I like Copilot's tie-in with GitHub repository. However, I'm not a user of VS Code for Python. Bard or ChatGPT have worked well for me on all Python code related issues (so far): code suggestions, creating small samples, error analyses, commenting, and refactoring. Takes an extra couple of seconds to copy/paste, though. Not perfect, best for code snippets and chunks but can't beat the price.

Yes, I'm not a big fan of VS Code either; however, GitHub Copilot is a real time-saver sometimes - so I've started using VS Code more and more over PyCharm. The copy & paste method with ChatGPT is also fine but gets annoying after a while :D

If you’re coding for money, then it’s a no brainer to spend $10 a month to save yourself tens of hours of time.
