On the nemesis reborn vip event, the mechanics said the rattle is either something to do with the drip trays at the top of the train or the gravel filling of the track. They are still the old trains and they were retrofitted with these drip trays. Apparently because the trains weren’t designed for these new trays it is potentially them. Personally not sure how that could cause it except maybe they amplify any juddering from the train and hence why you can hear it quite loudly.
Hopefully they can get this sorted out!

The fact that I live 4 hours away from Alton towers has been haunting and torturing me this week. We go every year for scare fest and it’s the highlight of my year every time. I need to forget about the park for a few more months as our annual trip is 5 months away!! 🤣🥲😭 Been loving binge watching your vlogs lately though. Love you both and it makes me feel like in there! 😂❤
Same, I live about 3 hrs away and I go once a year during scare fest and it's always the thing I'm most excited for each year as I absolutely love Alton towers, currently counting down the days of those 4 months I have to wait 😢

Since I went to chesinton last year I have been obsessed with theam parks and I love your videos with you and Charlotte whenever I feel down I watch your videos and it gets my mood up so I want to thank you ❤
We went begining of May for two days. It was so hot those two days. Also we had problems with rides keep shutting. Nemesis literally did a full evacuation as we were getting on. Thankfully we were first there on day two. First in the queue. First two seats. Quite an experience.
Good vlog! To my surprise, I’ve been to Alton Towers three times this year. I take the 06:33am train from Euston to Stafford, then the X41 bus. I often go to theme parks alone, and I love single-rider queues. I agree that Alton Towers needs more of them.

@@CoasterRobEspecially Galactica. I saw quite a few double seats being left empty. When I was last there, a couple in the queue spotted a spare seat in row 7. They told me, so I legged it🙈
OMG I am a major plant person, and those rhododendrons were massive and so beautiful!!!! I'd like to visit for the flowers and foliage alone. Combination of my two favorite hobbies!

the gardens are absolutely FULL of beautiful flowers and nature 😊the walk up and down is a bit strenuous though
I visited Towers yesterday and was lucky enough to get on Nemesis Reborn twice (after quite a late start to operations). It was just simply amazing! What a rollercoaster! The vlogs you two have put together throughout the closure period and the re-opening really added to my experience and enjoyment of Nemesis, so thank you!

I was at Alton on Saturday and the ops were absolutely on fire. Waited about 20 minutes for Smiler in the standby queue, 10 mins for Nemmy, decent weather. Perfect day!
Especially seeing we had 5 first-timers in our group too 😁

I agree from a guests view the tent covers the view of the towers but it is great to see alton towers providing a covered area for the lawns entertainment

The new food options look not only better but fresher and more care taken in portion sizes and quality!

Th13teen was my first ride of the day on my 13th birthday! I got 2 goes on it within 10 minutes, and watching this vlog just reminded me for some reason.

On the nemesis vip tour the engineers said that the rattle could be caused by either the sand in the track or the drip trays

Is there a best route around the park to make the most of your time? I see you started up at 13 and worked your way back. Do most people head for smiler and nemesis first thing?
Usually that’s the best way to navigate the park

Recently took my 13 year old for her first visit and did exactly as you do, dark forest first and got 13 done twice before Rita had even opened and then did wicker man after the initial rush had cleared 3:02 thanks so much for the tips! Also thanks for the facts that I now pass on to her…..keep on riding!

There’s areas provided for bags on every ride!
I was at Alton towers for the first time last month and I am proud to say that the first 2 rides I went on were The smiler and Oblivion

I'm reasonably new to your channel. Do some parks not let you film POVs or is it a personal choice for some vlogs?
We always film on ride at parks that allow it. Unfortunately on ride filming is very limited at Merlin theme parks!

Going for the first time in June ; we will be on-site during our stay. Any advice for starting our first day from the Alton Towers hotel ? We also have to take a monorail ?

I visited Alton towers on Sunday and Monday and had my tpw worldwide hoody on and I was so happy when one of the staff members on Rita recognised your channel love your videos guys!
I was hoping to meet you but unfortunately you guys were at paultons park great vlog though, everyone got a free day back since the weather wasn’t amazing on Sunday as there was a storm nearby the only main ride that was open was the mine train so hopefully I get to meet you then or in the future, can’t wait for the Asia trip vlogs!

Shawn with hex being a vekoma madhouse i was at lego yesterday and i have to say monster party had ALOT of downtime and actually riding it was very jolty and squeaking, clearly hex isnt the only one having problems also great video as per!

Good video, Shawn and Charlotte! Alton Towers is one of my top bucket list parks. I'm also very excited for your wedding! You make a wonderful couple. Ironically, one of my cousins is getting married tomorrow (May 31), so I'll be heading there tomorrow.

I went last Friday, and both rides on Nemesis were front row. Also got two wicker man rides in. The reborn nemesis is so brilliant.

I took my IELTS class work to parks before. It's no longer valid.
I was told I could not simply only take English Literature to make up for English Language only GCSE ..
Everyone revises differently.
Went on the 27th of this month. 5 rides were closed at the start of the day nemesis was closed till 16 00 got on all the thrill rides except for Rita it sucks honestly. Glad you guys posted today though! 😊

19:38 Geese love green landscaping. I see a lot of geese back home in the states and anything that has green landscaping, office parks, theme parks, they love to spend lots of time there. There are some juvenile adolescent geese along with baby geese and adult geese. So I can see why geese love Alton Towers over by the castle.

I remember riding on Thunder Looper between 1990 and 1996. Shame they got rid of it, apparently due to planning permission problems.
Hi guys congrats on the engagement, been following you on and off for a while and along with the young Nieces, you have inspired me to be brave and tackle theme park rides once more as a grown up! I managed to get pre opening tickets to try out the new Tir na nOg coasters in Emerald Park in Ireland (formally Tayto Pk) a few weeks ago.. The suspended thrill is so like Nemesis but people reckon it's better... great theming, hope you get to check it out! Thanks for the guide and tips through Alton Towers! Dave from Dublin

I rode Nemesis the first month it was open originally, and it was just nice to hear that after it's reopening all these years later it still makes that unmistakeable noise as it goes around the track, the last rollercoaster I rode was Icon at Blackpool which I both loved and terrified me lol I'm not sure I could handle Nemesis anymore but it will always be my favourite rollercoaster (incidentally the first inverted coaster I ever rode was Python at Effterling) when I was fifteen showing my age now lol

That happened to us, came all the way from New Zealand, went in super early only and headed for Nemesis for the first ride only to find it closed, headed for Smiler, also closed, Oblivion ALSO closed (and didn't open again the rest of the day either), so had to go all the way back to Rita, which was thankfully open. Was so disappointing.

Great vlog again, enjoyed watching. Pity some rides were down but at least you managed to get on quite a few, even The Smiler which brings back memories of when you two first met awww😊. Mmm the sausage and chips look really nice - better than the usual Park food ha ha. Yes I thought Hex would have been open for the Bank Holiday too.

Thats a thing ive noticed with alton towers this year. Ive never seen rides open early. I was so shocked going up to nemmy seeing it open at 9 40. Its 10 times better than last season.

As much as I love wickerman, I think they could make the queue shorter by removing the short clip and adding monitors in the line or around the baggage area to speed it up
The idea of them having 1 entrance and exit for CBeebies Land is so that it's always manned - that means once kids are inside, they can't just run off into the rest of the park without their parents, so they're easier to find if they get lost! Was the second entrance manned?
Welcome to see them open them both all the time, staffed of course!
Not sure if I’m the only one that noticed this but on the station track at 37:32 it looks like it reads “Still Nemesis” in the veins 😀

I love the repaint on oblivion and the fact they have got the mist working again. Is it just me or have they really reduced the time you hang over the drop!? That was one of my favourite elements!

Ah yes good old Alton towers, I’m going on the 11th and luckily no rain is forecasted.
Planning to come back here for the first time since 2019 with a guy I’m currently seeing. Gonna try and come with him before the summer holidays start so we can make the most of it!

I visited early May got a row 4 middle seat on smiler wasn't too rough surprisingly
When i last rode Nemesis Reborn i did notice a slight rattle at the end but nothing as back as what others are saying
