Do you guys have any questions about backpacking Europe? Let me know in the comments below!
About The Trip: Last May 2017, I went on a two-month backpacking trip with my Osprey Farpoint 40L Backpack -- this backpacking trip was a bucket list item that I wanted to cross off before I turned 30! Because I never studied abroad in college, I was super antsy to see more of the world. With the decision made, we saved up our money, mapped out a few European cities we wanted to travel to, and booked a ticket to London airport!
- Trip Length: About two months from May 17th - July 4th
- Time of Year: Summer
- European Countries Traveled: 11ish? We started in London and worked our way east down to Greece
- of Bags I Brought: Two (one purse and one carry-on backpack)
- Backpack Type: www.amazon.com/Osprey-Fairvie...
- Total Cost: TBD, I need to go through my receipts!

Hi everyone! Thanks for stumbling upon my backpacking video. Be sure to check out part one here: ruclips.net/video/se0hLEWtGO8/видео.html In part one, I cover clothes, shoes, hats, Wi-Fi , food, loding, trip length, etc. Happy traveling! xx
You do a great job editing your videos, Shannon! Loved it!
Thanks so much, Emily! That means a lot coming from you :) Miss you!
Shannon May miss you too!!😊
Love locks are bad for certain bridges. They add thousands of weight to them. Making them less secure. A fence on a bridge in France broke and fell into the river because it had so many lock on it
Inspiring! I have been 'under-packing' for the last few trips that I had. Last year I traveled to Europe for two weeks with a luggage that was only half-filled. My mom overpacked and had to move some of her stuff into my luggage, making mine heavy :( I don't know when I'll have the chance for a trip more than a month long, but it looks exciting and I hope the time comes soon... like, before I turn 30 or have a baby, whichever's first lol. Subbed!
Thanks so much for the comment, Bianca! :) Hope you get to have a long trip soon -- we booked this one after having a couple of glasses of wine haha. Have a wonderful week!
💕
Thanks for watching! Hope these travel tips come in handy :)
Of course. They will. Hey where in Florida are you at? I’m from Ft Myers
How many SD cars did you go through?
I brought about four (4) - two 64 GB standard SD cards and two micro-SD cards for the GoPro. We also brought a small external hard drive for a laptop if we needed to empty any of the SD cards. Go for an SD card that has a higher GB -- the GoPro, in particular, can suck up a lot of space when you're doing long timelapses. The SD Cards I brought were from the Sandisk brand. Thanks for watching, Jane!
How much did you spend money?
Hi there! For two people, we probably paid ~100 euros per day (lodging, food, entertainment, travel to/from each city, etc). Thanks for stumbling upon this video! xx
Shannon May that means 50€/day/person. Thank you so much keep up the good work
Yes! :) About 50 Euros per person/day pending the city and entertainment options. Thanks so much again for watching!
