A computer generates these slideshows with voice simulation to earn lots of ad revenue. There's no point in telling it about errors. The information is not checked for accuracy; the money has been made from you, and a machine doesn't care. The sad thing is that people are subscribing to a computer, without realising what they are doing.

You missed that one in Guam . They land going up hill and take off going down hill and off a cliff . Many GIs flew in and out of there in the 60's . It's a rollercoaster ride . You can feel it when you go over the cliff the air hits the bottom of the plane and up you go, with balls-a- tingling' .

Out of all those airports, Gilbrato International is the safest!! At least they got a stoplight and guard post to warn the people a plane coming in.

And besides, Gibraltar airport has been like that for decades now. With a population of around 35,000 people living on Gibraltar, everybody living there grows up knowing how to treat the airport. They don't need big heavy barriers at the crossings. And there have been no near misses as the video says. It's actually a very safe airport compared to other "secure" airports.

I am from Honduras, where the Toncontin airport is located. Yes, the airport is somewhat dangerous but not too much. My sister was a flight attendant for 13 years on 737's and she is still with us. Yes, the pilots must practice a bit but there are many landings everyday by American, Continental, Avianca and other airlines. The airstrip was extended 300 meters so it is even safer now.

As a pilot let me correct the terminology used in this youtube video.
When the narrator says highly skilled, you can replace that word with crazy.
In addition to being highly skilled, the pilot needs to be a little bit crazy as not to panic and keep calm while landing a large jet doing about 150 mph.
Factoid, these pilots are usually the most friendly and cool people to hang out with.

well, the Antwerp airport in Belgium had a special feat until recently. There's a road right behind the runway where traffic lights signals the regular traffic to stop when an airplaine is about to land or take off. Me, being adventurous and going to school every day long ago, I ignored the red signal multiple times with interesting results, no harm though. Just the illusion of danger. I didn't cross though when a jet engine would take off, they are usually with propellers.

Actually the shortest commercial runway belongs to Outer Skerries in Scotland (OUK). It’s runway has a length of 1,195 ft or 364 meters. I can’t find much information about the airport so I don’t know if the airport is in use. If it’s not in use, then the shortest commercial runway belongs to Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport In Saba which measures 1,312 ft or 400 meters. Also, Matekane Air Strip in Lesotho measures 1,312 ft or 400 meters. So it’s clear that the person or persons who made this video didn’t bother to do much research. There are other inaccurate information in this video.

Lukla is safer than Tribhuwan International Airport of Kathmandu . TIA must be the most unsafe major Airport in the world with heavy traffic . Around 130000 planes a year in 3050m long runway . Taxiway is very close to the runway and has length only one half of the runway . All Domestic , International and military flights takes place through same runway .
