I've got it I switched from my Note 8 that I loved and had for 3 yrs... It's fuckin amazing what can happen over 3 yrs.... The s20 fe 5g has a 30+ mp frontcamera which is crazy to think about and it has all flagship hardware for half the price of flagship, had the Note 20 come with a MicroSD card I would've got it but that was the main reason I decided to go with a phablet phone that didn't have a stylus, my 128gb MicroSD Card has 3yrs worth of stuff I can't just throw away
The ultra wide shots on the FE are fixed for barrel distortion, stretched lines don't mean distortion. Look the iPhone has so much distortion at 3:56 , whereas the S20 FE is fixed! Max Yurev pointed out that it was not a proper reason by Google that more the angle of view, more the distortion whereas the FE is doing fine. Pixel 5 is consistent at capturing very noisy images at night, probably the S765G isn't as capable for clearing noise without sacrificing details. The limited indoor shots by Max Yurev also showed each of the shots were clearer, more detailed and less noisy with the FE. The 3x on the FE is also a great feature.. proper optical zoom.
I’m using 11 Pro and the 14.2 beta update completely destroyed image processing so my photos are terrible quality at the moment. However, I have always preferred pixel’s photo processing more than iPhones, and Samsung has drastically improved. Based on your review I would pick S20 FE. iPhone did the worse in each shot, pixel and s20 fe were very closely tied but pixel was less consistent.
Pixel 5. Samsung and the iPhone both have a tendency to blow out highlights too much, which I can't un-see. I admit the gap is really close now though. They've mostly caught up on stills and the Pixel has mostly caught up on video. I have an issue with Samsung's over-saturation as well. Yeah it can make some scenes more dramatic, but it also makes some objects look like they're glowing...look at the pictures of the mushroom (2:11). I really don't like the face-smoothing thing Samsung does...if you could turn it off, I'd consider it a feature. But I don't want that "on" all the time.
For people who like to post Instagram Stories video in Full HD iPhone is the right choice. If I try to upload a full hd video from my S10+ to my ig stories it'll only upload as crappy 480x908 and sometimes 720x1360 and not 1080x1920 (full hd), which seems like only iphones can, maybe because supposely Apple pays for this exclusivity. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ The Galaxy S10+ was launched with a native camera integration with Instagram app, even the Instagram CEO was in the stage of the Samsung event, but, guess whath, even with that, after upload, no full hd. What a mess..............
From a camera point of view the Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S20 fe are the two best here, but for people who like decent zoom, like me, the Pixel is terrible with the digital zoom and on balance the better S20FE camera setup coupled with real camera controls in Pro mode make it far better for anyone really interested in mobile photography. The iPhone is just not as good as either phones. However the Samsung is the one to get. The Pixel with it's lower level chipset, vs a flagship chipset on S20FE, the old UFS 2.1 fixed storage on the Pixel vs newer expandable UFS 3.1 on the Samsung, the 90hz OLED screen vs Super Amoled 120hz on S20 fe, the excellent quality sound from the Samsung vs the really awful sound quality from the Pixel 5 (it's even worse than Pixel 4 and it wasn't great to begin with). Plus Pixel with18w charging 4000mah battery vs 25w 4500mah on the Samsung, which actually charges faster than the Pixel despite the far bigger battery. And finally stock Android which for a few years now has just been the previous years version of One UI. The Pixel is in essence an overpriced midrange phone vs. The Samsung which is a similarly priced close to flagship device. The S20FE will sell in tens of millions and the Pixel might manage a million or two and there's a reason. The Pixel is a very mediocre device. For $400 you can get an equivalent phone with a 90hz display, expandable storage, bigger battery and decent enough cameras. Pixel doesn't even have in display finger print, or convenient face unlock.
LOVE THIS COMMENT, Thank YOU! Finally after about a month of deciding between these 3 phones and 1+8 I'm going for the S20 FE and lol I'm already a Samsung user so it's a no brainer especially after reading this comment. cuz I was about to go for the pixel 5 but most definitely now I'm going for the S20 fe!!
@@ibrahimadan2437 you've made the best decision. I've been comparing the S20 FE, Pixel 5 and OP 8T and I'll be returning two of them next week. I'm keeping the S20 FE because it's such a great all round device and is the one that feels closest to a flagship priced over $1000. Cameras are the most versatile and in my opinion are better than the Pixel (except the main lens and selfie). The Pixel and the S20 FE are made for completely different users I feel, but for sheer value the S20 FE is definitely the better device. As a pixel fan I'm pretty disappointed in the Pixel 5 because there's not much of an upgrade over the 4 & 4a. A Snapgragon 865 processor, better speakers, telephoto lens, SD card, 4k front video, or even a headphone jack would've been great but it misses out on too much. I've seen a real bias towards google/pixel devices with RUclipsrs over the last few weeks. I've even seen a few reviewers say the Pixel is the best phone to buy over the competition when they've received the Pixel 5 for FREE! Of course people are entitled to opinions but some of these reviewers don't even compare them properly in the videos. They deliberately only show the Pixel's strengths and skip over the flaws, and do the exact opposite for the S20 FE & OP 8T. The bias is very noticeable. The pixel 5 is not better than the S20 FE for most people and the main camera is not even that much better in comparison, in fact the S20 FE's cameras are more useful for most people. OP 8T is not as good as the S20 FE and also cuts too many corners compared to the flagships, also the cameras are average.
@@JR28. Bless you too!!! I've 100% made up my mind the pixel is just a midranged phone with ip68, wireless charging that's it but the 20fe is flagship level with the 120hz, bigger display, and etc and I love gaming so the fe is the one and overall it's just it's better. THANK YOU TOO! N I'm a Samsung user but I thought the pixel was better for photography but I guess not so I'm going for the 20 fe!
I'm actually torn between Pixel and s20 fe as my next phone. I'm pretty surprised that so many people say Samsung makes the best shots, as in my opinion pixel is the better one. The problem is I absolutely hate the phone itself, especially stock android, no screen fingerprint reader, etc. So it's a tough choice :/

Thinking about the same , I could pay 559€ for a brand new s20 but in comparation it just look to have a worst camera than the s20 fe , specially on the selfie camera.
I think I'll go with the fe. It seems more consistent compared to the other two, except for the selfies. Has more versatility as well. No one would ever imagine that an upper midranger from Samsung could be better than a pixel phone but most of the times here it takes better or equivalent shots to pixel. Samsung S20 FE is best , coz its has wireless charging, fully waterproof, 120hz display , superb camera , 5G ,25w fast charger , link with windows, telephoto lens , and much much more.......which the other phones lack
I’m impressed! Apart from low light photos with the iPhone’s ultra wide, I find my self liking the iPhone 11 best for most photos and videos. The Pixel 5 was consistently my second favourite and wasn’t a huge fan of the FE, even though it was still quite good. While having night mode on the iPhone’s other cameras would be really nice, I’m still very happy with my 11 and don’t find myself wishing for night mode on the ultra wide very much at all. Still extremely impressed with how good the cameras are on that phone!
U haven't seen the 40MP front selfie camera on the fe 5g its fuckin amazing. The iPhone 11 can't compare, when I'm doing video calls with people they have all told me it looks like I'm using a dalr camera and not a phone
In my humble opinion the pixel is losing it's edge in the computational photography game. You can go back to the pixel3 and get the exact same results. So I believe Google is sitting on their one time comfortable lead that they had with photos? The proof is in the pudding. The FE is almost there but needs more work. But 🍎 has caught Google with their panties down, very much improved & videos are unmatched, just saying? I'm not an 🍎 fan but my eyes don't lie, 🍎's photos are just better, not in all but most?
Iphone selfie at 6:47 doesn't seem accurate. iPhone smoothes the skin. That photo is edited or coming from a different phone. I have an iPhone 11 as well and it never shows good skin detail.

Samsung's processing is still terrible. Google unfortunately has stagnated, so other brands are catching up and have already surpassed in some ways, like dynamic range. I'm curious for the iPhone 12 results!

It's impossible. HOWEVER, in Android 11, all new Samsung phones are forced to remove it.

All three are very good. I chose the FE, price & features. 549.00, Amazon's Black Friday deal. It's a no-brainer at this price!
iPhone 11 is the best, its camera and software give the most balanced and correct result. This is my opinion as a photographer.
All Chinese and Samsung photos have never had accurate colours.and skin smoothing evident too.

iPhone 11 is now 1 year old. lol
Time flies fast wow
Tired of 6.5 inch displays. I guess pixel 5 is the only choice for me.
You can go for the pixel 4a 5G
Do it with the 12 mini when it comes out
Why are you making this video now? Considering the fact that the iPhone 12 was announced? Seems a little bit of a waste considering the fact that no one in there right mind would buy an iPhone 11 of 12.
iphone 11 will now be 599 vs 799 for iphone 12
Lots of people will be looking at the 11 not everyone had deep pockets !!!
4K 60fps? Camera wy?
Thank you! It was a really good and fair review.
shoot raw on samsung s20 and it blows the other phones away
Watching on my s20fe
Samsung's processing is still terrible. Google unfortunately has stagnated, so other brands are catching up and have already surpassed in some ways, like dynamic range. I'm curious for the iPhone 12 results!
Usually Samsung looks more saturated but here I don't know if it's just me but it actually looks duller than the others.
Yes samsung pictures looks duller. Also samsung video stabilization is not good.
Pixel 5 hands down.
