    I'm grateful you posted such a long and interesting video today, this past week I've gotten very sick with covid and this was such a nice distraction from how much discomfort I'm in. I hope you guys discover more incredible finds soon!

    i collect turonian and cenoman fossils myself here in bavaria and i really enjoy watching you guys hunt for fossils. what an impressive place for collecting fossils and the video is really well done!

      ​@@YorkshireFossils The mammites nodosoides ammonites from the danubian cretaceous group look more ugly than nice and they are extremely hard to hunt... i'm the only hunter i suppose...

    You are quite knowledgeable! Appreciate details about crocodile fossil. It is probably impossible to find the rest of the crocodile, assuming it even fossilized, after tens is millions of years. As you said, this is all what is left of the creature...

      That’s correct, we’ve shown a few of these fossil hunts previously and have re-uploaded some footage. Often, the videos have received few views so not many people saw them the first time they were shown

    what are the layers in those nodules guys? and how many different ammonites are there?

      It’s iron pyrite and limestone! I actually don’t know how many species there are, but certainly lots!

      Thanks for your comment, that’s an interesting point you make. Just to clarify - as well as finding specimens, we also prepare and preserve rare specimens. If people didn’t do what we did, there would be no such thing as fossil displays in museums.

      what an absolutely uneducated, ridiculous comment. They arent pulling out complete T-rex fossils worth millions. These things are fairly common. How else are we to learn from these amazing finds? Would you pay more taxes to have it it done by a Govt committee?
