Great vlogg loved how the Philly/Hollywood captain was so excited to see the filming locations, I really want to visit from England, but would stay clear of the rougher aeras
Hey Adam with the Hollywood Philly Captain great video, touring other movie filming locations,1st Disney studio and more around LA area..Enjoy your day..
Regarding Fast Times at Ridgemont High, I actually saw the movie for the first time in the Sherman Oaks Galleria movie theater that's in the movie. The audience exploded with every shot of the very mall we were sitting in. What a great memory!
I really enjoy when Adam makes videos with other people. The Captain, Scott on Tape, Jacob the Carpetbagger, Jordan the Lion, etc. There is a different energy in these videos.
Videos like these really demonstrate what a great guy Adam is. The fact that he goes on a “vacation” (working vacation in a way) and meets up with a friend and spends the day taking him to all these filming locations just to see him smile shows how he values others. Adam had been to some before, sounds like he wasn’t into every location they went to maybe, but specifically did all of this because he knew how excited it would make Captn to see them. And in turn, that meant Adam had a great time with a friend. Adam is one of those unique young-at-heart and raised right guys I think. And he has family but I think it’s obvious he has a wide range of friends he considers family too and it shows he appreciates them 😊
My dream movie location visit is Field of Dreams, followed by the house from The Christmas Story. I've seen both on this channel, so I know both of them don't disappoint.
“Tampa Town” shopping center is where we buy our See’s candy & our bang-bangs. ; ) lol Thanks for all your videos, they help this 52yr old Mom show her boys “cool” history! ❤
Love how excited Philly Captain gets lol 😄 I really enjoy the videos where you guys get together! His reaction to the Ghostbusters location was great lol. The first Disney Studio! Gosh I love that so much! Wonderful seeing the old photos on the wall! Appreciate you showing that 😊 the 80's film locations were very cool too!
My daughter and I were in L.A. in the beginning of September during that insane heatwave. Had plans to walk around Sunset Blvd, do some movie locations but was just too freaking HOT! Did get DCA and Disneyland in plus Warner Bros tour and the first night of HHN at Universal Hollywood. It was BRUTAL!
If my memory serves me right . On top of the building across the street from the Orpheum Theater. Is where Van Halen recorded their video for the song Not Enough. R.I.P. Eddie thanks for all of the awesome music you gave us.
Awesome video Adam good to see this , never been to California just watching it from Adam view on video lol, Los Angeles is a dump in some areas. Thanks for Sharing this. Take care. It's nice to see Philly Captain as well.
*"They Live " ... _Fantastic !_ Great that you visited that location ! I watched it for the 1st time only a month ago ! Someone has uploaded it here. I can't believe I never watched it before. Roddy did an amazing jon with that role. He was born to play it ! ( Btw, the tunnel in McArthur Park was also used for Westworld ( I think the far one ). Your buddy from Philly has puppy energy and positivity for days ! It's really great to see you both have a great time in the sun there ! Hi from Prague !
Have to say this was very interesting. Everyone is very familiar with the touristy areas so to see this side of Los Angeles is very interesting. The knowledge you guys have of movies is incredible. Would love to see you go from this area of Los Angeles to Beverly Hills and the famous places in Bev Hills from the movies. Thank you for a very cool take from Dublin, Ireland
This was an extra cool adventure. And I didn't know that Wooster was pals with John Belushi. Meanwhile, it's strange that a Disney outlet was on Los Feliz, yet neither brother had anything to do with Felix the Cat. Ub Iwerks was the actual creator of the mouse.
Thanks Adam, for all those film locations in L.A, especially the baseball field where they filmed The Bad News Bears, it came out in 1976 and I was too young to go the theatre by myself then. So I'm going to see it on 14 November at the Prince Charles Cinema, a retro movie theater here in London I can't wait to see it for the first time! 🤗🐻
@@garyny4073 Hi Gary, Piccadilly Circus is different these days, it's all digitalised billboards, but it's safer and sanitised. Back in the 80s/90s there were anti-social problems with rent boys plying their trade, but that's all gone now thankfully, but PC is a tourist trap, expensive and gawdy. You won't get the best Fish n Chips in Piccadilly Circus, best is in South London and other places. 👍 Brian 🤗
I really love it when the both of you are together! You guys are so funny together! Philly Captain is fantastic! I love movie locations! Insider secrets!🏠🏡🛣️🏘️⚾🧢🌳🌴🙂🎞️📺Fast Times of Rigdemont High, is modeled after a high school here in San Diego, Claremont High back in the day!
The homeless tents and look of Skid Row is so sad. The Mayan building near the end of the video has awesome architecture. Loved seeing the Disney Bros. Studio and inside with the history stuff.
Okay, this vlog inspired my to show my son Bad News Bears, then we rewatched this video after and noticed you’re at freakin Mason Park, which my son’s been playing soccer at for years! All this time I had no clue we were at a legendary film location!
I enjoyed this video Adam! Love the Karate Kid movie. I live in Downey ca just 30 miles form LA. there's alot of movie history over here. Anywho. Keep the great feed coming love watching ❤ 😊 have a great day. To you and your friend.
Omgggg I used to live off Reseda and prairie, and yes looooved that tom petty song! And taking it waaaaay back, was born in Downtown LA and lived a few blocks away from Langers but this was eons ago when it was nice lol. Thanks for doing a "this is your life" for me hahahahaaaaaaaa
Fast Times at Ridgemont High Reminded me of that scene as you were at the baseball field from Bad News Bears, the original one. I was on a Little League team at that time of the movie. We were The Falcons. I played pitcher and first base. We won the National League Championship for 1976 and out of 20 games, we lost 1. That loss was to the worst team in the league, The Colts. Loss by 1 run. After that loss, we played them again and beat them 20-0. I remember those 2 games the most out of the entire season. Good times! Thanks for the vlog!
Yes another great video from Adam The Woo and The Philly Captain.I love all the filming locations, Adam you are a great tour guide. From Universal Jamie.

What a great video!!!! I would love to travel around LA with the Woo and Philly captain and see the movie sites! I haven't been to downtown LA in many years. The wife will not let me go as she deems it to unsafe...
It was actually Jimmy Page that did the soundtrack for Death Wish 2. Is quite an interesting and unique soundtrack. Also when you're in downtown LA, you should have gotten a chance to stop in at Coles French Dip, some of the best french dip sandwiches ever. Strangely enough, another Bronson movie was filmed there as well, called "St. Ives", 1976 I think.
Yeah, Langer's #19 is fantastic. I went there just last month on my first trip to Los Angeles and Anaheim.
It’s a great spot . Glad I finally tried it

Isn't there? I've been watching for years? And they feel like friends. All of them.

He never wears anything else, weather permitting
Why??

These last 2 vlogs have been my favorite. When I first moved to LA, I was the same amount excited as the Cpatain seeing the filming locations
LOVE THIS!!! So much fun watching you and other vloggers!! Sooooo iconic! 🎉
I want an Adam guided tour!!!!! 😂
The Cecil Hotel is pretty notorious with a real dark history. The documentary is scary. 😱
It would be cool to see them do a tour of the old Los Angeles hotels. Especially the Chateau Marmont
