Excellent presentation. I am a Retired Nurse who was diagnosed with LBD four months ago. It has been a very difficult for me to accept this awful desease. I have lost some of my independence, like driving.
I thank you so much for helping me, and others to understand our "new brain" function.

Thank you for your comment.... LBD is very hard to accept, probably the most difficult for both you and your family. However, I can tell you, that while I worked at UPenn in dementia, I very often saw a beautiful blessing emerge after the dx of LBD in that the love of the spouse and/or children for the affected loved blossomed and brought the family much closer together in the midst of the suffering. Love is sacrificing for the other and it is beautiful to witness.

Great presentation I have been seeing patients with LBD for over a year but I did not know some of the finer points of the deficits and also learned about the names of the delusions! Thank you, well done.
