more speed better ram usage less ram timing better cpu gaming fps so if you get the fastest ddr4 with the best timing get 32gb dual 2x16gb and you will beat a ddr5 ram with slow timing
@@MRgemmuHigher CL definitely matters. DDR4 4000 CL16 is faster than DDR5 7600 CL34. CL effects your CPU and Ram latency a lot, and most games prefer faster cores and low latency.
@@MRgemmu It doesn’t utilize differently, it’s just double the data rate. So instead of being 2:1 (4000mhz when your actual ram speed is 2000mhz) it is 4:1. So that makes (8000mhz when you actual speed is 2000mhz) literally 4000 ddr4 is nearly the same as 8000 ddr5. The only difference is you get more bandwidth and most games don’t scale evenly with bandwidth.
@@galeanoandres thank you for the reply! You would be correct, a 13600k would be much cheaper and consume less power. I have always purchased the I-7 xx700k of every CPU I've ever had, It's just a preference, hell it's more of a tradition of mine.
Hi, I have a ddr4 3600mhz ram with an i7 13700k processor and an rtx 4070ti. My problem would be that with warzone 2, if I use dlss, there is only 60% GPU usage. What makes this possible? would my ram be weak? Should it be 4000mhz? Can you help?
When you enable DLSS it automatically makes your game CPU limited. Every Gpu does this when you enable DLSS it’s completely normal behavior. And you don’t need to upgrade to ddr5, overclock your ddr4 to 3800 CL14-14-14-34 or 4000 CL 16-16-16-39. DDR4 4000 CL16 is faster than Ddr5 7600 CL36
Hello, I want these Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6200MHz C36 for an i7 13700k. Do you think they are worth it or do you have any other recommendations?
watch Linus Tech tips for ram - case of diminishing returns after 5600mhz but motherboard bios are in a degree of flux so it may improve. Currently latency impacts most after 5200mhz
I have DDR4 2133mhz 2x8gb.... With an I7 7700K.... and my gpu? RTX 4080... I play Fortnite with massive stutters and 60fps on 1080p ultra ☠️ DDR5 with I7 13700k is a MUST these days... Not to mention that my pc is slow af
What ddr4 Ram kit were you using?
more speed better ram usage
less ram timing better cpu gaming fps
so if you get the fastest ddr4 with the best timing get 32gb dual 2x16gb
and you will beat a ddr5 ram with slow timing
Wasnt there a new tehnology how ddr5 processes everything it has to? So higher cl doesnt matter

@@LegionGamingTV yeah, but imo i saw somewhere that ddr5 utilisez diffirently than ddr4 im not sure

Exact ram timings would be nice and helpful
Bueno por la placa madre diría que son a ddr4 4000mhz cl19 1.35v y ddr5 5600mhz cl40
4000 cl19 is bad. He is using TridentZ. My TridentZ does 4000cl15 1.45v 4000cl14 1.55v with 13600K
THANK YOU for this video! I'm saving up to get a 13700k, this video is a god send
Aren’t u just better off with an 13600k?

I think you need to buy a ddr5,but you`re ram is exelent,just 13700k runs on ddr4 like 5800x3d
