That’s a smart business decision. Get the truck looked at after you’ve had it out there for a minute. I don’t think you want to go to Kansas, buddy of mine lives there and he sent me some pictures. It’s snow everywhere and it’s a mess. And it ain’t warm over there either. Be safe brother.👍👍👍
Nice Video, remember Michigan get the weather from Chicago and the great lakes effect with more moisture in the air and get a lot more snow fall. But need a winter front for colder weather. Unless you use a piece of card board and bungees on the front grill. I would get a winter front to help with heating up the water temperature and keep the engine warmer and steady warm temperature. Take care and keep the rubber on the road.
Mad respect to the grind !! Gotta hit those pushups bro , hope to see the rig on the road one day!..Keep motivating pple , helping me chase my dream Pete! Keep the vids rolling , stay safe Driver
They should have some integrity and honor the agreement that had before the strike took place unload all the loads that they ordered before they went on strike!
HELLO BRO, THAT US FOOD DROP WAS A GOOD CONTENT, & U HANDLED THE SITUATION A - 1. U WENT AN TOOK UR MIND TO ANOTHER LEVEL. I SEE U WENT AN FELL ON DEM HANDS, GREAT PASS TIME THING TO DO! GOOD TO SEE U DO WHAT U DO. LOVE IT!!! GOING TO CHECK THE REST OF THE VID. STAY BLESSED!!!!! CATCH U NEXT VID 😎, 10 - 4 WE OUT...💯
Just seen you’re truck at 75 chrome shop, I am from Ohio as well and just got my CDL. I always wondered if I’d see you being from Ohio it’s wild I did in Florida lol Stay safe driver!
Dealt with a similar situation, but instead of a strike, the whole shift where I was delivering to had quit. Waited there docked 11 hours to find that out.
That happen to me a few years ago at other company. They told me to leave a ND check back in four days I returned with the only thing I could come up with if I leave with this load you can come get it at my house in four days. I got unloaded. Only reason they gave in was there customers needed the next day
I've always hated going to US Foods, even if they weren't on strike, they still take their time unloading but I didn't know lumpers were Union. Stay safe and stay blessed brother
Salute and Respect ALWAYS FAM. It's crazy and ridiculous how these companies and corporations don't want to pay their drivers and warehouse personnel knowing that it's going to be issues and problems for the o/o and outside company truckers especially trying to meet other scheduled drops or pick-ups. Hate conflict, but glad you were able to get through the Kaos to keep them wheels turning and making them earnings💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰 Excellent attitude and positive mindset has blessed you tremendously since day one. Be blessed and safe out there on the roads and continue to keep it coming hard and strong on your content and videos....💯👍💪🤜🙏🐐⛓️👊⛓️🐐🙏🤛💪👍💯
And they are the ones that’s making the company billions of dollars. They don’t wanna raise pay or make sure there work environment is safe it’s crazy man 🤦🏾♂️
Do you think trucking is still worth it for rookies? I want to live that O/O life, but I'm always hearing about rates going down and that its safe to just be a company driver.
Nice rig. I havent drove the speed before still trying to figure out that the 18 spd? Beasty your changing gears without shifting. I guess that's Peteboy problems😂, i only drove FL n volvo.
Lol I’m a big Michigan fan even though I live in the buckeye myself i thought I was gonna have to regret referring a polish guy to you from Middletown until you was saying your for Michigan against Washington which was an ass whoopin I thought
I always wired a momentary switch on it side on the floorboard next to clutch wired to the jakes. Could hit it with the side of my boot to cut off the jakes when I shifted. It sounds like you forgot to shut them off. Screw the unions. Don’t do anything for you.
@@InterstateMadeMe Don’t feel bad we all do. Those switches work. You lay it down to use the side of your foot. It’s one wire to the on and off switch. I did 37’ years in a big truck and did it to every truck.
if you drive in snow you outa thank on geting onspot chains @casey ladelle operats a towtruck and highly recamends onspot chains there safer and youll have them when ya need to use them with out geting in the cold to chain up he has a video explaning them
It's just me back in my day before I got my CDL 30 yes ago I worked on a dock and I never said I can't unload 50 trucks by myself cuz I would unload 75 to 80 trucks a day by myself I know back then there was less paperwork to do well it was easier then lol but still I'm just saying nowadays people don't want to work hard that's just me talking
THAT CRAZY ABOUT THE STRIKE GET YOU A COUPLE OF BOTTLES OF ANTI GEL FOR YOUR FUEL TANKS AND SOME WINTER BLADES SENCE IT IS WINTER THINK ABOUT GETTIN A APU FOR THE TRUCK BE SAFE CUZ IT'S -15 DOESN'T MEAN IT'S NOT GOIN TO BE A WHITE OUT CONDICTION
hey do you daily uploads bc this is 8 days ago for me im new to the channel all the way from the netherlands i wish i could get to usa get my license for trucking there and work xd
@InterstateMadeMe With motors today anything over 1750-1800. Over extending a rod or spinning a bearing is never good. I understand straights make em louder but you can hear the resonance difference when ur over revving.
Yea I just wanted to make sure what you said is exactly where I keep my RPM 1700-1800 is where my Detroit loves to shift. And I downshift and Jake at the same RPM. I give her exactly what she like cause she will let me know when I’m doing something wrong
@@InterstateMadeMe oh nice. I thought it was a cool trucker thing I didn't know about lol. Keep up the good work man I really enjoy watching big purple 👍
Hey bro I'm new to your page I like yo style home Im bout a year and a half in this trucking game fam put some game on a brother mane I'm trying drive 1 of those pretty MFS like u my boy DAT MF clean 💪🏿💯
You do know you don't have to split every gear every single time you go thru the gears right? All you are doing is putting unnecessary wear and tear on your truck and reducing your fuel mileage
You right. Ain’t no sense in getting upset about something you don’t have no control over. Least you’re getting paid for it. Awesome video brother.👍👍👍
Exactly 💯💯
You absolutely have control......Don't yank reefer or deliver to food warehouses. Worked well for 38 years!
@matt89108 I don't drive trucks so wtf does "yank reefer" mean?
@@blackoutgang09 Pull a reefer trailer.
Food warehouses always sucked to deliver to!
That’s the truth
Man handled that like a true pro kept pushing to the money
Ain’t got time to wait cause we got stuff to do

How do you normally find loads to haul, do you use load brokers, or do you find your own loads?
I do all my own dispatching and I use DAT and TruckSmarter.
There’s a lot of back and forth with a refused load. I don’t think “the guy in the yard told me so” is gonna work lmao. Bless his heart tho
He was right have to give to him lol
So, it’s illegal for a driver to hold a load hostage or delay it’s delivery , but not a receiver, right?
Exactly it’s crazy
What outside ambient temperature do you not run truck in the winter 🥶.?
Yes I sure do
I was there 2 weeks ago with Veterans trucking they made us drop our trailers and leave

Almost every load
turning on a jake just to make noise is the reason jakes are banned all over !!

Everyone needs to understand.... High RPM jaking IS NOT GOOD ON MOTOR COMPONENTS
What do you consider high RPM jacking?
@InterstateMadeMe With motors today anything over 1750-1800. Over extending a rod or spinning a bearing is never good. I understand straights make em louder but you can hear the resonance difference when ur over revving.
Ok are you just speaking in general or something pertaining to the video before I speak on anything that I do ?
@InterstateMadeMe Just in general. No shade on you. Just a lot of videos out there of clowns. U know what I'm saying
