I wonder if Traxxas will make a tilt bed upgrade in the future, seems like it should have that to begin with though.
It's Traxxas, they love making people buy expensive option/upgrade parts that should be standard on most of their already expensive rigs.

Awesome platform I'm getting one from a local Hobby shop & immediately after a few runs putting dulley's on the rear axles, all the tow gear, wench, emergency led light bar, see about a clear body kit & find or figure out a rollback ram set up, thank's for sharing Mark 😉👍

I mean the bed should really operate… if not electronically then at least manually. You know Traxxas has a hefty ticket on this one!
In my case I could definitely see myself not using it as a hauler to actually carry a car, but to pull a trailer with my crawler on it. I see myself using the bed of that truck to load a portable parts stash and tools and spare batteries and what not. Maybe even a solar panel to charge batteries! More like a moving garage, let's say... I guess I'm not the only one imagining something of the sort... At most on top of the parts and bits, add a scx24? But not a big deal
At least I wouldn't have to carry or move anything anymore, and everything would just have a forever home on that bed... Sounds very appealing , to me at least.. 😉

I wonder if any model shops will do special bundles to get a discounted car to go with it? I think a tilt bed would have made it a lot more expensive. Tamiya's tipper trucks require a separate actuator which costs more than half the price of the truck!
Needs a molded grille, clipless mounts, clear windows, reverse beeps, and tilt bed. Maybe V2.
You need to have your paint guy make a matching truck and hot rod combo for the parade.

I had seen the snap on 1 when I was on the tool truck 1 day at work and fell in love with it so when I seen that this 1 was coming out I got it the day it hit the shelves and it’s a true beast!!! Just to test it out I put 4 full gallons of 3M bondo on it and it took it like a champ in both high gear and low like it was nothing

I built an axial based tamya bullhead body 6x6 back in the day and a tamiya aerocab 6x6 both flatbeds, they were small around the other 1/10 trail trucks. This is more like it, I want one!

I think they should have made the body tilt forward on a hinge so u could access the front end without removing body completely

Super cool but because there is always a but. If the bed tilted would have been over the top. Down side tilting bed most likely would have had a 1G price
I knew that Traxxas was going to release this truck. For all those crooks who were selling their free with tool purchase Snap On Edition for $2000+ good luck getting it now. I'd buy this one all day for retail $669.99

Very impressive. What a great looking truck. I guess it would be asking too much for a bed that tilted back for loading your cars. Do the side tool boxes open? They would be great for storing stuff. It sure looks nice with the trailer and the 2 bitchen cars.

Get a fan for that esc... 3s will thermal it in minutes especially will more weight that the original trx6...for the price should of came brushless must be 20 lb with a car on the back

I like the RC Hauler. But I don't want it without a functional roll back bed. If it had the functioning bed and it was done well, I would absolutely want it and would pay quite a bit more than asking for it. There are a lot of people saying similar things. Traxxas may have made a neat model but missed an opportunity to offer something really undeniable.

So who is going to be the first to mod it so the bed lowers? With servos maybe? To bad I can't afford one. because the plans just popped in to my head on how to do it.
I think it's a bit of a miss not to be able to fit a trx4. Or a crawler. Or even a slash.
Also if it doesn't tilt they could have put some ramps maybe?
Or by removing the rails.? Maybe, or having some side extenders like on a real hauler... Now this said either traxxas or aftermarket will surely end up doing it because I bet there's a market for it
