    The numbers don't lie. Price/performance makes the 7700x hard to recommend, especially in light of the fact that you can also run the 13600k on a Z690 DDR4 board.
    Looks like Intel wins this round.

      I don't disagree with your points on value and performance for either Intel CPU.
      However, the numbers might be deceiving, as the AMD Ryzen CPU was attached to a motherboard of lesser quality than either of the Intel CPUs.

      @@abigailsexton7630 Fair point...but I doubt an objectively 'better' AM5 motherboard would have made much of a difference here. These results are appearing across pretty much ALL reviews. I'm using a 5800x, but I see no compelling incentive to upgrade to AM5. The value simply isn't there...now coupled with cheaper parts outperforming it? As an AMD 'fan', even I can admit that they've been bested here.

      Well, if you care about power consumption and longevity you are better off with AM5. That is if you are building a new PC. if you are just upgrading from old LGA 1700 mb, then yeah, stick with Intel. But I agree that AMD needs now to lower prices. ;-)

      @@JeremyArchie I'm not seeing what you are seeing regarding ALL reviews in favor of Intel, but I certainly do see favorable reviews for intel when comparing Ryzen 7700X against the i5 13600k, which is amazing performance to price for intel, like you said.
      Another potential issue in the match-up, is that only an Nvidia card is being used. Ryzen CPUs not always, but "usually" prefer AMD based GPUs such as Radeon.
      I will not bash Intel, it is very strong. I'm just saying that I don't think the Ryzen is getting a fair deal in this review, although it looks like the poster of this video really did try to be objective.

      Yeah I like AMD but damn the value for production workloads on a 13600k is insane too. 20 threads for $300-320!

    Hello, please someone help me, I'm really undecided, between the two processors shown in the video, which of the two do you recommend? some say that r7 for its energy consumption and longevity, others that i5 13600k because it is good in games and better in productivity, I don't know which one to choose hahaha.

    Hi 👋🏽, So i decided to to buy the new i5 but the problem is i have an air cooler from cooler master called “ma610p” can it hold this massive power coming from this cpu(the heat )?

    looks like I might go with the i5-13600K over the 12700K, I stream and play 1080p Fortnite with an RTX 3060 + 16GB DDR4 3600mhz, currently on an i7-9700 (non-K) which is underperforming should be Awesome! might have to tweak Power limits or do Undervolting with intel XTU tho due to thermals depending. , i'll still wait until blackfriday because EVGA's power supplies are Ridiculously high nowadays, in august an 850W 80+ Gold fully modular was $105, now they are at $180, so dumb, they prob doing this so in black friday they put it at around like $120-130$. and be like: OMG -30% OFF!!!! lol

      bro i have 12400f with 3070 and performing very well no bottleneck , and u have 3060 even 12100f is bottleneck about 3-5% not even talking about 12400f it would be gpu bottleneck

    • @ZealousPumpkinTV
      @ZealousPumpkinTV Год назад

      @@zzzzview2560 i'd rather have GPU bottleneck than CPU bottleneck, especially since I stream, as long as the GPU is being utilized to the max, that's fine, it's not like I'm missing anything, the CPU has headroom I can use for OBS, and other software in the background, I used to have a GTX 1060 earlier this year and this 3060 is sufficient for my needs at 1080p, besides, I mainly play fortnite which is a CPU dependent game, the real problem would be if I paired an i5-10400F with an RTX 3080ti, the 3080ti wouldn't even use more than 60% of it's power. (ofc it's not good if you want to pair an i7-12700K with a GTX 1050) but in my case i5-13600K + RTX 3060 is not a bad pair. (Especially if you need a powerful CPU for streams and CPU bound games)
