Watching these videos, you realise what a delightful personality he had. He looked like an incredibly good sport and seemed to completely lack any kind of ego, which is refreshing.
Apricot Lil - she worked in the jam factory. Slack Alice and Everard Farquaharson were maids of honour at her ill fated wedding to Pop It In Pete (the postman). Vinegar Vera worked at the chip shop
Very funny man, he appeared in panto in my town around 1980, I remember seeing him walking through the town centre with a white coat draped around his shoulders with a couple of other cast members and he was just like his character we remember on tv. Sadly missed
Michael Barrymore looks and sounds like someone is pointing a gun right at him, forcing him to talk, no love or warmth towards the great man he is "supposed " to be paying tribute to. Can't understand why they had to have his miserable presence in this programme.
M.b.seems to be a deeply troubled soul, who badly needs to be understood and helped..there is agony in him...he is I think potentially a great entertainer..for whom I feel..

Larry was just brilliant. So funny. Great on the generation game.
Larry was a fabulous laugh - and such a nice bloke !
"I cant find a five" and Isla laughing when he said it, all so genuine and incredibly funny.
The Morris Dancers part literally had me crying haha. Bloody genius.
