Have just found Larry Grayson appearances on my I pad.I am 70 and always adored him. I can’t tell you the enjoyment I am getting to now watch all his shows.he gives me a reason to live.
Larry was a one off, lovely on and off stage. I would have loved to just have afternoon tea with him and spend quality time listening to him. He was so entertaining and the genuine article. A very sad loss.

I grew up in the 70s in a small village in Scotland I was gay and new I was gay you didn’t have to tell me I loved Larry Grayson I just new he was like me thank you Larry xx
A people person a funny person you would feel happy and comfortable in his company Larry had lots of decent friends a likeable guy never to be forgotten
Funny isn't it! One of the hardest places in the country but white men are all supposed to be racist bigoted and homophobic. Larry Grason made his living for most of his life performing in northern venues. Never would have happened if the propaganda were true. As a gay man I've always preferred northerners. You know where you stand plus they tend to be more self assured so don't project their insecurities through bias and bigotry or racism onto others. Leave that to the white middle class southerners. Oh but wait! They are the ones who instigate that sort of propaganda. RIP Mr Grayson. You're not missing much these days.
The most underrated and undervalued entertainer in the history of British television.
He was a great man. Warm, hard working, generous, charismatic, talented.
True entertainer. God bless you, Larry x

You'd never have expected Bernard Manning to be singing Larry's praises, yet here he is doing just that.

He may not have been the funniest of guys on the comedian circuit, But He was certainly one of the more decent.
