I’ve had mine for a year and I’ve gotten four chips in my windshield and I don’t drive like that either. I guess it’s just dirty roads from where I live.
I own the 2012 TTSE in radiant red; purchased in 2022 with 130k but runs like butter with little to no rust on the rear differential. I’m building it out to overland and absolutely love my FJ!
I ordered mine in 2006, received it in 2007. Love my 2007 TRD FJ solid black. She sleeps in the garage, taken great care of her. Only 36k original miles. Everything is the same as the day I bought her. She has the lights on top. Every time I get in, she makes me smile. For the right price I would consider selling her.
I have a 07 fj, unfortunately a drunk driver hit me a few months ago, BUT I decided to bite the bullet and fix her up, when inspecting her, it tounds out there was no frame or radiator damage!
Nice effort! I picked up a 2012 FJB Edition FJ last November with 169,500 miles on it. It has the roof air dam with the lights and a set of lights on the bumper with “FJ” covers. It’s Cavalry Blue. It has the 17” stock rims on it. I put Toyo AT3’s on it 3 months ago. I put front brakes and rotors on it. I had Toyota reverse flush the transmission. I had to put a new rear gate locking mechanism in it. I had the oil changed. No leaks. Gets 16-19 mpg. It’s my 48 mile round trip daily driver. I gave $19,999 for it. I absolutely love it! 😊
I have the 2014 Trail Teams Ultimate Edition in Heritage Blue. I have loved it for more than 9 years. I bought the thing brand new in 2014 for less than $40,000.00. It’s crazy to see how much people will pay for them now. I just bought a brand-new truck, so I’m doing research right now to see what a reasonable asking price would be for mine. …I may be selling. - 225,000 miles. - Runs great! - One incident where a deer didn’t yield to me - resulting in a little body work. - A couple small door dings. - I had the grill painted black. …I wasn’t a fan of the white. - I had a tough looking grill guard put on. Basically, I would say it is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition. …With all those miles, I can’t say EXCELLENT. 😊 Given that it’s the “Trail Teams Ultimate Edition”, I’m thinking I could potentially ask upper 20s to lower 30s. …But still researching. If anyone has any feedback, I welcome your input.
@@rogerbussiii I do. But I haven't done any prep work to put it up for sale. Also, I need to determine how much is reasonable to ask for it. I do have 95% of the receipts/invoices supporting maintenance/repairs. (...I suggest that I probably have "all" of the receipts/invoices, but I can't guarantee. 🙂)
@@rogerbussiii I have to study. I'm not sure what my asking price should be. It does have a lot of miles, but I have maintained it well. Thanks for the offer. I will hurry and do my research.
@@duckydave3481 it has milage but if you've done the tranny fluid and coolant at regular intervals it's in good shape... coolant becomes acidic and eats at gaskets.. other than that they'll last. I drive mine a lot on highways and, for years, have not had to change my front windshield. I do agree with you about the black on black. I like my white top.
“Mad rich” lol love it. I’ve seen more of the “rare” dark cherry pearls around here in VA than the blues and purples honestly. Haven’t seen many red. I like the solid army green and the tan, but that grey is just sick!!! Of course I love the all black. My 2021 4Runner TRD ORP w/XP Predator package is midnight black metallic!!!
I bought the 2007 model early in April, 2006. I absolutely love, love, love, this vehicle. Unfortunately, I've had to replace the windshield multiple times. I currently have more than 220,000 miles on it and it feels as if it's just getting started. 😂. I love this vehicle!!
I own the 2007 6 speed manual. With 320,000 still runs like the day I bought it.. put a new clutch in at 200.000. A few alternator's. But that's all. Best truck I ever owned
Bought my 2007 in Red with manual transmission with 79k for 16K$, added TRD wheels with bf goodrich rubber and TRD exhaust and baja dynamics ditch lights. I told myself that i would only put a couple of thousand miles a year on it, it's been 7 years and 50k miles. I can't help myself, it's so much fun to drive almost an addiction, thank goodness for high gas precises or I would put more miles on
Damn I just missed out on the dark red in a manual.... I was gonna try to get it at a dealer in my town. I was stupid and waited too long! It only had 111,000 miles!!
I have a 2007 Black Cherry Pearl that is what I thought the color was called its auto 4x4 loaded up ,its still nice looking. at 142,000 miles. The color when I bought it was pretty rare there was only one other one in the state of Texas according to the Toyota web site that would let you see where FJ were at and price back then. Been kept in the garage all these years drives like a new Toyota . Might sell if someone made the right offer .
Nice video, thanks! I have solid Army Green, 2010 (no white top) I can't really find any info on it. Possible due to the typhoon in Japan at the time, some were shipped early without the top paint being completed.
@@hakosan86 yes.. love it! i did some undercoating and change all fluids including coolants and oil from differentials.. and replace all filters including cabin filters.l for worry free future 🤣
Just because its Black blend in with a 4runner..??? That's ridiculous, they're both Toyotas but both have distinct enough differences to be considered 2 totally different Animals... IMO..
Hit a curb with my rear wheel in the passenger side, normal turning speed and i dont see any visible damages, should i be worried or have it checked? Thank you

Same here and that's what i say too, don't ride people's tails and you shouldn't have a problem with cracks
