Now I’m not a fan of Hickman’s direction in the comics, but I have to admit these versions of the characters are iconic or at least will be. I’ll probably just get Marvel Girl for the Giant Size team, and maybe Charles just for the nostalgia it’ll bring ten years from now

Yeah, the more known characters of the wave are in those modern classic costumes that look cool, but Omega Sentinel sells herself based on kickass action figure alone, makes me want to know more.

For me the wolverine figure is kind of the stand out of the wave. They nailed the look from the book pretty well. Everyone thinks omega sentinel is the best but the wolverine to me is so sick. I know it's mostly reuse but the color scheme is so good. The painted arm hair, the alternate head. He's awesome.

This wave is one I'm mostly gonna pass on, though I said that for the AOA wave, but I really wanted that Sugar Man BAF just for the uniqueness of him, though the Tri-Sentinel does not tempt me nearly as much. Might grab Moira to put next to Xavier, and I'm kinda tempted by Omega Sentinel, just 'cause she's damn cool looking.
Here I am wondering what the hell can I watch, open RUclips, and Robo is all like "BOOM YOU LOOKING FOR THIS?!"
Moira would be the perfect figure to customise as a Betty Ross

This Tri-Sentinel looks like 3 angels mashed together.
House of X was the start of my collection of Marvel Legends X-Men figures. I remember I picked up a wolverine figure, charles xaiver and cyclops figure for my birthday and started to collect and sell some figures. I still have the wolverine figure but i sold my cyclops figure to get the Xmen 97 version that i prefered and my charles xaiver figure is now a mix of the hover chaor charles xaiver with the head of the house of x figure of xsiver. Its a very grear collection so far and i would love to expand more once i got more time
Cyclops has been my favorite since I was a child and first saw him in the cartoon, I thought he looked so cool.

Regarding House of X Logan's happy smile, I think it's appropriate. Wolverine editor Mark Basso recently said "It’s no secret that Logan has been a lone wolf for many years, but Krakoa seems to be bringing out a softer side of the man formerly known as Weapon X. He’s been spending more time with Jean…but did everyone see him and Storm together sampling the Blightness during the X OF SWORDS tournament? A tender moment between friends or shades of things to come…?"

I like the improvements they're making with the hips on older body molds. The Sunfire and now Bucky Cap went from barley doing 45 degrees to full splits and I'm on board all the way.
Now they need to do a King in Black wave with Knull as the BAF. And the wave HAS to be ONLY symbiotes

For the Xavier, the pizza spidey body’s ab crunch has become super tight recently. You just have to push it pretty hard to make it go the full range.
That usually breaks it on the side, when you crunch it all the way look at the side seam
The alternate head design for Omega Sentinel goes back to House of M. If Hasbro had gotten her hair and skin color right, it would have been perfect, because the sculpt is spot on. Like you said, Robo. It's a shame.

I love all this whole wave, the modern X-men comics are some of my favorites in years. I just wish Wolverine came with some normal hands, that's always something I want with Logan figures. I just want to have him hanging out in a bar scene or something

Man... If they go and give us the Roy Thomas/Neal Adam era Iceman, Beast and Angel now. I might tear up. Heck! Throw a Mimic in while they're at it! And yes, please reissue Cyclops. I'd hate to have to track down a second one if we end up getting those second generation founding five suits.

Yeah, the way some panels are setup they come out tiny. I finally got a Tablet that's the size of a comic page so it feels a lot more natural. After I finish all these Star Wars comics I missed it's on to X-Men!

Omega sentinel has something that I thought NO marvel legends would ever have: minimal thigh gap! It can be done-hasbro just decided to do it now.
That's because of the 45 degree hips.
I ordered 2 of the Professor x's purely to use as bodies for customizing.
I love the wolverine suit, I’m making a Jim lee style modern x men display, basically taking out characters who wear trunks or no pants and sub in a modern version, so pretty much Logan, cyclops and colossus, I hope they do house of x storm, I think it’s her best suit ever
Here a few years late planning on a custom, can Moira’s glasses be removed? If so, are there any holes/ filler to be worked around?

I don't collect Marvel Legends for the most part anymore, but still love the video. I do like Marvel Girl and Moira, but the rest don't do anything for me. Like you said, there are more waves on the horizon.

Wish gwen had come with those alternate arms as well, and not overly impressed with the jean grey especially her being so short compared to the other jean figures.
My favorite Omega Sentinel story is "Supernovas" a team that Rogue leads that includes her, Cable, Iceman, Mystique, Lady Mastermind, Cannonball, and Sabretooth. That is the origin of the Children of the Vault and Omega was an X-Woman at the time.

Does Moira's skintone match well enough to Gwen/MJ's to put the MJ head in her? I pre-ordered mine for that sole reason lol and just eyeballing it on video, they look pretty different.

I'm curious, does the tentacle joint in the head, have the same size that plugs into the chest? could the tentacle be removed, and plugged in flipped so that the head can sit upright on the chest?

I'm not familiar with this story or these character designs so I will skip this wave, but there are some things I do like about it. I wish we got that Magneto head sculpt with the family matters 3-pack since I think this one looks WAY better than either of the ones we got in that set. The new Wolverine looks great but I'm more than happy with the ones I have and I agree about the swappable arms not being with the Gwen figure is a real shame, especially since that was 2 characters in one, so if anything we needed it way more there than here.

I'm considering getting this just because it's the closest thing to a classic brown suit Wolverine that's in my budget. The Juggernaut wave one and retro carded one both go for crazy money and while I have the series 6 one it's just getting too old and janky to fit in with my display alongside the newer Hasbro figures. This is pretty much the same costume from the waist up so I'm giving it some serious thought. How easy would it be to customise it into a classic 80s look?
Are the glasses on the Moira figure removable?

Are Cyclop's gauntlets sculpted on or are they separate pieces?
The only ones i am interested are the white magneto (just because im a sucker for characters in white), and moira to switch the arms out, and put the MJ head that came with the retro Gwen Stacy to have as an MJ. Great review!
Magneto would make a great kitbash Phantomex. The arms need to be swapped out though.

I picked up Magneto with his new look was cool looking wish now I picked up marvel girl but was ok with passing on the rest
I guess the Charles figure is on the vulture body with different arms then cause that figure’s articulation sucks the same way in the torso
I’ve decided I’m just trying to collect sentinels and have set out to complete this set for the tri sentinel, I’ve already got omega sentinel and nimrod (which came with psyloche and some ninja guy I don’t know) but if anyone has any recs for other cool sentinel figures let me know
The magneto helmet I’m pretty sure is reuse from the alternate calm head from the Amazon 3 pack

also what cyclops should i get i am trying too build the jim lee xmen but there over priced and jean and jubilee are being released again soon in the vhs tape boxes so i cannot wait for those . but cyclops debating on getting theh ouse off m for the beam effect or pay 604 or 100$ for jim lee cyclops on the right in the video i grew up with jim lee blue and gold 90s team but i like the house of x version he is cheaper too get .
I’ve got the Mafex cyclops which you can increase the height to make him work with your marvel legends

It's what they've used for years. And yeah, it's fine, but I'd like something taller.
Honestly, with all the re-use, paint jobs not being the cleanest, and the baf being cool but a bit cumbersome, I gotta give this wave a 6 out of 10. Cool characters in it for sure, but the execution on some of them could have been better. I still hate that the femal bodies are so limited. Black Series does does a little bit better, Power Ranger line is better than both, but the GI joes line by far with only two release (and a third coming) has made the best female action figures. Man the third one is going to have double jointed elbows. DOUBLE JOINTED! Something I thought a Hasbro female figure would never have.
You should do a colossus BAF video, this one was awesome, definitely would have liked them to put the black straps on magnetos boots.
