Vultures are so ugly they are cute - we had a fledgling vulture show up on our carport in July 2023 when it was really hot here in Texas. It took me several days to find a vet that could tell me how to care for it. For 8 weeks I fed it 4 oz of hamburger and gave it water each day. We watched it practice flying and on the first day of school it flew off with its parents. July of this year it came back and hung out here at the house for about 4 weeks. Taking care of it gave me a new appreciation for Vultures.
