To be fair unlike the champions, Impa wasn't in a near death scenario nor in a critical moment that required the aid of her descendant to survive, it would have been really funny tho.
Here is my opinion on the dlc it’s good the battle tested guardian being op having Sooga as a character meaning he could be alive and Robbie and purah now I felt they could have been separated though. Now here are characters I did wanna see ,harbinger ganon, all four blights separate, Astor, kass, and beetle now if they make tingle work in the og hyrule warriors why not beetle he could maybe use his big bag and take out potions and use them but that is really it for my list

Impa in age of calamity looks like paya from breath of the wild
They missed an opportunity to have Paya come in and help Impa. She could've used the ball from the house to attack enemies.
