@@matgiuse I know it's been three years, but I believe he's actually playing accurately enough to cover up the original drums. If you really strain you'll hear the clicks miss by milliseconds on some of the rim hits.

tornados2111 dude if you can play this after a month, then you're some kind of prodigy. Chris Collis is a fuckin drum master and time signatures are some bad ass stuff to mess with
definitely not even close to playing it after even a few months but it is a goal :D yes, he sure is a master. Got to meet him recently at a concert and he said he'd be organising skype sessions soon. One can wish
tornados2111 haha yeah I was gonna say there's no way. The Collis brothers are cool dudes and if you get a Skype lesson with Chris, make sure you have an idea of what you'd like him to teach you. I'd personally suggest time signatures. The way he seamlessly moves from one to another is incredible. Some of their songs have over 20 time changes and if you can learn something like that, you can play with some interesting bands
Maša Alihodžić cheers dude! Um, I guess just listen to as much music as you can man. Take your influences from as many different places as possible. Then experiment with everything. Get your Rudiments down too. Big help :)
Marco Lopez I made sure that any little differences in the patterns (particularly the Tom parts with clicks) were done exactly as the track. So if there was a little tweak in the pattern, I did that tweak. Was hard remembering them all in order as there are a few minor bits here and there that change and was shot as full takes 😂
Hey Pedro! I am using the Mapex Black Panther Piccolo Snare. It's called The Stinger. I wouldn't normally have used in this kind of track but it just sounded great.

Great sound man. Not that it sounds bad, but the rim on your snare sounds interesting. Is it just the mic not picking it up as clearly?
