival and fiestas.
It's neat to see various ways of making hollow block. Different areas make them with different techniques.
I like this video, right up my alley of interesting things I like watching, thank you VPP.
Nice share!
Thanks very much for your excellent video...
Can't wait to watch more of your great videos. Thank you and regards!
Thank you so much Ned, best regards ❤
People need to start thinking about using other building materials than hollow blocks. Why not timber, clay bricks, treated bamboo or steel frames?
At that price, those blocks certainly do serve as a very affordable building material even with rebar and strong cement fill. I've notice a lot of homes don't immediately use a finish coat due to the added expense. I wonder how the tensile/compression strength of bamboo compares? If typhoons or earthquakes are the bigger threat to the structural integrity of the walls?
Nice job mam because of your vlog tutorial I got some knowledge from you so.............
Great
So nice!
No wonder why the blocks have large variations. They stacked them and they are not even cured yet.
Hollow blocks here in the Philippinrs are only in fill not load bearing
These kind of hollow blocks easily break. No compression applied. Much more if there is not enough cement.
These kind only serve as a form, no strength on it so the mix to fill in and the rendering should be classA to get the strength.
He only used 1/2 a bag of cement. Also at 1:03 he needs to lift with his knees, not his back. Thanks for the video.
Nice 😍😍😍🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍👍
140 blocks per bag of cement? Blocks are garbage , they will break just touching them. 50 blocks per bag of cement is good blocks.
60 blocks for 1 cement is better and stronger. if you make 140 thats very weak and crumbles
Wat is the exact cement : sand ratio to make around 60 blocks po?
They are not concrete blocks who fits molasses in a concrete is firm molasses goes into food the reason I found my losses and because I'm not using enough cement to make it more sticky
Small medium but very fast and produce a quantity of bricks
I never knew how they are made.
They are not like structural blocks in the West, hollow blocks here are not load bearing. We will feature a manual block maker in the future.
I'm building blocks in my country, I'm looking for the right mixing to build proper quality blocks.... can you help me out ?
the mixer is a little bit slow
you need a faster one i blieve
I wouldn't use those blocks. Their strength must be minimal, with so little cement and water used. I wonder if there are any building material standards he has to comply with.
These are just the class C holloe blocks.
Not enough cement, wonder if you can custom order the mix. I've seen the quality of the blocks and they are very weak.
I don't know if that's because they fill them and coat them during construction or it's just to cut the cost, but I've seen a lot of blocks that just fall apart during construction.
Over here we use clay bricks, not sure which is better.
You can custom order the mix.
Go for Jackbilt brand blocks or make them your self
You can always custom order the mix, in this video it is the standard mixing being shown. The price of the CHB varies though, depends on the ratio you’ve ordered.
Watch out he Portland cement ratio to sand and gravel. Some will use 120 ratio. That’s One sack of cement for every 120 blocks! This is garbage blocks, you can break them by squeezing them.60 blocks to one bag of cement gives a good block.
BDR CHRIST I agree, the mix in my mind needs more cement. Personally I use a 3-2-1 4500PSI on all my construction projects and I am well aware ALL hollow blocks have no load bearing capacity. I have however seen videos of foreigners using hollow blocks as retaining walls. LOL One should consider hollow blocks as just fill between the columns and beams of a building.
I am also want to start this plant, 😍😍😍

@@angelajiang8949 block machine how much price is madam?
@@angelajiang8949 ma'am may I ask the sand measurement in one bag of cement and what is that molasis where we can buy it
I prefer to make my own blocks 4` and 6` = 1030 psi each.
Hello, sir. I am a civil engineering student currently doing a thesis paper about CHB. I would like to ask a few questions po if you don't mind. Thank you.
@@NobleChristine Sir pm me,
I totally agree with you because you're supposed to be a concrete hollow block that's not how you make concrete you're better off getting your own more than doing it yourself
That is what you call spreading it thin, That is 2 many blocks for just 1 bag of cement, that's why a lot of the break or crumble and also to dry mix. James
I think the molasses are holding them together more than the cement. 😀
I know for a fact how it is there, we are buying a house in Bacolod City, and go to the Philippines every 2 years, my wife's mother is staying at our house there. James
We have a hollow block machine and building our house in Calubian Leyte and making 45 blocks to a bag
140 hollow blocks in one bag of cement is to mch..
Maybe 140 chb per bag.but for my business is only 100 chb per bag.you can watch my video, how to make and mix quality hollow blocks, and how to start small business
kung hindi ka taga NCR,pahingi naman ng mixture sa pag gawa ng hollow blocks.thanks and god bless, can you send it to tonierika@yahoo.com?
Pls let me know maam the ratio. Tnx
grabe oh..sa dami ng sand, half bag lang ng cement ang nilagay.. makikita mo sa ika 1:17 mins ng video..then in the rest of the video, hindi na idinagdag ung other half bag of cement na natira...kaya maraming mga hollow blocks ngaun na handling palang, nawawasak na o nababasag na agad..because of that..
saan pwede maka pagawa nang ganyan klasing machine
this easily damage because the good quality of hollow blocks is one sack of cement should be 70 hollow blocks not 140 OMG!
This is the type c po use as receptacles lang not load bearing, type A is 45 blocks to a sack and type B is what you said po
What is your ratio between sand and cement and how u arrived at 4php/pc?
The price I quoted was the price I paid per piece when i buy at that time for my projects.
I LOVE HOW IT MADE BUT THE MIXING RATIO IS BAD 140 PCS OF FINISHED PRODUCTS. SHOULD BE 50-60 PCS IN 1 BAG.
Commercial made, thats why. If u want your own ratio make it 45 to 50 per bag not bad at all.
Better 30 pcs on 1 bag...
Dapat may molasses talaga, kaya pala yong ginawa ng worker namin hindi strong yong hollow blocks. Need molasses daw. Nice video.👍
I think they use molasses to get more blocks out of one bag of cement. A lot of people have found this video interesting, thanks for the support.
Sa pampnga, dau dna kmi nagllagay molases.un sang bag cement nkka palabas kmi 170pcs,#4chb.malagkit kc ang sand may lahar kc...
What if sahara ang i-mix instead of molasses?
John Dennis Perez
Sahara is for water-profing & makes the mix sticky like gum making it heavy & difficult to mix & handle
Mao ni hollow block nga kon ipospos sa ulo sa karatecian pulpog dayon kay tiaw bay 140 pcs mahimo sa usa ka sako. Luoyas balay nga himuon ani.
Whoaaa... Yes if you want porous and fragile!
1 x 50kg bag of PC, I would have said makes 50 hollow blocks (give or take 5-10).
Factors like the buildings height/no. of floors etc (reg'd compression strength) I would say are a big factor when choosing, or rather insisting upon the appropriate mix ratio.
In any event, rebar reinforcement (both vertical and lateral) and concrete infill of holes would prove a sound measure for any hollow block house I built in Phils
I was surprised at the mix is well, but I was there to observe, not to instruct. I do however consider the blocks having no load bearing abilities and just something to work from. You are 100% correct you need rebar reinforcement and concrete infill of holes. Plus a good rendering inch to an inch and half of strong cement (3 sand to 1 cement) mix render. I have seen situations outside in the past where the blocks have weathered leaving nothing but the concrete infill, interesting sight. Blocks I have used in the past come from a supplier who uses a stronger mix.
Although you get it, I have seen such blocks used by one for structural purposes with one single rebar in the concrete as a tie beam in the base and even the columns built out of hollow blocks. Waiting for them to build the second floor as we all know what is going to happen.
Maam saan po nakakabili ng ganitong machine?
Magkano kaya ngaun ang machine ng hallowblock? Ty poh sa maka sagot
I think cassava starch is better than molasses, what is the use óf molasses anyway, starch will bind the sand because ít looks like a pure wet sand.
The reason they're putting molasses and it's very sticky because I'm not using enough cement molasses you put in foodstuff it is a sugary treacle
7peso..!but my town P12.00
Grabe mag isa lng sya
hoy mga nagrereklamo jan.gawa nalang kayo ng sarili nyo.mind your own business.
Nice,
SAN po ma'am nakaka bili nang molasses,

The price depends on the availability and the cost of the materials being used to make a machine in your place Nubi Yao, here in my place it is around 30K to 40K, the #4 and #6 hollow blocks machine. While the One Bagger Mixer is around 100K to 120K.
An English that called a pan mixer
Hi ma'am how about the strength?
Obviously this mix is not so strong , its for commercial selling but they also do different class on their mixes with different prices too.
Kanino po pwede mag inquire at saan po ang yard nito sa northern luzon
Cebu City po ito sir, sorry no idea po dyan sa inyong area.

Some big hardwares nationwide carry this product but in Cebu it is fabricated in Talisay City cost around 10-15k I was told.

Hardwork but poor quality. Sayang pera . Cemento pa more
140 is way too much...
Class C po to meron po silang class A and B medyo konti nalang sa isang sako ng cement
Is not a 1sack of c3ment,I saw the vedio its just a half sacks of cement,,kaya pala marupok ang mga halow block sa pinas sobrang tipid sa cemento,, hindi pa masyadong sik sik ang pg gawa sa hurmahan, marupok
I am looking at this personally and I am also using these for my construction projects on my own, so hindi sya marupok at sik sik po what you see na half sack was the remaining half they put on top of the mix.
Mas mabuti you make your own, this is the commercial type available, you buy the mixing machine and the block shaping machine so you can have the strength you want. Simple
Kulang a ata Sa semento
i agree with you po, molasses lang ang nag hold sa porma nito, but this is their class C hollowblocks po, meron pa sila mas mataas na quality class A and B. ty
Saan makakabili ng molasses
