Shout out to the camera man also shredding down this hill, while filming. Very impressive!
Thanks! I also hit all the jumps with just as much air too, you just can't see because I'm pointing the camera towards Neil
@@JakeLeary What camera/gimbal/setup did you use to film?
@@cskeller07 iPhone 12 Pro with a Feiyu Tech 3 axis gimbal
Is the one wheel easier to ride than a skateboard?
@@AdrianGodoy3054 overall yes it is
This might be the best long / minimally edited trail video I've ever seen! Neils high speed bonks are insane. Dialed
Thanks!
Epic trail! Love all the little jumps and the smooth berms
I've already watched this like 3 times this week lmao, the vibes are too good 💯
Nico! Glad you're enjoying it!
Can't wait to see fully loaded 3party XR vs GT. Thanks for video. Like music. So smooth 🤙🤙
Hell yeah, those jumps and trail look fun 🤩
This video is my RUclips happy place. So relaxing and motivating and educational and inspiring
Awesome. Inspiring. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving!
What awesome great trail riding - what awesome great video recording of awesome great trail riding.
Nice! I wish we could have such trails in LA.
Mt baldy is closed for cars this week
Let’s shred it 😁
Please keep this type of footage coming it motivates me everyday 🙂 godbless
Awesome amounts of skill here!
These trails are amazing just like the riding 😍
I love Neil's stance. It looks safe, and is fast. Would love to hear more about the technique along with the weight to PSI ratio, and opinion on flight fins.
Hi, thank you. This is the BEST OneWheel video I have ever seen. There are no videos actually showing the whole thing. Most are crappy shots of the trails, or a selfie stick. Your shots are amazing and the colors of the trail are also amazing. Good luck to you.
Glad you liked it! More of these coming as soon as the trails dry up
Also definitely check out the Dirtsurferz videos (stage 1-6) on The Float Life youtube channel
Brilliant video, I love riding trails myself, so I realise how hard some of those trails/obstacles are.... Also, I've never seen anyone on a onewheel so good at jumping things!! 🤙🤙
Hey thanks! It helps to have these types of trails, close to home! Hit us up if you are ever in the Sacramento area.
@@thewheelneil1379 thanks 👍 but I'm in the UK, sherwood forest is on my doorstep... Robin Hood Country!! 😂🤙
@@youngy7449 sounds awesome! Hope to see you at a Onewheel event someday!
Beautiful trail!
I wish I was HALF that comfortable on trails...great job with the video and the tunes were awesome!
Hell yeah, dawg! Shreddinggggg
Watching you bounce off those rocks and roots like they're nothing is a thing of beauty. Way to shred!
Thanks!
@@thewheelneil1379👍🏾🏆🤙🏾
Awesome trail!
awesome shred
HELL YEAH BEST INTRO EVER😂😂🤣
Neil Bennett is a single track boss.
Float on my friends, or whatever…classic! Such good riding!!
😆 nice catch
So dope!
The trees whizzing by looks like the speeder bike scene from Star Wars. Cool stuff
Hehe thanks
Anyone know how well it handles steep hill climb in the cities and how water resistant it is?
They do well on inclines, depends on rider weight. Better to ride when it's not soaked out
@@thewheelneil1379 thank you was looking at the GT as my daily commuter and was concerned how water resistant it was if had to go to work in the rain and how well it took steep hills.
What control! No flight fins or anything, just one with the board 🔥
Thanks!
Guys bonking all over the place. Good shit!
Once again iPhone FTW! That motion blur still looks so sick . Thanks for these long videos. You should make like an old school feature length video, like the old skate and surf videos.
That would be sick! I may try and do something like that. In the meantime, word on the street is, the sequel to “Socially Distant” will be coming out soon
Excited to see what iPhones can do now that we can shoot prores.
Sick!! 😍
Dang you were going so fast I didn’t even see the GT in the video haha
Ur sick bro...more trail vidz plz
Awesome! That crack off the root on the second try was pimptastic! Great job dudes we need to send a suspension to test??!
If it'll work on my WTF protypes I'll give it a shot!
Hell yeah would love to!
Send it!
I'm curious what knee and elbow pads used. I need something for off-road
Fox Launch Pro D30 Knee Pads and Fox launch D30 elbow pads. The knee pads are especially good!
This is Fukin RAD.
Yes please and thank you.
Anybody know what the custom shaping that would be used in this video? Been riding a pint for years and got an XR today and am looking for some high speed shaping
Mission
@@JakeLeary thank you!

Awesome video! Neil makes it look sooo easy. Good job on the camera work jake! Any chance you’d give up the name or approximate location of this trail. It looks a spot I used to ride bikes at up near placerville / polock pines area. But that was about 10-15 years ago. Thanks for sharing… cheers!
It’s in Nevada City!
Leary and Bennett.....what do you think XR compared to GT? Super curious. Thanks guys
I’m gonna make a video this week about that. Spoiler alert! I don’t have anything positive to say about the GT
@@JakeLeary Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the GT, and maybe a comparison to the alternatives on the XR 3rd party market like WTF rails, CBXRs etc.
@neil or Jake first off that was some dope ridding, loved the beats Jake.
My question to you two which knee pads fix launch pro D30(what Neil is wearing) or fox launch D30?
Hey thanks! I'm wearing the Fox Launch Pro knee pads and Leatt upper body/hip pads
@@thewheelneil1379 thanks for replying! Any chance you tried the launch D30 knee pads (non pro version)? I wanted to see if you had any opinion between the two. Keep on crushing!
@@hungwensun I do have a pair of the standard D30 as well. I much prefer the Pro. To me, a hardshell is the way to go. More protective in general and tend to slide on the ground, rather than stick to it.
@@thewheelneil1379 Ahh, good to know thank you again for taking the time to reply! I'll also check out the hip pads you have. Happy Holidays!
Nice
Amazing how close to the ground his nose gets on so many occasions.. what would this same ride have looked like with standard rails?…
My warm up lap was on standard rails. I get a little more throttle in spots, but I tail scraped/dragged SO much more.
His nose is low not simply from the W rails but bc he chooses to ride them in Mission without a tilt kit. For downhill racing/riding he prefers it like that. Also if I wasn’t there slowing him down I believe he’d be getting more pushback and the nose would be a little higher
What trail is this?
I can't imagine what the GT will be like once people start modifying them
The thing is you can't, especially for speed. It's gonna have that super strong Pint pushback. XR are gonna go up in value.
@@HuyTran-sk3py I agree but shouldn't that just be a matter of software?
Got the REI low pro chair bolted to her already, so sic bra
@@HuyTran-sk3py lol no they are not. Ofc people will still enjoy XR but the pushback is a very good i between on the board. The GT will be the new king mark my words.
@@HuyTran-sk3py FM said the pushback is going to be different than a Pint in their long GT video. No way will XRs go up in price
Did you use a drone to film this? I'm just trying to figure out how someone was riding in front of you while filming. Looks great!
I’m the one filming while riding on a onewheel. iPhone camera on a gimbal
What tire were you using with this setup? Shreddin!
We’re both on Trail Pros
Can we call him "Quads of Steel Neil"?...look at that stance.
Also, what brand knee and elbow pads he have on? They look like they are pad on stretch material, look comfortable.
Fox Launch D30 Elbow Pads and Fox Launch Pro Knee Pads. Great combo. Though I do love the leatt upper body armor for full sending.
Do you realise that watching this video has made me click the buy now button on a GT 🤣😎🤣
Hell yeah! We are not anti-GT. Stoked for you!
@@thewheelneil1379 it will fit along side my DIY 8ooow esk8 as my turn on a dime trail blazer. Keep the videos coming 🙌🏼
where is this trail
Nevada City, CA
Man I miss riding
It misses you back!
@@thewheelneil1379 killing it as always
Soon bro, soon 🙏 too stoked to see you back out there
Where is this?
Nevada City, Ca
Is this near Nevada city ca?
Yep it’s Nevada city
@@JakeLeary that’s wild, I drive by there all the time on the way to Tahoe. Love the videos guys 🔥
Yo what’s the track name? Dope AF
Which one?
Lemme get all of em please. Those are going on my playlist
@@JakeLeary very first track
1. Autumn Haze - West & Zander
2. Moment - Jones Meadow
3. Show Me How It’s Done - Beautiful Minds
Came for the shred, stayed for the tunes! Amazing all around!
Stock battery?
Correct!
@@thewheelneil1379 Sweet, I been wondering how the WTFs perform on the trails. Do you find you are giving up much clearance?
@@trexn8 i give up nose clearance at lower speed because I choose to run Mission. Custom would solve that issue but I prefer mission for racing. At full pushback, im pretty level which gives me a lot more control.
WTF rails do not give up clearance compared to stock rails. If you run wtf without tilt kit or custom settings the nose will be lower, but since the tail is higher in that case I don’t think you can call that a loss of clearance
@@JakeLeary the gt looks thick. Wonder if there will be issues. Prob lots of nose grinding lol
Is this what riding Rocklin is like?
Nevada City
Yep, it is a board sport.
Heard somebody hit 27.8mph on the XR with the CBXR without nose diving, GT ain't gonna be able to match that.
A few of us hit 27.8, and over 28mph even at Race for the Rail last year.
What is this cbxr?
There's 69 likes already, I cant click like.... but I'll leave a comment :)
69th comment baby!
Maybe it’s just me, but I swear you can ride ten times harder and in control barefoot.
My worst accidents and sketchiest falls or turns have been with shoes.
Board feel is important, no doubt.
Shoes add height. When you’re lower, you’re more stable, but when you have to run out at 15mph downhill on rocky trails you want shoes
Straight mobbed..
i cant believe the gt will hit 20 without pushback
Awesome trail video, but lame title
Haha you click on lame titles, nerd
