I beat a Dodge 5.8 SS truck or whatever it's called and the guy was in disbelief. That was a fun truck. Why do we sell things and regret it later? Plus the stock internals on the k24 and even the stock tranny are good for 350hp and with some basic stuff swapped out for stronger aftermarket parts, then 400-450hp is a fairly doable with a kraftworks supercharger or a turbo kit. The TSX/ accord euro is a very good platform to mod.

    One of my aunts old boyfriends has a first gen TL that he out ran the cops on 95 in. My aunt and here boyfriend even had a lawsuit over it when they broke up because he was married to someone else. She ended up losing and had to keep a old Corolla that she was still making payments on instead of the TL . I love V6 honda engines. My Dad took my Grandparents old V6 first year Accord and redid the suspension and did a tuned it up. It's still one of the fastest cars I have ever driven in my life. I remember one night coming home from work I kept up with a wrx on the road. He ended up getting into a wreck and the car was totaled because of the high mileage that was on it. He ended up buy a Ford ranger and had that thing for years. I may start looking for a good V6 honda instead of a sports car. pretty much did the same. bought mine from the oringal owner with all the service records at 120k miles. two years later at about 155,000. outside of oil changes I have had a few things, rear brake caliper seized up last year. so ended up doing both rear calipers, pads and rotors. One of the A/c Shrader valves begin to leak. cost me $5 for a new Shrader valve and already had the tool to replace it, plus about 10 minutes of my time. The starter went too, well rather the ground went on it and i could have just replaced the ground strap but i couldn't see it til I had the starter out and already had the new one so just replaced it anyway.
      That said, I pretty much stole it from the original owner at $1000, knowing it needed a cat which i bought OEM for $600 and put in myself. so all in $1,600 for what was roughly 5k before the prices started climbing, cant complain for the few issues i had lol

    I had a 2003 CL Type S 6 speed (rare, only 3500 made). It was quick, especially for the time. The Honda LSD and six speed were great.
    Two GTi (2002 and 2017) both tuned). 3k lbs, sticks and 300+hp. Muscle cars were always surprised in a line and both handled beautifully.
    2013 S4. Supercharged 3 liter. Tuned to 444hp, Quattro AWD and a tuned DSG. Most people just thought it was an A4, had to know to look for quad exhaust+wider body+special calipers. Best 0-60 I recorded on draft was 3.6 w/rollout. It slayed from light to light. I frequently got shocked thumbs up and or WTF is that thing looks.
    My current carries the tradition. RWD 2018 340i MPPSK. I de-badged… if I have it comfort mode you need to really know what you’re looking at to tell it’s not your normie 3 series. There are clues (factory M decal on side skirt, the blue M calipers, the MPPSK has a special rear diffuser) but largely similar enough to a 328i to blend into traffic. In sport mode though the b58 and MPPSK exhaust sort of blows your cover. Especially with a downpipe and tune. Factory staggered RWD, four piston Brembos, near 50-50 weight distribution, 3555lbs on stock heavy wheels (my summers are 20lbs vs 28lbs stock. All the elements of a great sports sedan and actually really light for a modern carc especially one with so much luxury (like a HUD, full leather, ect.) The b58/ZF8 combo is well established at this point (the Supra uses the same, I just needed four doors for the family!). Stock, it’s good. Tune both and mild bolt ons and it’s well documented you have a giant slayer on your hands. 390rwhp on just 93, close to 500 on E40. Nothing like blending into traffic until a 392 roles up and wants to play (most car guys still spot you, or at least hear the b58 thrum) and you can send them packing with a large gap. If you pass the cops, good luck hiding your lime green SRT… I can pop it into comfort (valved exhaust) and my grey debadged 3 series is a lot less likely to get noticed… its great to spank a new c8 Vette in my “plain” car! Being stage 2+ on e40 you’re talking low 11s @124+ and high 7s/low 8s for 60-130. So much fun…

    Handles great
    Reliable
    Looks great
    Only downsides are the 17-18mpg premium required and the slow shifting transmission. (Sport mode helps)

    If reliability isn't a huge factor and you just want an LS V8 sleeper, get a 2006-2009 Impala SS. They came with a 300hp LS4 V8 and looked like any other Impala fleet car. The transmissions were a bit sus though, and tended to be ticking time bombs because they were never meant to handle that much power and torque.

      Honestly man.. those things are dogs just like the 2000-2010 lincoln ls v8 3.9l with 280hp, they were fast back in like 2003 but after that V6s were performing much better stock. I put busses on this one guy who was definitely catless in my 07 camry 3.5l pushing 270 and the torque was 258, took it from a 20 roll all the way to 120 but I think he gave up by the time i hit 100 since he wasn't in front of me.

      The 3.6 would honestly be the best route unless you are looking to dump cash. A little less torque, but around the same HP and a much more reliable 6 speed with the Impala fleet. LFX is tuneable with plenty of Camaro parts able to be modified to fit

    • @_Amiasian
      @_Amiasian 2 года назад

      @@R3AL-AIM I own the 3.6 impala and I love it, I beat several SS with it and a lot of the cars on this list actually. I managed to get mines for about 5k down side is well there’s is not to many mods for performance which is why I believe it did not make this list. Alot of the camaro parts won’t fit the 3.6 because the impala is FWD and the camaro is RWD so the engines are facing two different ways. Still a really great sleeper and can be tuned easy by several shops. Also if u get the flex fuel one like mines I’ll be saving gas money E85 is only around $3 a gallon where im at.

      If reliability isn’t a huge factor as the Honda & Toyota guys aren’t sweating..that SS you speak of has been spanked by both, if you did it in A 3.2..that SS was on its last leg.😂

    Kinda surprised the Pontiac Vibe GT/Toyota Matrix XRS didn't make the list. Thing is a wagon with a Toyota C60 manual that has relations with LOTUS. The 2ZZ-GE engine can take either a turbo or supercharger, and revs to 8000 RPMs, plus this thing called LIFT from the VVTL-i 1.8 four-banger. Have fun messing with those Audi and STi enthusiasts.

    Buy a 4th gen accord get some rods and Pistons an h23 intake manifold and turbo it. 20 psi 400 hp for years in a sub 3k pound car and if you wanna accelerate even harder get an LSD h22 transmission (shorter gear ratios and obviously LSD). Total cost 7k
