Every farm has a bucket with scrap bits of metal exactly like that one. Farms are all a little different, but they are all the same too. Love these videos... I work on my own farm then come in and watch you farm while I’m having coffee... lol. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoy watching your videos. I am a 70 year old woman and recall my grandfather’s small dairy operation when it was all done by hand. Lucky you that you can still drink that fresh from the cow milk!
Thank you SO much for taking us all around on your farm activities.I gave up farming just 5 years ago(for a lot of good reasons)and I really appreciate you taking us along on all the jobs you do. Makes me feel right at home! Remembering all the challenges my father and I worked through over the years! Keep having fun and be careful! Any pups yet?
I was raised on a tobacco and produce farm in the southeast . If I could go back and turn my 19 year old self around and not leave it I would. The best and purest days of my life with my family.
I bet your dad and family are proud of you, you seem to show a lot of initiative and hard working, hopefully you have a bright future in the dairy/farming industry. I only have a smaller farm but I wish I was 10X bigger than I was, I love the lifestyle!!
Lucas Huybers After years of dealing with all thread I learned how to solve that issue. Take you an on broken drill bit or piece of rod or a bit, place it in a drill with about 3-4” sticking out, then wrap duct tape around it sticky side out till it’s about an inch round. Put your drill parallel to the nut, pull the trigger and have the sticky tape beside the nut and it will run up or down the all threaded as fast as you can keep up.
Handy tip, put the nut on the rod first, then cut the rod to length, back the nut off and it will clean up the threads for you, makes threading them on much easier.
And, while we're on that when you run the lag into the wood dip it in carpenters glue first. It will spin in easier and hold tight for longer. Luv your vids.
77 here tomorrow and 80 on Friday. But gets cool in the 60s next week. Not looking forward to that. Hope it warms up for u guys. Cant wait to see spring there.
10th Generation Dairyman Here in northeastern Wi. frozen ground, 2” of ice, 3’ of snow. Rain last night, mid 50s today = local flooding! Next 4/5 days highs in mid 30s to low 40s, nights below freezing, that will help!
Hey Eric, with the amount of repairs you do for the tractor and all the other equipment, you should put on your Christmas list a Milwaukee fuel, 18v lithium ion 1/2 inch drive high torque impact wrench. I bought one of these a couple years ago, and let me tell you it is a game changer. It has something like 1400 ftlbs of reverse torque and over 600 ft lbs forward torque. It is incredibly strong, and will blow away that Dewalt impact driver. Trust me you will not regret spending the money on this thing. I have also accumulated most of the Milwaukee family of the M18 and M12 cordless tools, they are the best, once you own these you will wonder how the heck you got along without them. I am not a sponsor from Milwaukee, just my own opinion. Try these, you will thank me later. Peace my friend! Love all the videos, I would love to be on a farm, dont know if I could keep up with all the work you guys do, I had no idea, I knew farmers worked hard, but dam I didnt realize how hard. Wow.
The liquid spreader has steering? Very interesting, would love to see it when you get back in the shop. 6 wheels must put an awful strain on them rims and bearings. Good video, thanks
Does the case only spreads manure with the tanker or does it also do other jobs? Because otherwise you could take the linkage arms of so they’re not in the way while spreading
The DeWalt cut off best tool and so are cordless tools only thing always bring spare batteries and also see you using a stick welder we have a wire one.
What do you think about the trioliet mixer wagon has it been good? Im intrested because we are thinking about getting one ourselves. Sorry for bad english.
At :50 and 1:20 you should measure the threaded rod then cut it outside. Throwing sparks and hot metal around with a grinder (or welder) in an old wooden barn is a sure recipe for disaster...
Really enjoy watching you do what you think are mundane things, keep on my friend, 10K is coming soon! Never seen a soy bean meal hauler before! How does it work?
Eric, you have a boatload of subscribers. Like the Mountain Dew shot, you should start taking earnings from product placements !! I'd bet you get plenty of sponsors........
a subject for you to pick up a batties power grease gun my dad was the same way in a thing does not need it wasite of money he said after I let him try mine out, he has bought over 200 of them we do service work for a dealership and we have some many differ greases we have to carry 2 to 20 guns we have on hand special grease we just have 2 guns of this that many guns and power tools have a full-time person looking after all the lools here and n the field work
Eric: good job on wearing eye protection with the grinder! But PLEASE do your kids a favor and wear hearing protection as well! Your family won’t have to yell at you when you’re old!

We never had a real fancy dairy. I still miss it. Your videos bring back memories. Thanks. Jessie Nebraska farmer.

You and Andrew Camararta would have a good day doing odd jobs together :)Am enjoying your channel thanks for posting :)
I came from andrews channel too. RUclips algorithm is detecting hard working fellas'
That's true. Those two are like human dynamos.
Quick tip. When your cutting down a bolt put the nut on first and then cut it down. When you back it out it will fix the threads you cut.
Thanks

@@lucashuybers9040 thats why you use split nuts for all thread rods when making custom bolt lengths.
@@ashleywynn4923if only I could comprehend complex thought processes
@@lucashuybers9040 I'll thread the nut on before I push the rod through the hole since that side is shorter.
You work HARD for all of us! THANK YOU!
You and Your Dad make a Good Team ! You are both Lucky to have each other. Bulldog
I have been binge watching your videos and enjoying them a lot. Nice to see how it all happens and where delish milk comes from, really.
Good Work, I enjoy your entire presentation.
A tip, you put the nut on before you cut the rod, then use the nut to just chase the threads.
🤗nothing quite like having a Dad around farm, they are priceless.
LOL the gym work out you got for the day. Ahh to be young again
Yes it's nice having dad back!

Hard working farmer 👍🏻 I wish my son had 1/4 of your drive 👩🌾

Yes we like ours a lot. Only wish it had a second gear to clean off the augers better.
How does the heifer conveyer belt work
The floor of the conveyor slowly disappears
Happy birthday Gillian
2:33 cover those connections. the red and white wires . the other two wires , if they touch that might heat the one that broke.

Glad to see the mt dew has returned
But I did see it fall hope it was empty.

Looks like a wise choice not filling the cart full. Would and made a heavier draw on the batteries and probably ended up dead half way back.
That hitch is ag spec now
Dewalt makes grease guns. I think you need to have a battery operated one!
That'd be nice
Milwaukee m18 grease guns are better than dewalt
Loveeeeee the videos
Which country brother
It's like I swimming pool outside it will be deeper water tomorrow
Wen we did chorus my pants were wet still love yor videos
Good job bro
We finally see how u would look in 10-20 yrs time!😅😅 like ur daddy!💪💪💪

The cows need to graze on open pasture. They look so sad.
They aren't sad plus it's winter so pastures are muddy with no growth. We get a lot of our animals outside once it's nice.
😊😊😘
i live on a dairy farm in australia and we milk nearly 3000 cows
