Please note this is an early preview of the headers, they haven't been released at the time of this video, keep an eye on Custom Modding's Facebook page and the ModHub for when they will be released.
Heard about them. Never took much notice but wow, these are on another level completly. So much attention to detail and the way the air hose flexes is incredible. Super impressed.
Custom Modding has absolutely knocked it out of the park once again!!! (Not that I’m at all surprised, it’s what we’ve come to expect to be honest…) Great showcase, man!! Awesome stuff by all!! (Edit: didn’t realize you practically said the same thing towards the end! Haha! Had to comment before finishing the video as it’s just that damn good!!!)
These headers have now been released. They do look awesome. There is so much detail on the headers & its nice that all sizes of headers are catered for. Not just the 50 & 60ft headers.
I really hope that auto connect/disconnect when using the header trailer works with manual attach, I'd be pretty disappointed if I had to choose between the two. Other than that I can't wait; especially excited for the 50' and 60' headers to use on the bigger combines. I've found that the 60' Midwest header doesn't work well with some combines unless you have perfectly flat land, hopefully these won't have that issue.
amazing work from Custom Modding once again! Did you showcase them using the dusty lands mod? Looked much more realistic than usual. great job.. wish that was on console too
If this was out for the weekend would be cool. I'm on PC so I don't really care, but I hope it doesn't fail testing because honeybee can't go on consoles or something. I'm sure they've thought of that though.
These will be awesome with the Manual height adjustment header mod for realism. Looking forward the smaller ones for Hobo Holler 60ft for Green Valley Nebraska map Apprentice the video.
w00t! Finally found the PC download link for this on the Facebook page. Thought it would be in their google docs...so been watching that...but it isn't linked there yet. Trying it out for the first time today on Huron County.
First impressions...the headers rock...the trailer hitch...not so much. Now I am wondering if that is what is holding them up on this one. The good news is that the Midwest Durus trailer with the fuel tank seems to do the trick.
I run a honeybee airflex 236, holding in both mouse buttons does not adjust the height but rather the tilt, if the mod is that realistic, otherwise im mistaken because in real life all you do is flip a switch on the honeybee monitor and then use your reel up and down controls do change the tilt
That header is so detailed it makes other modders step up there game also that it is on both PC and Console speaks volumes about Custom Modding I have always loved there mods they are priceless. Thanks for showing us those header ands how you do the trailer. I wish you had tried the Combine/Header trailer with the 60ft one to see how it looks Was also wondering have you used the 25ft on older combines does it work? Also it looks like you were combining on Dusty Lands Map LOL too much dust for me cough, cough 😂
Do the windflow, canola cutter, and other options actually have an effect in game or are they just there for the cool factor? Awesome mod, got lost with the trailer part so tyvm for showing how to use it properly.
Can you explain how the features would work in the fields? Adjusting the height and auger and whatnot? You said depending on the crop. But what adjustments should I be making for let’s say sorghum. Or oats, etc. Thanks! And thanks for the great video!
You can only get the yeild that the field produces, so adding a yield bonus for the header would make it unrealistic, I think the best option would be to have combine settings for sieves etc that you had to set, and if you didn't do that properly you would loose some yield.
@@TheFarmSimGuy That is partially correct / incorrect. Realistically, the field would give you a theoretical yield, but there are other external factors that take into account if you actually capture that yield or not. Header technology, header settings, speed, threshing quality of the combine itself, etc. Farm sim 22 is farming on easy mode, like an arcade.
The case IH axial flow by Custom Modding (same author that made these headers) has 50 foot pipes, both static and foldable, which work well with 60 foot drapers. My only complaint is that if you are letting AI drive the harvester and you are doing the auger work then the AI tends to not like you being that far out, so for Courseplay work I have been sticking with 45 foot drapers and the 40 foot pipe. But for manual work or multiplayer the 50 foot pipe and 60 foot draper should be perfect for you. I have not yet tried a 60 foot draper on my John Deere X1100 but I would think it would be pretty much the same situation for any harvester.
Great mod, but it doesn't work well with Autodrive. As it keeps the game from saving correctly. Could also be another mod that causes the issue. But I had to take it out of the game.
@@olliebob8359 give it time.. we haven't even hit the 12 month mark for the game yet... It takes a while for things to really take off mods-wise, especially with maps as they require a tonne of time and effort to do well.
@@friesy3518 yes but there wasn’t one on 19 either, I’m uk based and apart of the uk modding community, county line was ok, I tried that Midwest horizon that’s not too bad

@@uhitskyle when it's approved by Giants, sorry I don't have anything other than that
@@uhitskyle they were released today on PC only on their Facebook page.
I couldn’t get the 18.7 meter head to fit on the header trailer not working!
@@agbiochemist7269 Dont think they are online anymore. They gave out some for a " beta "
This is definitely one of my most anticipated mods. Finally a good way to get more than 40ft on the IDEAL, now only if the unload auger was longer.
Heard about them. Never took much notice but wow, these are on another level completly. So much attention to detail and the way the air hose flexes is incredible. Super impressed.
I’m so excited for these to be released. Thanks for the early look. These are definitely going on the farm.
Been waiting for these headers, that trailer for the header is a great idea. Thanks for the great preview.
No probs Cranky! Yes big fan of the header trailer 👍
They look absolutely awesome, such brilliant work. Congrats to the modders for such detailed mod. I will definitely be getting those when released.
I couldn't figure out the header trailer in game. Been fighting it and almost gave up. Then found your video. Thank you
Glad I could help 🙂👍
Wow, the farm equipment just keeps getting bigger. Nice to have this in-game soon.

Very clever, detailed and well refined mod. Would not expect anything less from Custom Modding. Great preview FSG.
I couldn’t agree more, Thanks mate!
This might be the best header I’ve ever seen in farming sim!! That truck looks great in silver too.
Agreed 👍👍

Totally agree so good to see smaller headers in the pack! Custom Modding thinking about the players as always 👍
great preview mate, these are looking top notch, would expect nothing less from the Custom Modding team.
Couldn't agree more mate
Can't wait for this. Anything from custom modding is an instant download for me.
I think Custom Modding has made the header everyone will use for the rest of the life of FS22!! Amazing mod!
I think you might be right Daniel
looking back at this since is just came out i rlly needed to know how to hook the header up thanks
Glad I could help 👍
Thank you for the preview!! Looks awesome!
No problem Wayne! 👍
Ah, I spent 15 minutes last night trying to attach the trailer. 🤣 Back the front I was. Thankyou
Wow those look awesome! Great work custome modding and nicely reviewed FSG.
Thanks Pete! 👍
Review was brilliant!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks my friend, and thanks for the early access 🙂
💋
Mind blown! Giants, hire these guys this minute! And pay them well.
To have that much detail, all platform availability, and not be a major "poly bomb" speaks volumes of Custom Modding's skill...
Well said mate, they are the gold standard for modding for FS for sure!
Nicely presented FSG custom modding makes some really nice looking mods as they always have keep up with the fantastic videos 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Breathtaking mod! 😀
Thanks a lot for showing! 😊👍🏻
No problem 👍
The header trailer for these is quite something
Absolutely awesome, mate, congrats! You could sell any kind of stuff for everyone, if you want lol
Haha thanks Neo 😊👍

They are purely cosmetic, but based on different heights of crops etc you would raise or extend the header reel to accomodate them
@@TheFarmSimGuy thanks for the reply! So they make no difference in game then. Just look cool?
Very cool thank you Sir for sharing.
My pleasure Tech 👍
what does the Height Control option do? I don't seems a "funtional" difference. (except de smal wheel)
No it actually has a purpose, it stops the header hitting the ground and bouncing the combine. it works really well
No more other headers needed 🎊🎊🎊
Facts!
Tanks fore showing us how to use the header trailer i have bin scaring my head for 2 hours
Glad I could help 😊👍
Has anyone been able to use this mod with Manual Attach? I can’t seem to get the front hitch to show a trigger
Seems like the latest FS update might have broken the mod. The back trailer will no longer attach. Can you confirm @The FarmSim Guy
Thanks for the heads up, I'll check 👍
It's sad that such incredibly detailed models such as these don't really offer -more- for gameplay. You don't get any additional yield.
You can only get the yeild that the field produces, so adding a yield bonus for the header would make it unrealistic, I think the best option would be to have combine settings for sieves etc that you had to set, and if you didn't do that properly you would loose some yield.

Thanks for the info & help now i’m glad thanks to you i like & sub now
No problem and thank you for the sub 😊👍
Will these be fully licensed on console or will they be under Lizard brand?
Regardless, the pack looks mega.
I believe they will be branded for console too, but don't quote me on that
Do attachments like Cross Auger or Crary Wind System affects yield of crops?
No just purely visual choices
That is so cool we have one in the farm I work on I have one question will it come to fs19 or not?
No, currently we're only making mods for fs22
I saw a real one in Louisville KY USA they are impressive and expensive.
Yeah I bet they cost a bit!
Nice
Hey FSG or anyone else which combines have a long enough pipe to be able to unload on the go with the 60ft header?
The case IH axial flow by Custom Modding (same author that made these headers) has 50 foot pipes, both static and foldable, which work well with 60 foot drapers. My only complaint is that if you are letting AI drive the harvester and you are doing the auger work then the AI tends to not like you being that far out, so for Courseplay work I have been sticking with 45 foot drapers and the 40 foot pipe. I don't do FB so I get screwed with alot of mods.
cant seem to get the trailer lined up right
Stick at it, it defo works, just need to find the sweet spot
Are these on modhub for all platforms?
Read the pinned post
Can't get the trailer to connect to the header
It definitely works, I've not had any issues with it
Will these headers work on all harvesters?
Yes no reason why they wouldn't just some of the bigger headers will need a long pipe to be able to unload easily! 👍
How do you get this header?
Custom Moddings Facebook page if you are on PC, console version is still in testing
Great mod, but it doesn't work well with Autodrive. As it keeps the game from saving correctly. Could also be another mod that causes the issue. But I had to take it out of the game.
Yeah I don't think it's Autodrive, I've been using the two in every save game I have without any issues, reckon it's a different mod
What map is this
Stone valley 👍
The system with the trailer doesnt work. Thats trash!
Works every time for me, no issues at all with it
Such a total faf to get it hitched to the rear half of the trailer...
Not at all its fine
they look weird, the proportions on everything is throwing me off hard
And not a single good American map to play it on
