I feel like a lot of USA DJs would struggle playing a wedding in New Zealand and Australia - we are typically 10-12 hour days for Ceremony + Reception. My weddings this weekend are both 2pm ceremonies with midnight finishes.
Do you play House music or EDM? I don't think we can play too much of that here in the US. I feel like its built into the culture over there. We have to stick to Pop music, stuff that is extremely well known. You can't go niche, or you'll lose the crowd quickly
@@Ciulla55depends on the couple but being weddings, we do a lot of classic and popular mixed in with house, drum & bass and other stuff. But because our dance floors are 4-5 hours long we do a lot more floor rotation and have to be pretty thoughtful about how to run the floor so we don’t burn everyone out in the first 2 hours
Sound was a little goofy at the outro. Maybe something with the soundcard about playing music at the same time as using the mic? I'm not sure. Not a big deal though
I didn't get on till the very end, with the boxes rant. I think Denon will have stems soon. I bet they will have you pre-process the files on the computer (like VDJ can with their stem locker for weak ass computers.), then that pre stemmed file will be rad by the engine gear.
My first Rev5 had a bad headphone jack and thought it was my headphones. I use Rekordbox with the original power brick. No issues with the replacement. I’m hoping Pioneer can help you out repair or exchange it.
For Wireless audio from console to speakers, look at skaa... I believe that is exactly what sonic link technology is skaa licensed. As far as not serving the DJ. Then you see the photographer walk off with 2 hard liquor drinks...lol
Haven't run into any problem with my REV 5 . I've use it with and without the power brick . Get high quality cables USB c 3.1 or 3.2 . I mainly use vdj and Serato on my gaming laptop. Not a fan of apple products. .
Take your old Rev 5 update the firmware and use the original brick that came with the new Rev 5 and see if you still have the same issue? If you don’t have the issue and you solve the issue, then just buy an OEM power supply for the old Rev 5 and sell it. Problem solved.
Yeah, I'm not following Spinelli since he started shilling hard for the brands he's in biz with. Cool guy and dope DJ, but I'm not down with the shilling and gaslighting these top DJ influencers are pulling these days.
Find an electronics repair shop locally, they can test it. again, it could be a multitude of things.... usually they charge you around $50 to diagnose it...and if they can repair or you choose to use them for the repair most of them will apply the diagnostic charge towards the repair total.
Typically dancing here starts at 10pm earliest and ends around 3am, sometimes 4am or later.
Same exact thing happened to my BRAND NEW S11. Took Pioneer 14 months to get me a new mixer lol. Just selling new product with bad brains is UNREAL
Yes folks, be CLASSY and order "CABARET" like DJ Aaron. #StayClassy

Shoutout to toadmatic with locking drawer for private liquor cabinet

Here in central Europe typical wedding is 3pm ceremony, reception till 3-4am, sometimes 5am

@@dennisbartalsky3570we get the odd one who does that but usually if it’s past 12 - there’s a separate after party

I’d do the mixer joke as long as I got 2 minutes
If the new REV5 fails you, I’d go with the REV7 over the Rane One or Rane Performer.
I love my Prime 2!
That donna AI track
Amy bring her in she’s the best
I know of 3 bars locally that have been sued and no longer are in business because of it
