I came from Colombia south America and l have an 84 year old sister, who was diagnosed with this dementia. But she came from a big family, of 11 children and when she was 1 year old, she fell down from a very high second floor window to the ground, but amazingly she survived! It seems to me that great accidents in which a person can hurt their brain, has something to do with this dementia. Has anyone investigated, the relationship, between this dementia and having accidents during their lives, in which they hurt their brains ?
My concern is where I am at with this path… I’m not in a designated dementia stage, and am beginning to dive into MCI. What do I do to stay in this range for a long as I can?
