I am 64 years old, been gigging for over 50 years, and have seen almost all of the best bands perform, and I think this may be the best live performance I have ever seen by anyone. Just stunning. Just stunning.
I heard that! Like you, I'm rapidly closing in on my 65th birthday, have been singing and playing gigs since my teens, and have seen many of the greatest acts of our era perform, but Gary Moore just took everything to a whole other level! "Spellbinding" is how I'd put it, positively spellbinding. There will never be another Gary Moore. People used to talk about someone being "the next Hendrix," "the next Clapton," or later, "the next Joe Satriani," but there will never be a "the next Gary Moore," because there could only ever be the one. He was just that singular, and that truly exceptional, that nobody could ever touch him. Or at least, that's how I see it, anyway. (YMMV.)😉

Fantastic!!! The best guitarrist of all time, the best vocalist ever. There is no other: he will be the greatest of all time. We will miss him forever.
He was the whole deal. Said more with one note than other guitarist could with 2 dozen. You can hear the emotion in every note. Proof that you don't have to play fast to play well (though he had the technical skills to do both and did!). And the tone he gets is right up there with Santana. While known for his guitar playing his vocals are second to none. Too many vocalist swallow their consonants leaving you asking, "what did he say?", but not Gary. You can hear and understand every word and they are sung with the same emotion as his guitar playing. He will be missed but lives on in his music which will stand up through the ages. One of the greats, if not the best. And kudos to the person who mixed the sound for this video.... excellent job.
The time's goes by but this sing, this solo still be the best love song of all time. If you don't get goosebumps listening to this song, you're not human!
I saw him live. I’ve never been the same…. That ax is his soul.. I’ve commented b4; but it really holds that much pure love in this spiritual way to me. GOODEBUMPS GARY. R.I.P. Have MERRY CHRISTMAS! ✨👊🏾😈
Used to be so easy to give my heart away. But I found out the hard way, There''s a price you have to pay. I found out that love was no friend of mine. I should have known time after time. So long, it was so long ago, But I've still got the blues for you. Used to be so easy to fall in love again. But I found out the hard way, It''s a road that leads to pain. I found that love was more than just a game. You're playin'' to win, but you lose just the same. So long, it was so long ago, But I've still got the blues for you. Though the days come and go, There is one thing I know. I''ve still got the blues for you.
Haven't listened to this song for years and years. Pulled me right back to days when I followed Gary as he traveled his roads. Most seem to remember him solely for his guitar masterpieces; but I also thought he was a great vocalist as well. Put together, remains as unbelievable as ever. Rest in peace. I'll reach heaven one day and can't wait to hear you ripping it live once again.
I cannot listen to this song without tears...ever! It's just so perfectly beautiful! Gary makes that guitar sing and then there is that voice of his...emotion on emotion! Rest easy Gary and thanks for the great music you left us!
LyricsTV Deutschland, You are EXACTLY right, Gary Moore, in my opinion is up there with Hendrix, BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughn, as someone else wrote, Every Note is played with his Heart and Soul. Gary Moore left us too soon!♥️♥️♥️ Take care, Melbourne, Australia.
Потрясающий и неповторимый. Совершенно естественный. Обаятельный. Единственный в своём даре. Божественный грешник. Великолепный в своём естестве. Он был уникальным и близким каждому. Гений.
Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues (Live at Hammersmith Odeon) [HD]. Ainda bem, que existem "arquivos e a História" para nos remeter direto aos anos 60, 70, 80 e 90. Obra prima!
👏👏 Performed live 33 years ago and imo (I’m almost 70) Gary basically ‘owns’ THIS song. I can’t count the # of other guitarists/vocalists that I’ve heard/watched do this one, and while they weren’t really poor, and many were good, Gary still stands out as one of the top 🎸 🎤’s!
Gary Moore wrenched every single drop of beauty out of those strings. He belongs in the elite ranks. One could easily make a strong case for Gary Moore as the Greatest Of All Time.
