SEAT Leon Cupra 280ST DSG resonator deleted

SEAT Leon Cupra 280ST DSG with resonator deleted. Still very quiet. The camera is very close to the exhaust so it sounds louder than in real life. If you soundaktor active in your car then you will only hear the DSG farts when in sport or Cupra modes or giving it the beans.

I have a cupra 280 ST and was going to get a centre res del but was thinking maybe get the backboxes deleted instead? Any thoughts?

Back boxes would be louder and possibly drone. I've had the res delete for over a year now and its sounding rather nice now. More throaty. Will try to do an updated video but I closed my boot on my go pro which turned it into a go jigsaw.

boabsta thanks for the reply. Car going on Monday to get sorted but didn’t want it to be 2 quiet as it’s super quiet atm standard. Any info is appreciated. Sorry about the GoPro lol

The ST only has the one resonator and individual back boxes for each pipe. The 3 and 5 door hatches have 2 resonators and 1 shared back box. Hth.

boabsta oh yes you are right I have only had my Cupra st for 2 weeks not familiar with everything yet...but would you recommend the res delete ? No droning ?

Yes I would recommend it. It's still quiet for the most part but livens up when pushed. I only get minimal drone when sitting about 80 but still less than what I have had with stock exhausts on other cars. The res delete just makes the cupra sound how it should sound from stock.

I took the car to local exhaust fabricator who fitted a straight bit of pipe and only charged £60. Any garage can do this. May also upload a new vid now that I have turbo muffler delete, intake elbow and high flow filter fitted.
