I ride this bike around NYC every day. This review goes on an on about the missing kickstand but misses more missing components much more important for urban riding (such as fenders to protect from rain splashing up), or the bad flaw that makes it lose all of its battery charge while parked for just 3 days. They had production issues too -- for example, my front brake rotor just came lose after just a year of riding.

Does it help if you take the battery off while it’s parked? Are there any other flaws during the period from the day you purchase until now? I’m interested in purchasing one since it’s a smart carbon e-bike and I don’t want to make the wrong mistake. Hope you can help me out :,)

@@Jay_H0931 You better make the RIGHT mistake then! No serious flaws except for the battery as mentioned. The brake rotors needed to be tightened at some point. A little oil was needed. I added some cheap, replaceable fenders. I would say this was a good purchase at $2,000 (usually available with a discount to bring it to near that price). At US$3,000 (normal retail price) I would have expected a much more perfect bike.

Did you get the bike as a Indiegogo backer or purchase from the web site?

Honestly, they provided me a loaner bike to review.

Can you do the chain bike review?

Looks like there are some issues, but is about time someone threw these features on an e-bike. The Tesla e-bike will be pretty cool, I imagine.

It´s pretty obvious why there are no kickstands or mudguards, because Urtopia wants to market it´s bike as one of the lightest around. But they should throw them in free. Can you also change the saddle? I hate these stupid thin sporty seats.

I’m still trying to figure out how he recorded this video. Did he use a drone?

Nope. I use one of these: wetried.it/recommends/insta360

Thanks for the reply. The link took me to your site but I assume it's the Insta360. I checked it out but I'm still confused. Seems like you need a selfie type stick but you don't use one in your reviews. I'm missing something I'm sure.

@@ohcaptainvideo I was trying to figure out how he was getting those shots also. I noticed he had clamp mounted to the handlebar. Then he had a insta360 camera mounted on a insta 360 selfi stick. Thats how he did it. He could just replied to you and told how he did it. Hope this helps you

Not good idea with the position of camera. Is this review for bike or your back and helmet ?

Did you ride this bike? Way faster than my Rad Rover with a 750W motor because it weighs less than half. Find a place to ride it and THEN comment.

Honestly it’s not for anyone, unless you enjoy wasting money on a total gimmick.

It actually rides really well. Since you haven’t ridden it you should not comment. PS. $2100 now and has a kickstand.
