Just wanted to say that I did my first ever build recently, upgraded just about everything, but chickened out on the perun AB++ for a couple of weeks because of the soldering. Watching your 'hackjob' made me go for it today and it really wasnt that hard, all works great! Thanks so much.
To anyone else doing this on a microswitch trigger, don't heat the terminals on the switch too much. The plastic housing will melt slightly and all the internals will come loose and no longer work. Luckily I had some spare microswitches; they're really cheap if you mess up and need more!

Hey pheas, would I be alright to use an 11.1v with this gun as is? Without this MOSFET just the gun stock Bassically? Cheers
Would you still need the cut off lever?
Yes you do, as it controls the firing mode, this only controls burst on auto setting, the cut off lever is needed ideally... potentially could get away with it I guess... but semi would be unreliable. With an optical you remove it as it defo isnt needed. Pheas
Any chance you could install one on a old school gun with a normal trigger, i have 2 gun where i want to install a mosfet

@@PheasAirsoft the guns are classic army scar L V2 gearbox and the other is a fn fal ( don't know what make) V3 gearbox, they both have the old style triggers set ups, both are good guns just don't respond quick to the trigger pulls
@@leeparsons5951 Hmm, i dont have anything like that at all, if you are uk based I could look at doing the work for you on at least one of them, then you could do it yourself to the other one, if that is of any help. Pheas

just wondering but I'm trying to make an order from tiwangun but there not shipping to the uk at the moment and from what ive seen i need my order to be over £150 or something? and I'm just a bit lost on what i should do? should i wait and see what tiwangun dose or should i order from somewhere else ?
Hello! They were due to open it up on Black friday for us, there have been a couple of delays as they want to make sure that the same doesnt happen as before. So its due anytime (with roumors of a discount code just for UK customers). the order minimum is correct so that they don't have to deal with UK customs / taxes themselves and it will handled by the border force instead when it arrives. It could be any day that they open it up, but I can't guarantee when. Hope that helps. Pheas

@@robertknight-gray7187 All the uk retailers do not have a mini cost, usually just the EU based ones to help make it easier for them to ship out and not fight with our tax / customs. Urban Airsoft, Airsoft World UK, BZ tactical, Defcon airsoft and loads of others all uk based will be able to cover you I am sure. Pheas

Can I ask you if you rate this gun? I've looked into it, can't decide if it's worth branching away from cyma AKs (can't afford LCT). I liked this gun as I'm into the rail system. Never heard good things about nuprol apart from I kinda like their M4 mags, I own a few.
Hello! I absolutely love this gun to be honest. From my internal work on it I would say it is either made by Arcturus or E&L so its rock solid internally. Out of the box the rof is a little sluggish on a 7.4v lipo, but an 11.1v stick will sort it out or a change of motor. I am probably going to replace the barrel / hop rubber shortly for a little tighter shooting and range (BUT it is very very good and very solid out of the box) Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft awesome. That's a great response. Is there any prepriatary parts to look out for when upgrading the gun? Would you consider it a 'TM compatible'?
@@DankMayoLit It is largely TM compatible, just the GB shell itself is off spec, they use a microswitch trigger which means that the shell is slightly different to the typical tm style and it has an unwind level, which when pressed opens the arl so the gears can unwind, leaving the gearbox under no pressure when not being used. After that everything else it on spec. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft yeah it's a bit 'different' for an AK, doesn't really look like anything in particular, was looking for something slightly shorter possibly the cyma CM 045c ris version. I had a cm048m but felt it was too long. This one with the Mlok handguard looks rather appealling I must say.
@@DankMayoLit I love the old full metal and wood ones, but there is something a little be special about an ultra modern AK like this. You can work wonders with the CM.045s with all the accessories available and make them awesome looking! Good luck with your search! Pheas

how do you adjust motor height on this gun?
Hello! If you remove the screw in the bottom of the pistol grip and remove the grip there is a little grub screw in the bottom of the motor cage (in the same hole the now removed screw just came out of, You will need a small allen key / hex head key to adjust the grub screw. Hope that helps! Pheas
