The funniest joke to me is Deadpool blocking the bullets with his swords as a reference to Origins but failing miserably because that’s ridiculous.

Facts
Yes but he did block the first one but as bullets started to come in fast he started messing up but I think he still hit all the bullets just at some point the one half of each bullet still hit him
Maybe, but it's established on origins that his reflexes are enhanced beyond Gillam ability.
In the comics he is actually able to do that. There is a frame with him on a toilet and holes everywhere around him because he deflected the bullets. Not sure which version can do that though, did not read them, just research online.
I can hear Matt saying " No one ever dies!" already 😂.

Even with the fact that they don't say anything, it's perfect. I have no problem imagining that the other X-Men don't show up just because they don't want to deal with Deadpool.

Personally I enjoy this more the first one but there’s some things I think the first did better. Feel mixed. Hopefully 3 is great.
Do you like Bobs Burgers? I love that show. The 2 Sisters who are writers on that show will write the script (together with Ryan Reynolds obviously) for the 3rd one. Oh and it will apparently be the introduction of Mutants into the MCU.
I think Deadpool is better than 2 but I prefer 2, love them both so much

I think it’s more of the same. This one does everything a sequel needed to do, it does go balls deep into it. And I enjoyed it for what it was 6.5/10

i remember the trailers for this movie hyping up the fact that deadpool was going to be making a team, so alot of the theories for what deadpool 2 would be about centered around x force. honestly, i think the fact that they made us expect a team-up made it even FUNNIER when they killed them all off right away. it was very on-brand for the sense of humor that these movies conveys. and i honestly think it was for the better. i think it was a better story this way. i think it was a good way to transition from one part of the movie to the next and the new characters never got the chance to overshadow the main cast.
The fact they had footage of the team in action in the trailers and none of that was in the movie itself except of them all except Domino getting killed right away was pretty deceptive but still funny for some reason. Still felt like a kick in the nuts for fans of X-Force though.
The first 2 Home Alone movies are the only ones that matter. You ain't changing my mind about that.
Hot Take : Home Alone 3 is better than Home Alone 2. Fight me, ya filthy animals.

To Pastor: The scene with X-Men First Class. They weren't there as in "this is the same universe and timeline." That was the actors filming the First Class movie in the mansion while Deadpool was walking by. Deadpool doing what he does best: breaking the 4th wall.

Brad Pitt did the part for scale, meaning paid below $1,000. There was a pay minimum which they had to pay the actor, which meant he got somewhere roughly between $930-$960 for the cameo. And he asked for a coffee which Ryan Reynolds had to hand deliver to him. They shot his appearance in about half an hour. You can also see him in the blooper reel.

I have to say; I absolutely love this group. Originally I was all about just the three of you, but I've really come to love both Jeremy and Pastor's insights and points of view. I find that I share a lot of their opinions, and if I don't they always get me thinking. Jeremy is just so smart and wise, and Pastor is just the biggest nerd.. Like me. And I love it.
I also love Jen. She's a great addition to your channel. You may have seen comments that I've left on previous (MGW) videos about how much I enjoy the videos with her in them. I also love that she offers a fresh less pessimistic perspective to the movies. She goes in with high hopes, and actually enjoys most of the movies/shows.

A week of bad early Marvel films would be entertaining too like the 70's Spider Man, Dr. Strange, 90's Captain America and the 89 Punisher flick with Dolph Lundgren (I actually like that one as an action film but it's not a proper Punisher film at all). Also, Nick Fury with David Hasselhoff. Dear Lord is that bad.

If I'm not mistaken the reason it was the first class cast when the door was opened was because they were actively filming things for that timeline at the time that they were shooting Deadpool 2. There were several different options for what to show when the door was opened that was just the one they went with.
I loved the first and second deadpool!! I think I found the second more entertaining but both are just so good!

Pastor?! You thought Blade 2 was a letdown from the first one? I honestly thought it was by far the best screen Blade we got! Blade 2 to me was next level compared to the camp and look of the first one (not that I don't also enjoy it). Blade Trinity on the other hand.... not so much. I prefer the TV show over that one, even.

If you're not into movies ( like Matt was a year ago), you would not have heard of Josh Brolin so it's hardly surprising.
Because Josh Brolin also played Thanos in the later Avengers movies. He's CGI and you only hear is voice. So he's saying that hearing the voice with Josh Brolin's face is trippy.

I agree, Home Alone 3 is underrated. The story and characters may not be quite as gripping as the first 2, but it has some of the best traps in the franchise.

I agree that Home Alone 1 & 2 are obviously the best movies of the series. But Home Alone 3 does deserve it’s respect, very underrated. & the ones after that, I never watched & they don’t exist in my head.
It is amazing how much better everything seems when you watch it right after the Star Wars Holiday Special.
I KNEW as soon as the time travel element was instigated for Wade's resurrection, Matt was done. You could just see it in his body language. I thought he was going to 5 or 6 this for sure (specifically because of the time travel), so the final score of 8 is pretty impressive.
Also, Jenna was looking especially pretty in this reaction. I think maybe she just wears laughter well. (I'm not hitting on your wife, Matt! Just making an observation.) I think Jenna definitely digs in a little more when she gets some real laughs. Everyone should be subscribed to Jenna Lane on YT!
So good "My Friend watches..."-video today! It can't be helped: having seen the movies that this movie makes fun of, and makes more or less subtle references to, is essential to be able to enjoy the Deadpool-movies. This is my true conviction: if one lacks the "foundation" these two films won't be enjoyable. And, maybe, NOT having read the comics probably helps to enjoy it more (judged by Pastor's comments).
The more i rewatch part 2 the more i like it over the first.
