I've been using this the last few months and I count it among a handful of things that has genuinely made me a better player. I'm surprised it doesn't get more mentions like this. I didn't even know about the shared footage feature.
As I understand it, it uses OBS to do the recording (it's built into the distribution), so the quality should be the same albeit perhaps with less control?

Just boss encounters as far as I'm aware but there may be settings to adjust that
