I just wanted to say my polished ammonite arrived quickly and in perfect condition (I live in the USA). It's stunning like a tiny galaxy. Thank you.

I've seen nothing of the sorts here off the northern coast of California and I've definitely looked and all I've been able to bring back to my mother for here yard has been old washed up wood that takes on shapes via the ocean waves, sand, and barnacles on occasions

Awesome video mate. That exact spot where you said it was treacherous is where I slipped about 15 year back and turned my ankle. We were fishing a Wednesday club match in the dark. I could barely walk but just about managed to get off before the tide came in.

Hopefully you didn’t go back up that vertical rope there! Sounds like a nightmare!

@@ForgottenFossils No I walked off that night. I used to use the one further back towards the village, near where that dead whale was (or maybe still is).

Those second two nodules looked great! Too bad they were calcified. And that big one looked great! Can’t wait to see it prepared! I’d say keep the outer whorl on but you’ll know how to best deal with it.

That rock which was hard to open had a lot of red to it so the iron inside probably made it harder to crack.
