Hi total nerd, this is a pretty good breakdown, in regards Professor X imo what happened to him was that he developed Krakoa plans as a last resort, I also partially agree with you on the whole redskull thing in regards to messing him up, but I will add in to his encounter he had with the ShadowKing that led up to him taking over FantomeX's body, Iirc Professor X was battling the ShadowKing for a thousand years in the Astral Plane I believe that to really did mess him up and at the very least making his morality alignment more grey, after these two incidents of absolute hell that he went through, I think he just said "fuck it" and started Krakoa, also another thing I will mention was that I believe there was an interview that happened where it was stated that Professor X was still inhabiting FantomeX's body until he was assassinated hence The FantomeX one-shot comic that happened, which I found really interesting.
