How could I have forgotten that. I'm sorry. For holy priest stats, I'd go for Item level > Crit/Mastery > Versatility/Haste. Crit and mastery are where a majority of your healing will come from in raid content.

You say one should use holy word procs (t-set) on holy words If salv is on CD. But don't you benefit more from resetting serenity/sanctify to get more CD Reduction (and Essentially Hps) through more holyword casts? Great Video though. Can recommend for people to optimise hpriest If theyre having issues
Yes, in most cases for raiding, you wont need to rush resetting salvation CD, but for cases where you want to get it off CD as quick as possible, it is better to use the procs on holy words for extra CDR.
Isn’t focused mending better than holy oration? 80% healing on pom seems better than 7 sec cd reduction on serenity instead of 6 with heal or flash heal, and it doesn’t work with the set piece that reduces holy words cd by 15 seconds. Would love an explanation on this:)
A majority of the time you press POM, it is on targets will full HP, so the conduit will do way to much overhealing to be valuable. afaik Holy Oration does in fact work with the tier set bonus, and even without it working, it still helps with Chastise and Salvation CDR. Its a fairly minimal HPS gain but its better than the other options we have available to us.
I'm not a progression raider by any means, maybe Heroic is in my future. But if I use Harmonious Apparatus, do I ever cast Renew or Prayer of Healing at all?
With harmonious Apparatus, Prayer of Healing becomes worth pressing when there are 5+ injured players in the raid. Renew is still not worth pressing however.

Yea just wanted to demonstrate starting from zero stacks but getting to 5 stacks before the encounter starts is beneficial for sure, I just don't think its necessary for someone learning to understand the class/spec

I figure looking at someone elses logs gives me a better way of showing examples since I am going into it a bit more blind (and showing real examples of how other high end PvE players play the class) instead of just telling you "hey here's how you play this class and this is an example of me playing it that way." I can see upsides and downsides to both versions but I am happy to take in the feedback and consider it for future videos so thank you

Why aren;t you casting 5 flash lights before the encounter ? The stacks before the pull will remain or is this just to show us how stacls increase ?

Very helpful video. However you should be using your logs when analysing gameplay, instead of somebody else's.
I figure looking at someone elses logs gives me a better way of showing examples since I am going into it a bit more blind (and showing real examples of how other high end PvE players play the class) instead of just telling you "hey here's how you play this class and this is an example of me playing it that way."
I can see upsides and downsides to both versions but I am happy to take in the feedback and consider it for future videos so thank you
