The fact guys say Cowboy took a dive. Nevermind the fact of calling his integrity into question, but watch fight. He gets his orbital smashed in, his nose broke with a few shoulders then wobbled with a headkick to the jaw, then battered at the side of the head to the ground and smashed into a bloody mess in 40 seconds. You take that, you'd be in an ambulance on oxygen.
Spot on!!!
Almost like a movie 👀
Donald, who’s 6’ and a great fighter, just got walked in 40 seconds flat by a 5’9” after a 2 year layoff?
You kids believe anything you see on tv. 💤
@@_007B You're so deluded it's sad. Grow up man. Grow up and stop living in fairytale land. I guess Gaethje vs Vick was fake too because Gaethje is like 5'10 and Vick is 6'1 or something.
What does a couple inches of height have to do with it? especially considering everything that was thrown initially started on the inside not at a distance where arm reach would matter 🤔
@@_007BYou are the most delusional person i’ve ever heard of you have to factor in multiple thjngs when talking about MMA not just height and weight
Cowboy is the one guy that I would ALWAYS tune in for. Legendary career and the real BMF Champ 🏆 Thanks for the memories Cowboy 🤠
he sucks
"Legendary career"...yes. "The real BMF Champ" is pushing it... fell a little short. And he's the first to admit it.
Young Cerrone was a killer until he got into those number one contender or title fights. It was like there was some sort of mental block in there. He’s still a hall of famer and a legend
Yeah he admits he struggled with getting going in there.needed one round, getting punched a bit he said.he used to do better in 5 rounders cos he got better as the fight went on and the opponent got tired. him beeing a slow starter vs conor whos known to be most dangerous in the first sounds was a bad matchup from the get go.him admitting he also was just not amped up for that fight either.
Hall of famer??! 😂😂
He meant half a farmer
Definition of a journeyman
@@stephenmackenzie2884 He's been a fan favorite forever.
Solid career Cowboy! You can hang your hat high knowing the community will always respect you, and there are fighters who are paid more but will never get to have that!
well said
Dude gave me anxiety listening to his cave diving story on rogans podcast.. if you haven’t listened to it, i suggest you go out and find it.. WILD!
He’s told that story about 9 different ways, always adding bits too it 😂😂😂
Bull shit story
Thats the scariest story ever! Dont think I could listen again😂
Hes a lucky man, that diving stuff is dangerous. They die all the time
It gave me shivers i couldn't stop thinking about it for 3 days. Man i don't even snorkel now
Cowboy vs Conor McGregor was one of the classiest interaction that both fighters had!.. there’re not many fighters or people in general that Conor compliments on clothing!.. love and respect both 👊🏽👊🏽💯
*Cowboy Cerrone is a LEGEND.*
Who took a dive for money like a spineless b!tcg
you misspelled journeyman
If he fought for 10 years that's 1 mil a year . Y'all think it's fair ?
@@unknownerror294and he would ko you in a minute 🤡
@@unknownerror294ah yes, a guy who watches ufc and calls everyone he doesn’t like a journeyman because he doesn’t know anything about the sport (and doesn’t even know what journeyman means). There’s always one tard like you in the comments, astounding how willing people are to make complete fools of themselves on the internet.
Ton of Respect for you Cowboy...Such a down to earth dude. Always wanted to meet you, def more interesting and Real than most previous and current fighters.
old man from Adelaide, love the old school attitude, respect and honour within your craft and your private life. Donald you are a legend in my eyes, humility goes a long way. I have recently stopped watching MMA, mainly because of the obvious corruption and rhetoric with certain fighters discriminatory comments. good luck to you in retirement, loved watching you compete.
That Rick Story combo was an ender on the ufc game lol. 🔥 🔥 LEGEND!!!
First msg card that was awesome. Story was tough as well
Rick story is also an all american
Meaning hes one hell of an athlete
What a legend cowboy is missing watching him fight ! Would love too see a lot more interviews from him an more off him at the ufc events Cerrone was Sucha killer in his prime
💙 I'm steadily watching you guys and I'm digging it ! Thanks for all the laughs ! Shout out JB Mauney 💙
Thanks for the support, friend ❤
Magnet a legend here even in Scotland 🏴
I knew cowboy since Tapout days! When the sport was young ones like him progressed and pushed the sport.
Much respect and fun video.
Most of the world thinks he got a money bag for that fight now we know the truth great dude man much love Dale💪🏼💪🏼💚👍🏼👍🏼
Dont come back dont fight anymore. Keep living life bro
Cerrone, don't come back and fight. You did it all. Much respect.
Was always entertaining fighter, well done 🤠 just a true professional athlete doing his dream and retiring young and seems to live life to a normal extent. 💪
You’re both great men!
Love this podcast 🤘🏻❤️
God bless you brother much respect 🙏
I love how he got Dale to pay for his gas 😂😂😂 Cowboy you well earned the 10M ! Much Respect 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Cowboy requires diesel 😅
Cowboy is a legend, 99.9% of the sh#t talkers will never amount to what he has accomplished 🙏
Man you’ve got to respect Cowboy for who he is. He’s as honest and open as they come and that’s why people respect him. He’s also a hell of a fighter when he’s on form. I could listen to him all day long. Hell always be one of my favourites ❤
Funny that he didn’t mention the he used to be terrible with his money. I remember him talking about how blew throw his dough on boats, jet skis, etc. I’m glad he’s doing better now but let’s not act like he wasn’t completely careless with his money (early/middle of his career).
Bless you Sir
Cowboy is the best. He's always been one of the best! Love that dude.
I think everyone's more so just surprised that he didn't renegotiate his contract for that McGregor fight. It's a very common thing amongst the top dog fighters to renegotiate their contracts before every fight...and especially for PPV main events of that magnitude.
Cowboy got that steroid glow like mcgregor and Zac efron had recently
Its the nose fold thingies, happens on trt.
Trt doesn't do that that's Growth Hormone
The nose fold thingy is from getting your nose broken repeatedly
cowboy absolute legend
Why? Because he went and fought whenever Dana told him to? Why don't you try start taking life seriously, and stop worshipping false idols.
Stop projecting. Be the best twink possible, you can still win your boyfriend back.
@@nickt1275 What have you done? Who's worshipping him? He's a legend in the sport of mma. Why does that bother you so much? It sounds like you're jealous.
@@3751britishcolumbia It sounds like you're jealous of people who can think original thoughts.
At a certain age in our lives (some of you are there, some will get there eventually), the thought of a simple life starts to sound better than the work it takes to have an exciting one. It's sooner for some than others, but I think we pretty much all get there.
Hey Yo, @rodeotime ask him one more question, would he do short exhibition at karate combat or BKFC if the money is right???
I would give anything in the world to meet Cowboy. I seen JB last weekend at the rodeo in Glen Rose. Great guy. But I would love to meet Cowboy.
It was a pleasure to watch Cowboy throughout his career
One of the greatest to never win a UFC title
the epitome of a fan favorite kill or be killed fighter
I wish him nothing but the best
Funny about penny pitching, when Cowboy used to blow threw his money. Win bonuses/performance bonuses are gone like a “fart in the wind” was one of the lines I remember him saying.
I’m glad he’s responsible NOW but don’t act like you’ve always been that way, lol. 😂
Cowboy is the Fucking Man,, Always My Fav Fighter never in a boring fight from His WEC days , The Music . just a Fucking Legend
Hall of Fame , Sexiest Combos & Beautiful Kicks . Nasty Nasty Leg kicks
Much respect from Ireland Cowboy!!
Cowboys the goat, one of my favorite fighters ever the realist!!
Those Mauney shirts like dale has would be awesome if they had the front pocket on em
They look like the Marlboro design.
That's the point lol @@ezsmith3765
I would buy one if it had a pocket on the left side to hold my Marlboros
If I remember correctly Cowboy always had a problem with inconsistency. Sometimes he was there, sometimes not.
He didn’t have a problem with inconsistency. He had a problem with consistency.
He laid eggs in the big fights. Sadly
The pressure would get to him. I love cowboy he would go on streaks wrecking men but the pressure of the big moment was just to much.
@@coreymichae3747i agree one thing i can say tho is he has never once made an excuse he’s what more men should strive to be
he was consistent, consistently a top 5-15 guy. good, but not elite
Cowboy is available ass in my boom win or loose always bad ass cool dude down to earth had so many fights shit like he said wun or loose ge always showed up and look at his career like 50 ufc fight unheard of all time bad ass
What ad did you guys see before the vid started? 🤔

"what a good dude", everyone seems to forget about the dolly through the bus window which injured like 2 fighters.

@@zzz7zzz9many women lie about rapes when people are rich to get money
Donald Cerrone is such a philosopher. I hope he was introduced as such.
Cerrone is a classy dude man....props
I love you cowboy!!!!!
Im proud of Cowboy he fed his family well and he is smart and a millionaire from fighting. That is impressive as hell!!!!
5:45 but don't you get PPv percentage?
fuckin love Cowboy.
Yes, that is human psychology. Fighting on a set day at a set time against another pro can be deflating.
The toughest bouncer in Las Vegas in the 90s, who did MMA Extreme Fighting and K-1, was flat on fight night. The people who knew him said he could beat any fighter as a bouncer at the clubs, which he was, even two at a time, but had no motivation in the ring.
Dana even said Cowboy was always there ready fight lol I like Cowboy no pretending seems a straight up fella
Don't ride w cowboy bc you gotta fill his truck up...got it 👌🏼😂
I was expecting Cowboy to armbar or triangle Conor. It was there immediately when McGregor tried to break Jorges KO time, missing big with the straight left. Kudos to McGregor for pushing his hips back asap.
Good man Cowboy, and you sound clear headed….. Stop while your head is still good, your older self will thank you.
I love Cowboy but everyone renegotiated their contracts when they fought Conor. That was the smart thing to do. Cowboy could've at least got ppv points. There's a way to be a "company guy" without just letting them walk all over you. Cowboy and his management did him a disservice
That shoulder was a good one
Your momma knows Dale Brisby Ol Son
I absolutely love & respect 🫡 Cowboy 🤠 he is one of my all time favorite Fighters. He’s so real & respectful.
You did what you did and have lots of fans! You are a good family man and person, now it's time to shoot all the juice and be the only one besides lane frost , ride REDROCK LOL
One of the most widely respected fighters ever!
Not even in the the top 10.He's a gate keeping asshole. I love his fights, but he's a fucking tool.
Dude Cowboy has never felt better, but Cowboys nose has never looked worse 😂
Is that from conor?
8 fights a year. That's insane. Nobody nowadays comes close to that. Cowboy is the real BMF
He never had 8 fights in a year. Not even close. I don’t even have to look it up. Off the top of my memory… in his time during the WEC/UFC days, he had maybe 4 fights in one year. Maybe ONCE he had 5 but never close to 8.
Cerrone was/is one of my favorite fighters and I ran into him a couple times in Albuquerque but he also used to blow threw his $ during the early/middle part of his career. He’s now acting like he’s always been a penny pincher. Sure, Cowboy, sure. 😂
Not only a great fighter, but a great man!
blackdog7275- Cerroni’s the man!
Max respect to Cowboy...
My fighter mount rushmore for sure
Rich folk act poor , Poor folk act Rich
Truth
Which one of these mos is "cowboy" cerrone?
Holy shit cowboy where did you get your new hair?
Turkey
He's on the juice. He's feeling good.
Aint not
If he is on juice it can't be much.....maybe TRT levels at most
he’s being tested so no
He's been open about it, trt is super good for you in the late 30s ect
He's no longer fighting so he's no longer being tested
I love cowboy
Cowboy, ur the man regardless of the outcome with Conor. All of the records that you have have got to he worth more than a win or loss? Of course, we all want to win, but you came out of that fight unhurt, really, u made money. It's weird, and this is definitely no disrespect. Every analyst has said over the years that when the lights are brightest, you just don't turn it on. As a long-time fan, I know you are capable, and I know you know you are capable. I always loved watching you fight. This goes back a bit but the first Benson Henderson fight in the WEC it was like that dude was made of rubber, how many arm bars and other submissions did you try and how he got out of that fight is mind boggling. Then I think WEC also the Jamie Varner fight, that was you all day bro and he took his exit. I know it was an illegal knee, but he didn't want anymore b4 that, and that mistake gave him his out. Sucks for you, but as long as I've been watching, I've never seen you not show up. Dos Anjos fight. I believe he got you with a nasty kick to the liver, and wow, it hurt watching it. Last one when you welcomed Mr Alvarez to the UFC and completely showed him that he was no longer in Bellator. There is no disrespect to the fighters there, but it's honestly the B league. That's why the guys that fought in the UFC and just couldn't get over that hump. They go to Bellator and are Champions. Double Champs like Ryan Bader, who never would have beat Jones or Stipe to get any of those belts. Anyway, you're the man, and you have a beautiful wife and 3 beautiful sons. Godbless you and your family 🙏🏻
Good wife good man champ on life
cowboy got that diaz nose
I designed Cowboys racing suit 💪🏾🤘🏾
It’s sad to see suddenly cowboy looked so old 😢
You can tell Donald is a company man because every big UFC fighter I have heard talk about the business say they always renegotiate after they win a couple fights.
He was very well looked after though and he used to fight 4 times a year so he'd fly through a contract.
I didn’t recognize him at first. He looks so different.
What about ppv cut?
Why would he get PPV cut? He's not a champion.
Man his nose got JACKED
Didn't Stephen A. Smith say he quit in that fight and caught hell for it??? I mean, not trying to defend SAS but Cowboy just admitted it.
Holy shit, I'd forgotten all about that. Good call back.
Respectable Dana: Hey you're fighting Connor and we are making a shit ton of money for this comeback...Here's an extra million dollars. You have been so dependable and an absolute beast and crowd favorite. All of your fights have been so entertaining. This is the least of what you deserve.
06:35 - correct 200k isnt a bad payday
I can't take guys seriously who are wearing sunglasses in a closed room. This is just plain stupid.
Donald Cerrone is such a great human being.
I don't know shit about the behind-the-scenes business, but it sounds like there's more to the story than just signing long contracts. There are fighters on record (with proof of their purses online) saying the Conor fight(s) was by far the highest paying of their career. Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier for example. I'm pretty sure they still had fights left on their contract.
fight starts, he's already acting like he's hurt and leaning into Conor. This is why UFC is not considered a professional sport, and this guy proves it. Cerrone took that paycheck like a king
How could he not renegotiate. Fair enough if he didn’t want the money but that’s daft not asking for some of that PPV money when you know McGregor is gonna be getting some
Cowboy is starting to slur his words... and its not from the budweiser.. thst man took too much damage in the end of his career that was not necessary whatsoever. Its sad
His shoulder was deadly
Need to change his name to “Boy” after he punked out on that fight
We KNEW it, everyone i know, that he quit in the octagon. Some people call that a dive.
Cowboy saying Conor's only win since 2016 was a gift.
The sunglasses inside are hard to stomach
Interview TCAV , Taylor Cavanaugh Navy SEAL.
He has morphed into Bret Hart.
He may not have been the best fighter but he was one of the baddest MFS the in the UFC cowboy was always one of my favorites
I want to know how cowboy felt about Conor disregarding the glove touch and just swinging on him
Ahhh the girly touch glove
I cought billy crystal taking a dump
Was it a coiler or a loaf?
@@SammyPeterson-zk7jb yes, was really elaborate
cerronne was good sometimes and bad others. very inconsistent but likeable as a person. think he was royally messed over for the purse on that with conor.
