I did the RC long arm up grade kit with BDS 4in springs and matched Fox shocks on mine. It has worked great for me on and off road. 🤘🤘🤘

I have a 3-inch IRO on just 31s, and I had to go with a Tom Woods front driveshaft after 2 stock shafts.

Im getting rough country long arms. Bilsteins and iron rock springs. Ill do joints as they crap out with jonnies or flex.

Can you expand on the junk yard drive shafts? Which are the ones to look for and how can we tell by visual inspection?

In the description I linked the entire video on the swap and what driveshaft you’ll need.

Both ends being u-joints is ideal. They'll also have the factory yokes for tcase and axle side if yours has neither

I had the CV joint type in my WJ. I got mine fromt drive shaft out of a V8 ZJ it fit perfect with my 4inch lift.
Measure yoke to yoke from your transfercase and your differential. The shaft I got has a slip extension that moves in and out 2ish inches. Makes for a easy fit while flexing.

Man! You start out bashing RC! You are right about the shocks being ok at best I haven't had any issues with my joints though. Lol I have a 4 inch RC long arm kit and it has done me well! I do plan on getting IRO 6.5in springs and replacing the shock with something suitable for the lift though. In the end the IRO kit you got is a great kit but the RC is a great on a budget and upgradable when the budget improves lol. Does the IRO come with an upper rear adjustable a arm? I'd love to see the 2 kits side by side for comparison...
Love your content man keep it coming!

They make a long arm front with a arm rear kit, just short arm + a arm, or full long arm kit, all vary in price but full long arm is pretty pricy from them. I have the short arm + a arm one on a 4" with .75" puck in front. Been great going on a year now

@@pinesurf1 that's what I thought... I got the $800 RC lift the the $1200 long arm upgrade plus the adjustable trackbar for $120. I'm still only 4 inch but for just over 2k its affordable and seems sturdy. Like Rocky said the shocks are ok but I plan on upgrading when I get taller springs so I'm not too worried. As far as the bushing go I haven't had any problems but I'll replace all of them as soon as I have a problem with one lol. Happy Jeeping!

@@danwall5010 I wanted to go the same route with the RC long arm upgrade but got steered away because of the apparent bushing issues. Iro kit was $950 at the time plus the same in replacing everything in the front axle lol. If it works it works, can't bash on it until something goes south.
