I lived with my partner for few years, exactly as explained, now he is in a home, and I have hard time with accepting his illness. Thank you for information. You are absolutely right, like you are explaining what I have experienced.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for sharing a heartbreaking reality. I am torn between actually facing the reality and continuing to disguise the issue for my husbands reality. He does not want to know what is wrong.

My father has Lewy Body Dementia, does that make it possible for me to get it as well?

The more I research this the more awareness is needed as caregivers are being reported to elder abuse if police get involved, automatically loving caregiver gets wrongly blamed and shamed.

A comment she said her late wife had what was multiple TIAs which were actually the proteins doubling. Wow, my husband has had many many tias. Some I believe were but some were different and since he had stroke n tias in history, we were told it was TIA. I now believe it was lest body!

Very informative and empowering/reassuring. I viewed Ms. Johnson-Young's websites and found a wealth of resources there as well. Thank you very much.

So on this channel, LBD is the most common. On other channels LBD is a rare type of dementia.
