Uncle Chael with another legendary breakdown. He’s helped us through rough times, and been the perfect pod through the greatest of life.
Retirement. He’s fought the best of the best and he’s peaked. Hell of a guy but I have good memories from him, I don’t want to see him get KOed anymore.

he literally got knocked out cold once. People are so traumatized about tony ferguson but he got knocked out cold to chandler AFTER already losing 3 fights and taking beatings in all of them. Porieir got knocked out cold and beat BSD, Alex got knocked out cold by Izzy and ran through everybody else after that without slowing down. Gaethje can still fight for a title. Most likely he has to beat Arman or something since he just lost but yeah
eh likely the same people that wanted Dustin to retire after his KO, want Volk to retire now and thought Max shoulda retired after getting his brakes beat off by Volk

I feel Justin has earned the right to do whatever he wants. The entertainment this man has bestowed upon us is one highlight after another. This last fight made no sense to me for the very reason we’re here discussing. Except to make 300 more exciting. Job done.
Let the man rest. Then when he is ready anyone in that division should be willing to step up. Just like Justin did.
Let him do what he wants. Let Justin call out whoever he wants. And when that person realizes what is coming it will be up to them to accept like a man or cower like a fake tough guy.
Justin has earned my respect many many times over. I say let him do whatever he wants. He’s earned it.

I see it a bit differently, there was no weight advantage for Gaethje . Justin lost to a 45 pounder, who was seemingly bigger than him on fight night. Weight classes are weird sometimes lol
I remember a clip of Islam talking to Kamaru Usman before Usman fought Chimaev at 185lbs. Islam looked NOTICEABLY BIGGER than Usman even though Islam was fighting at 155lbs and Usman fought at 185lbs. Weight classes are indeed crazy

What's next for Olivera?
Justin should face Oliveira and if he wins against him, give him the winner of DP/Islam. Or give him a break to heal and fight the winner of said fight eithet way. He should have had the title fight before Justin and got screwed by the company. They need to give him an actual opportunity and not a complete gauntlet that others like DP don't have to run. Max should face Topuria next as well with both titles on the line.

I just feel like Justin got used to save 300 and I'm not happy about it. Take nothing away from Max. Justin needs to learn from this to add the final finishing touches to his game. It is clear what he needs to do. Finish what was started. Short clean fundamental strikes. How do you call for the retirement of the guy fight before last knocked out the guy everyone is clamoring to fight for the title? Ridiculous.
