I’ve probably watched this instruction 20 times by now. Regular speed, half speed, double speed. This was exactly the thing i needed. Im now almost done and ready to put the head back on. Thank you so much. Really helpful for an inexperienced diy mecanic like myself. Greetings from the netherlands! 🇳🇱
I just removed, and deep cleaned my intake manifold and replaced whole PCV system, and now think my head gasket is bad. Now I wonder, If there is a way to service the head without having to removed the intake manifold completely from the car. If not, it is what it is. If i pull my head is it worth it to get machined but keep the block unmachined? Thanks for the help. Your videos are legitimately responsible for half of the stuff I’ve done on my car if not more.
I'm not really sure how to best do a comparison drive to showcase different camshafts; would have to put more thought into that. The "VX" is definitely an upgrade over the standard "M" that came with the B230F
@@Sulaimaanhr i did a vx cam swap on my na '88 740. its not crazy but its a nice upgrade from the m cam. definatly more happy in higher rpms but in my automatic it was hardly worth it but its much more fun.

Hallo from volvo lovers INDONESIA
Shouldn't you do the valve shims before replacing the hushers?
Ive heard from many older volvo guys that its basically useless to reshim these unless you plan on doing a full rebuild
Yes, always check valve clearance, honestly the only reliable way is without the hushers.
any way you could do a video on the vx camshaft like a comparison drive

What grits did you use for the resurfacing?
Why do I watch this? I don't even own a car. Strange.
