After watching something like this, it just makes me angry that all you hear about is how poorly all these animals get treated so that we can have milk, beef, eggs, etc. I haven't been following along too long at all, but these folks sure seem like they care about everything they do and all they care for in a beautiful way. Grateful for these windows into the world outside my apartment! Also - one of my favorite verses there at the end. Thanks for sharing!

Dairy farmers rule! Glad I was born and raised on a dairy farm. You learn the importance of hard work at a young age. I'm a 19 year technician at Messicks now. I love to get out to the farms on service calls. Beats working in the shop.

Guys your job is very tough which looks so comfortable due to the modern machines. We in India our farmers do the daily routine by animal power or bare hands. But the amount of work which you hv done is unmatched..
If all farmers are given such modern equipments the the equation could be much different. They will be unstoppable..
All the best dear...love from India.

My Family had a Dairy Farm in south Jersey. I remember being a kid and going out for rides in the big combine and watching them work. Wish it was still operational. Love the videos!

Dairy farming is the hardest kind of farming. You have to grow feed, feed animals, keep them clean and healthy, keep parlors clean, haul manure to fields. Its like a combination of crop farming and beef farming x 2 . Huge respect for dairy farmers..

    This isn’t a job!
    This is a life! 👍
    Amazing channel!
You can put international educator on your CV much respect and admiration from Denmark
Ps: you are a pretty tech savvy guy, all new Mercedes and new trucks in general they don’t have mirrors. But camera’s as side view mirrors!
So instead of you having to hurt your neck by keep looking around. Just put your go pro and a iPad mount it to the right. And put the camera at the angle you need to see the equipment!
I don’t think it’s that expensive because you are extremely handy to fix the problems you encounter.
Well it was just idea! 👍

My dad was a Wisconsin dairy farmer. All the boys in that family had these huge Popeye arms from manually milking cows. And I asked my dad why he left the farm - and one of the reasons he mentioned was milking cows early in the am and having them sling a crap filled tail in his face. Glad to see it's cleaned up since the 1940s/50s.....
